Another : • Heinrich & Richard’s younger half-sister: Sabrina “Nina”Vandenberg. Sabrina was the result of their mother’s affair with an American soldier she eloped with after giving birth to a second son she didn’t want. Sabrina doesn’t mind her oldest half-brother Heinrich being everyone’s favorite child (she also adores him for his cool & collected demeanor), but like her mother and stepfather, she can’t stand being around Richard and constantly belittles him to show her dominance within the family (both siblings resemble their mother & have the same hot temper). She also doesn’t like Richard’s new girlfriend Sigrid - feeling mostly jealous of her youth, beauty, wit, & ability to cast complex spells (Sabrina is about 5-10 years older than Sigrid and never went to an academy to hone her magical skills). • Both Kasper Brothers have been extremely close since their mother abandoned the family for her lover & their youngest sibling, with Heinrich often protecting Richard from their father’s abuse. Despite their large age gap & opposite personalities, they are often seen together - playing Football when they were children, now sharing beers together as adults at the local pub. The two had a brief fallout when Heinrich broke off his betrothal and married the woman he loved - forcing Richard to step up and take over the role as the new heir; their relationship was repaired with the birth of Heinrich’s children (Richard would spoil them rotten, giving his brother & sister-in-law headaches from the trouble). Heinrich initially didn’t like his younger brother’s choice to date and eventually marry Sigrid, remarking Richard is “too old to be chasing after schoolgirls” and agreed with their father that “she’s better off dead” due to her life curse. However, as time passed, he grew to enjoy their discussions about plants and playing chess with her (he’d always get checkmated, realizing why his brother so attracted to her). —
