Another with Richard, Sigrid, Aina, and a baby Johannes. - Aina had always been saddened by her daughter’s fate to die young, afraid of Sigrid not living a full life until then. Richard’s appearance was when Aina knew Sigrid’s time was almost up, but she also realized that Death sent the youngest Kasper - an unmarried, handsome traveling Grim Reaper/doctor - to observe Sigrid as a possible act of mercy (Richard isn’t as hasty to kill compared to his father; he also had pity for Sigrid). She was beyond happy when her daughter and Richard finally fell in love, got married, and had a son, but was soon devastated with Sigrid’s predicted demise followed by Richard’s unexpected death; her last glimmer of joy was her grandson Johannes Faustuz, whom she enjoyed taking care of during the summer months whenever he visited Copenhagen from Kiel. —
