Hanami — Part 9 — page 1

Page 9: Going outside to eat some Dango.🍡 - Like many kids, Cedrick only appears when there’s food around. And like many kids, he doesn’t always listen to his father for his own reasons - Cedrick is very impressionable, especially in regards with his grandfather Erik (there’s times even Hr. Dr. Kasper calls his son a mini-version of Freyja’s father depending on situations). Cedrick is also not very attached to his grand-aunt Yoko’s Japanese culture, so instead he’s wearing a black Kimono-inspired shirt on top (with a skull on the back as a Kasper usually has on somewhere). - Cedrick also brought up the term “Wakashū” - often a teen boy in the Edo Era who was dressed as a female until he’s grown up into a man (basically a “pupae stage” or “middle gender”); this concept fell out of fashion and turned into the idea of “Bishonen” (or “Pretty-Boy”) to reflect a boy’s youth and good-looks. __
