Choosing a name
Richard and Sigrid having a serious chat about their son’s name. - Magnus is a nice old name that means “Great”, “Awesome”, and “Magnificent”. But Sigrid isn’t convinced - she thinks it’s too flashy; she wants something down-to-earth and also has simple nicknames to go with it - like Richard is “Dick” or “Dickie” (“Ricky” is his older brother Heinrich’s nickname). —
