Day 9: Casual Outfit 4 •Jersey •Jeans •Street Shoes - Something sporty with a Denmark jersey and edgy when it comes to denim (ombré tie-dye). And lots of red. — #autodesksketchbook #malecharacter #digitalart #digitaldrawing #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #man #inktober #inktober2020 #clothing #outfit #outfitoftheday #digitalink #digitalinktober #digitalinktober2020

October is Cedrick’s birth month. His second-cousin Evangeline thinks he’s a cursed child being born on Friday the 13th, while Tante Yoko thinks he could be a reincarnation of his grandfather Richard (who was born on the 10th of October). Alongside him are marigolds, cosmos, and a calendula - all birth flowers for October. — #autodesksketchbook #malecharacter #teenboy #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #october #flowers #cosmos #marigold #calendula #bowlcut #glasses #brown #orange #yellow #red #pink #green #fashion

Day 7: Casual Outfit 2 •Buttoned T-Shirt •Slacks •Loafers - This is something even I would wear, lol. Except I’d be wearing Adidas sandals and Super Mario socks instead of loafers. I’m just too sloppy and lazy to make even casual looks elegant and stylish like this guy. — #autodesksketchbook #malecharacter #digitalart #digitaldrawing #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #man #inktober #inktober2020 #clothing #outfit #outfitoftheday #digitalink #digitalinktober #digitalinktober2020

Day 3: Tracksuit •Jacket •Pants •Shoes - 2nd Slide, Johannes Faustuz decided to wear his father’s (Richard’s) 1980 track jacket instead. Sometimes wearing something contrasting and retro is just the perfect finish to an outfit. — #autodesksketchbook #malecharacter #digitalart #digitaldrawing #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #man #inktober #inktober2020 #clothing #outfit #outfitoftheday #digitalink #digitalinktober #digitalinktober2020

Day 2: Quarantine Outfit 2 •Tank Top •Boxers •Socks •Slippers - Looks like he caught the “Midnight Snacker” who’s been eating his stash of Baumkuchen (Tree Cake). But who? Cedrick? Erik? Rosemarie and her fairy friends? Who knows. — #autodesksketchbook #malecharacter #digitalart #digitaldrawing #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #man #inktober #inktober2020 #clothing #outfit #outfitoftheday #digitalink #digitalinktober #digitalinktober2020

Inktober 2020 will pretty much be an “Outfit of the Day” prompt with this guy, all done with digitally (unless I feel like a traditional pic for the day). I can’t guarantee a pic every day due to work, so some days I might get far ahead or fall behind. - Day 1: Quarantine Outfit 1 •T-Shirt •Sweatpants •Slippers — #autodesksketchbook #malecharacter #digitalart #digitaldrawing #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #man #inktober #inktober2020 #clothing #outfit #outfitoftheday #digitalink #digitalinktober #digitalinktober2020

It’s just Cedrick walking the family’s pet Hellhound/Doberman Frl. Flicka. The closer it gets to Halloween, the more she starts to show off her true form as a fire-breathing monster. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #malecharacter #teenboy #dog #originalcharacterart #originalcharacter #animestyle

Granger Rodriguez in her Grim Reaper attire, heavily inspired by the Sugar Skull of Dia de Los Muertos and Spanish/Mexican clothing. — #autodesksketchbook #femalecharacter #originalcharacterart #digitalart #digitalillustration #digitaldrawing #halftone #blackandwhite #animestyle #mangastyle #hat #skull #mask #lace #woman #diadelosmuertos #grimreaper

Hr. Dr. Kasper dressed up as a Grim Reaper, or “Juanito” as his fellow grim reaper Granger Rodriguez calls him. 2nd Slide is a cute bonus (still doesn’t reveal whether if he’s right or left handed; Cedrick and Freyja are officially left-handed, while Faustuz appears to be right-handed in most pics but he’s equally flexible with both), and 3rd Slide is another version of his Grim Reaper attire. — I might be a little bit early for Halloween and Dia de Los Muertos to be drawing this...😅 But I love drawing creepy things from time to time... And in black and white too, which is technically digital ink work that could be ideal for Inktober this year... - I plan on drawing Granger in her grim reaper attire which will be heavily sugar skull inspired, as well as Cedrick with Frl. Flicka in her Hellhound form (she turns into a Hellhound only once a year around Halloween). — #autodesksketchbook #malecharacter #digitalart #digitaldrawing #digitalillustration #digitalink #digitalinking #originalcharacterart #originalcharacter #skullmask #grimreaper #blackandwhite #halftone #glasses #skull #hat #man #animestyle #mangastyle #diadelosmuertos

Richard vs. Johannes Faustuz at the same age (23). - I haven’t done a #charactersheet of these two guys together, especially since Richard would not be alive when his son was 23. Next one I probably should draw is either one comparing Cedrick with his father and grandfathers (Cedrick has been told he looks just like Richard or a younger Erik) when they were his age (14-15), or Sigrid vs. Johannes Faustuz to show how much he takes after her (of the two, Faustuz really looks more like his mother but with his father’s coloring - especially with his hair long). These can be a lot of fun to draw when looking at fashion over time and making sure some slight details are showing (Faustuz has the same hairline as his mother, Richard’s nose is slightly upturned, etc.) — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #malecharacter #malecharacters #originalcharacterart #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #autodesksketchbook #characterdesign #fatherandson #fatherson

Room No. 13 - This suite is where Richard stays as his second home away from Kiel, located in Copenhagen and owned by distant relatives of the Kasper Family (Olaf’s cousin Erna and her son Dagfinnr). The hotel is also walking distance from Sigrid’s home/Aina’s flower shop, making it a convenient location for Richard and Sigrid to hide away from disapproving eyes - mainly her schoolmates and teachers (today people would be really concerned if a 16-year-old girl was dating a 23-year-old guy, but in 1980... probably just a shrug from most [large age gaps were more common in the past], but definitely a closer look from people who don’t understand their unique relationship; Sigrid was immediately expelled from school when her secret marriage was revealed, despite skipping a grade and having top scores; as a Kasper, she was able to finish her education at home). — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #autodesksketchbook #animestyle #originalcharacters #malecharacter #femalecharacter #couple #hotelroom #bed #intimatemoment #pixaloop

I ended up making both colored and black & white versions. Animated too.🙃 — Richard giving Sigrid his mother’s black crystal skull necklace. - His mother Ida never wore it and left it behind in Richard’s room when she left the family for a younger lover, rejecting her role as matriarch of the Kasper estate; the necklace makes Sigrid the new lady in charge. — The Kasper Family’s emblem is a black skull. Being connected with Death, recruited over the centuries to kill rogue monsters (and occasionally humans), and hired by questionable people to provide knowledge of the occult, the black skull is an appropriate symbol of the family’s dark history and a physical reminder of what happens to anything/anyone that crosses their path. It’s also the nickname for the current patriarch of the Kasper estate (Olaf Kasper, who’s still alive). - A necklace with a hand-carved black crystal skull is the Kasper heir’s ultimate symbol of love, swearing his unconditional devotion until Death separates him from his partner. —— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #autodesksketchbook #pixaloop #animation #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #femalecharacter #malecharacter #couple #mangastyle #animestyle #frauv8_ocs

Glimpse into the dark side of the Kaspers’ family business... I don’t usually draw them in the act of dealing with monsters and stuff related to Death. Richard just got rid of a Siren unfortunately in front of Sigrid. Even though she’s also involved with the world of the mythical and occult, she’s an “herbal healer” (euphemism for “Witch“) like her mother Aina who prefers not killing creatures no matter how rouge they’ve become (they use potions instead as repellent and cures); Richard is well aware how sensitive she is when she sees something dead (she cries over wilted flowers), trying his best to shield her from his work as much as possible. - As monster slayers and grim reapers, Kaspers try their best to not let their significant others have to witness their work if they’re not involved with the same type of business. Freyja is involved with occult weapons making, so she enjoys working with her husband Faustuz as much as possible to see how effective her family’s handiwork is against monsters and the occasional human. Yoko was indifferent when Heinrich resumed the job of reaping with his father Olaf after Richard died - until he brought Faustuz to assist them at only age five (Yoko was extremely pissed - Heinrich never had their son Hansel fight for his life against monsters, so why would he do that to his brother’s only child?). — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #lineart #halftone #autodesksketchbook #sketchbookautodesk #animestyle #couple #malecharacter #femalecharacter #originalcharacter #originalcharacters

Floral Shirt & Strawberry Dress. (idk what their son would wear if it’s the whole family, lol) Also a combination of hard and soft brushes (still prefer hard brushes because it’s the closest thing to drawing with an actual pen in sketchbooks). The color scheme also screams California (it’s literally these colors year-round, especially SoCal). - This was originally was supposed to be another Bio 101 highlight pic with Freyja making a surprise appearance as Hr. Dr. Kasper is teaching his online class cell division/reproduction (awkward), but it got more detailed over time and turned out like this. ——— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #digitalsketch #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #autodesksketchbook #animestyle #originalcharacters #characterart #femalecharacter #malecharacter #couple #green #yellow #pink #fashion #floralshirt #strawberrydress #blonde #blond #manbun #frauv8_ocs

Another point of view of “The Doghouse”. I couldn’t choose which version, so I just put all three in one post with the line art (4 slides total). - With Freyja using his personal study for her live videos and blogs, Hr. Dr. Kasper teaches Biology 101 using an old iPad Pro with Zoom in the indoor patio room where all the critters and houseplants reside (both agreed that their bedroom is a place that stays private). It’s almost a 💯% guarantee that at least one critter will make an appearance during class sessions, especially the family cat Klimt. See if you can find: •Faustuz’s favorite mug •Tricia Williams •Fritz the Wolpertinger •A Dachshund •A Doberman •Richard and Sigrid •A cell diagram •A copy of Freyja’s magazine — #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #lineart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #man #cat #houseplants #desk #room #mangastyle #animestyle #blackandwhite #color frauv8_ocs
