Crazy what a difference a year can be... - After a long shift at work at the hospital, Tyrone and Johannes Faustuz would often hit the bar for a beer or two to relax. Since COVID-19 hit, the two can no longer hangout with Tyrone still working at the hospital and Faustuz indefinitely furloughed (now working at home as a substitute professor). But timed right, Tyrone and Faustuz find a moment to share a toast and chat online. - •Side Note: TBH, I kinda envy my OCs because I don’t have close friends; since leaving school and other factors (I’d rather not mention out loud), I’ve lost contact with past friends and pen pals over the years, only having immediate family, my husband, and coworkers to keep me company (in other words, I’ve been living the quarantine life even before it was a thing, lol). So drawing and interacting with others on IG are integral to keeping the mind off the loneliness and boredom during this tough time; if I can entertain and inspire others here, then my work is worth it. —
