Another … Took awhile to finish this due to being busy with work and feeling lazy/tired/uninspired the past several days. •Sigrid likes dressing up in shorts & tanks when she’s not wearing school uniforms/dresses; when it’s nighttime she gets cold since she forgets to bring a sweater/jacket. Since Richard appeared, he’s been lending his coats which smells like Calvin Klein Obsession (Sigrid thought he’d stink with all the monsters & souls he hunts). •Hedy (Sigrid’s home room teacher/neighbor Mr. Vannderhassen’s cat) loves sneaking into Aina’s greenhouse for naps and visits with Odin (the neighborhood stray tomcat). As much as Sigrid and her mother love cats, their neighbor often accuses Aina of stealing his cat and is upset seeing a another man with Sigrid. •Richard gets calls from Aina at his office in Kiel about Tatzelwurms; they’re weasel/snake-like creatures that burrow underground & drawn to valuable crops (Aina grows flowers, shrubs, and herbs). He’ll get bloodied with scratches and bites killing them, which leads to stains on Aina’s floors; to prevent them, she’d force Richard to strip off his clothes and rinse off all the blood before getting locked in the bathroom until the laundry was done. •Sigrid relaxing after a doctor’s appointment; both know they’re expecting a boy but not sure if he’ll look like his mother or father (Johannes Faustuz ended up looking a lot like Richard). •Faustuz was able to see souls when he was about 3-6 months old; one soul would be floating nearby which scared him; it was his mother’s soul Richard keeps around for sentimental reasons after removing it from Sigrid’s body (Death keeps a special collection of souls of people he loved). •Aina has a hard time telling her grandson about his parents, esp. since it was Richard as Death who took Sigrid’s soul out; because of this, Faustuz grew up hating his father. —
