Being connected with Death, recruited over the centuries to kill rogue monsters (and occasionally humans), and hired by questionable people to provide knowledge of the occult, the black skull is an appropriate symbol of the family’s dark history and a physical reminder of what happens to anything/anyone that crosses their path. It’s also the nickname for the current patriarch of the Kasper estate (Olaf Kasper, who’s still alive). - A necklace with a hand-carved black crystal skull is the Kasper heir’s ultimate symbol of love, swearing his unconditional devotion until Death separates him from his partner. ——
