Death and cats… (unposted pic from about a month ago) He claims to hate them, especially when they have multiple lives (it’s like the game “Wack-A-Mole” to him) and chase souls as if they’re yarn balls (making his basic task of collecting souls more difficult), but deep down within the dark void of his hollow rib cage Death has a soft spot for them due to their affection towards him and occasional gift of lost souls they managed to catch. Though all cats can see souls, cats with odd-eye also share his ability to simultaneously see both living and death beings (many cultures see Heterochromia as magical, the green/brown eye representing the Earth and life, while the blue represents Heaven and death). - As a human, Death refers to himself in 3rd person and takes on his current incarnation’s name (Richard Kasper) to avoid confusion amongst Grim Reapers and to keep his true identity secret to anyone else aside from family (99% of people who discovered he’s Death die within hours, including ex-lovers and coworkers; his girlfriend Sigrid is an exception because she’s already cursed to have her soul personally collected by Death at a set time). -
