Freyja’s homemade specialty: Kraken Surprise - Swedish Meatballs, Bratwurst, Sauerkraut, Mashed Potatoes, Lingonberry Gravy, and a Kraken’s Leg. 🦑 Freyja takes pride in making this dish for her husband and son, but her boys hide from fear whenever she makes it (her father Erik enjoys eating his plate with no problems, proving only a Ström can master the Kraken). - So what’s the surprise? It’s either how bad it tastes (Freyja’s not a great cook, and sometimes would add additional food items that would affect taste and texture), or the fact that the kraken legs will stick on like face huggers from “Aliens” (both father and son would harpoon their kraken legs for hours until they stop moving). Freyja takes offense if anyone at home refuses to eat her specialty dish, therefore she takes extreme measures to make sure her family is “fed properly”. —
