This guy has LOTS of glasses. He normally prefers Aviators in tribute to his uncle Heinrich, but occasionally Hr. Dr. Kasper likes to show off his inner diva with the bold oversized frames (think Edna from “The Incredibles”). The other reason for his obsession with glasses is because he was bullied as a boy and constantly broke them in fights; now that he’s all grown up and able to afford anything he wants, he sticks to the practical items he can use multiple times - plus it never hurts to have spares when Freyja likes borrowing them as an accessory. Faustuz has heterochromia, and his green right eye is normally impaired unless he uses it to detect monsters and accesses various situations; he does goes without glasses in occasions, but at mental and metabolic expense - which explains why Faustuz constantly drinks black coffee and eats sweet snacks like Baumkuchen. - Personally, I like wearing glasses.🤓 They’re fashionable and you can change them whenever you want. Also, I like guys in glasses (one reason why I love my husband 🥰). — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #animestyle #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #animation #malecharacter #man #glasses #heterochromia #frauv8_ocs

You voted for the Daddies. Here they are in matching outfits! 😊 Each of their shirts have a flower and corresponding color based on that flower - Johannes Faustuz has the Cornflower; Tyrone has the Magnolia. It seems like a trend right now to use Pantone swatches and RBG/CMYK/Hex color codes on pics, so I did it here (you can see it better on the close-ups). Also, they’re wearing face masks since it’s now the new normal - and they can be fashionable depending on color, fabric, and style. - I might do the other sketch now this one is finished, but there’s always something else in mind. ——— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacters #men #flowers #cornflower #magnolia #facemask #tshirt #tshirtdesign #fashion #matchingoutfits #animestyle #frauv8_ocs #pink #blue #brown #white #yellow

Eh... Felt like making another one of these mock-up fashion magazine covers - this time with Papa Kasper (a.k.a. Mr. Ström). Got some Steve Jobs vibes with the black and glasses, lol. - He’s been in the background of Freyja’s live blogs from home, getting fans vocal on her social media to talk more about her husband. Freyja immediately got busy fixing up Johannes Faustuz by trimming his hair, powdering his face, and dressing him up in all black for a quick photo shoot to use in her May magazine issue. - Faustuz doesn’t mind getting involved with his wife’s work as long as it doesn’t get invasive and interferes with his own career - which is exactly why he uses his pseudonym “Jonah Fritz Ström” for these occasions. But Rufus McClaine, a photojournalist, is constantly trying to find out Mr. Ström’s true identity; from investigations he knows that Erik Ström never had a son, and that Freyja only has four male cousins, not five, she could of married - therefore Freyja is really Erik’s biological daughter, and she didn’t marry within the family but someone who’s of lower social class. - “DER MODISCHE” (“The Fashionable One”) is the name of Freyja’s magazine. Last slide shows the last mock-cover I made (which isn’t as good looking back at it); eventually one might be made for Cedrick or Erik Ström next, or even another one of Freyja.🤷🏻‍♀️ —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #sketchbookautodesk #animestyle #originalcharacters #characterart #characterdesign #characterstudy #malecharacter #fashion #magazinecover #blackandwhite #frauv8_ocs

It’s #internationalnursesday! Yay for nurses! - My grandma (Dad’s mom) was a nurse, and lots of aunties are/were nurses (I’m half Filipina; it’s a stereotype for Filipinos and other Asians to be nurses, doctors, pharmacists, and dentists but it’s so~ true😅). Despite having nurses on both sides of the family, I don’t have enough empathy and patience with people to be one (I’ve had people say I look like one, especially now with masks, headbands, and my oversized shirts and Adidas jerseys which resembles scrubs); if I had money for medical school, I’d probably be a geneticist, textbook illustrator, or maybe even a coroner or forensic anthropologist (I actually liked dissecting dead things and looking at bones; it’s sick living people that freak me out the most). - Nurses are often in the shadows of their doctor counterparts, but they’re often the ones doing all the grunt work and checking up on the patients, making them feel better and less afraid; nurses are also mostly female, making them super women. - Kimiko Abe is the Kaspers’ assigned nurse when they’re working in Los Angeles; when they’re back home in Kiel, it’s Hansel - making it a Kasper trifecta. Kimiko is petite, often tries pulling off work she’s not quite ready for, and gets so scared that she often hides behind Hr. Dr. Kasper, but she’s very compassionate and does everything she can to put smiles on patients’ faces. Hansel is quick jotting down data and so skilled at drawing blood that patients barely feel a thing; the only thing that gets on Hr. Dr. Kasper’s nerves is when his cousin starts flirting with their patients (Hansel has been married three times, and had numerous failed relationships over the years; the last thing Faustuz would want is both nurses meeting each other because he knows Hansel would be all over Kimiko). - Anyway, we can’t hug our nurses, but we can cheer them on and help out by making masks, gowns, and button headbands for them. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #autodesksketchbook #animestyle #originalcharacters #characterart #femalecharacter #malecharacters #nurse #doctor #men #man #woman #pink #green #white #blue #frauv8_ocs

Hr. Dr. Kasper is smiling under that mask; that’s not normal.😟 He’s really excited and hoping Tyrone will appreciate putting some effort in dressing up for his wife Asia in their date night. And he’s got the suit in Asia’s favorite color (it was mentioned when they went to Freyja’s lingerie boutique for Valentine’s Day). - Tyrone has mentioned that he’s always been impressed with Johannes Faustuz’s wardrobe when he’s not wearing black or green scrubs and wrinkled khakis and collared shirts for work; Faustuz admits that he just lets his wife Freyja pick out his outfits for the day and just wears them, even if he questions about their practicality and if his clothes make him look like a clown (he prefers to wear the bare basics when he’s not working: tanks, t-shirts, boxers, joggers, and sweatpants). ——— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacters #men #animestyle #frauv8_ocs

It can’t get any more stereotypical SoCal than this - a couple wearing fashionable activewear with their dogs. Add masks and sunglasses to hide one’s identity... Yep. - Freyja and Johannes Faustuz are out walking their dogs Freud and Frl. Flicka early in the morning to avoid a certain someone (Rufus McClaine, a photojournalist from the same media company Freyja works for) who’s always trying to get a photo of them together for the press. Peoples really wanna know who’s the elusive “Jonah Fritz Ström” more so since Freyja has been hosting her show from home and he can be seen in the background, especially when he’s home from work. — I’m still feeling exhausted, but I’ll finish up the “Mother’s Day” arc sometime this month. As for MerMay... eh... I might draw a mermaid somewhere?🤷🏻‍♀️ It’s not like I can go anywhere to get inspiration and recharge; I’m also suffering from lack of sleep with my work schedule currently being at night and roofers banging around during the day.😒🥱😑 ——— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #digitalsketch #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #lineart #autodesksketchbook #animestyle #originalcharacters #characterart #femalecharacter #malecharacter #couple #man #woman #dogs #dachshund #doberman #walking #walkingthedog #activewear #frauv8_ocs

Quick pic: Cedrick Kasper and Stern the Amabie. - Like his mother Freyja, Cedrick likes an occasional cup of lingonberry and elderflower tea imported from Sweden (Johannes Faustuz is more of a coffee guy, but will take a cup of tea if offered to him; the Herr Doktor is especially fond of rose green tea just how his aunt Yoko makes it). - Stern is fond of her new home with the Kaspers, getting along well with the other creatures, especially Rosemarie the Fairy and fellow Yōkai Junko the Hyōsube. She’s very happy being with any family member since all of them are interested with literature, art, and other things intellectual. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #animestyle #teacup #mythicalcreature #yokai #amabie #malecharacter #originalcharacter #frauv8_ocs

Freyja working from home. Chibi style. - Each episode is usually a challenge for three people to make fashion out of unconventional items in one day; since she’s now stuck at home, her show has become focused more on what projects she’s been up to for herself and the family. Freyja’s current challenge to her viewers is to make and donate masks, gowns, and button headbands for doctors and nurses at the hospital where her husband works. - With the quarantine, Asia has been binge watching her favorite show and watching Freyja’s live-streams. Tricia and Queenie already know about Freyja being Hr. Dr. Kasper’s wife and Cedrick’s mother since the Meerjungfrau incident, but Asia has been speechless finally knowing the man she despises the most is married to the woman who inspires her. ——— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacters #femalecharacter #malecharacter #woman #man #boy #girl #cat #chibi #chibistyle #kawaii #cute #afropuffs #stayhome #workfromhome #workathomemom #frauv8_ocs

Oh my...🤭 It’s another one of these colorful steamy moments with these two. Don’t swipe right to the end if you don’t want to see the full versions.❌ Just stop.🛑 You’ve been warned.⚠️ (but I’m sure I’ll still get a few 😤 despite the warnings) - The original color scheme is a tropical one, making it perfect for an intimate scene; the other version in blue, dark and secretive. But Papa Ström won’t allow them to play much longer - he doesn’t want to see his daughter with her husband in any way. (Erik never liked Johannes Faustuz from the start; he always thought of the doctor as a quack and not of proper upbringing to marry his daughter, but it’s really because he’s jealous that he’s not as strong as his son-in-law when it comes to fighting monsters) — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #animestyle #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #femalecharacter #couple #man #woman #intimatemoment #green #yellow #orange #frauv8_ocs

Finally finished!🌸 I had to wait after work to add in the final touches before posting it up. - It’s been HOT this week!🥵 It feels like Summer, which led me to draw this pic since it’s flowery, has vibrant colors, and sun hats. ☀️ Freyja is carrying freshly picked peonies to decorate the house while Johannes Faustuz has red calla lilies to plant in her garden (he hates the sun and heat; she loves being outside, despite getting sunburned within 10 minutes). - Freyja has really been enjoying having her husband to help out with projects around the house since his suspension, but word has come out that elective surgeries are coming back to the hospital - which means he’ll be able to work again sooner than expected. With Papa Kasper operating again, Mama is going to focus her attention on spending more time with their son Cedrick and her father Erik. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #digitalsketch #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #lineart #autodesksketchbook #animestyle #originalcharacters #characterart #femalecharacter #malecharacter #couple #man #woman #plants #flowers #sunhat #frauv8_ocs #pink

The Kaspers’ house based in Southern California, somewhere around Los Angeles. It does have a second level that’s basically a loft and attic used for storage, nothing else important. - If you zoom in the Garage, you can see what kind of vehicle each parent drives (Papa Ström has a motorcycle, Freyja has a Volvo SUV, Hr. Dr. Kasper has an old VW Beatle); Cedrick is only 14/15, so obviously he can’t drive yet (there’s three bikes available; the shopping bike is pink with a basket and crate installed, lol). — Slide 2: Cedrick studying at the Nook’s table. - Slide 3: Cedrick playing games in the Living Room when he should be in the Game Room (the Living Room has a large projection screen from the ceiling). - Slide 4: Cedrick’s Bedroom. - Slide 5: Freyja enjoying a bath in the Master Bathroom. - Slide 6: The Laundry Room. - Slide 7: The Kitchen. - Slide 8: The Master Bedroom. - Slide 9: Hr. Another “monster” for Papa Kasper to get rid of; his method might be a bit overkill using hellfire, but his wife will be able to wash up in peace. - This actually happened to me yesterday morning - a tiny spider went down right next to me while washing my face.🤣 It’s not the first time it’s happened to me either - I even had daddy-long-legs spiders drop down while showering!😱 I don’t like killing things, but scaring me like that - yeah, it needs to go. ———— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #comic #originalcharacters #blackandwhite #animestyle #malecharacters #men #femalecharacter #woman #spidertroubles #frauv8_ocs

Selfie time!📸 Except nowadays you can’t really do selfies with friends.😑 But I guess the closest thing to one now would be a FaceTime or Zoom screenshot, lol. - Johannes Faustuz and Tyrone normally would be seen together often chatting at work and occasional bar nights out, but things changed immediately with the pandemic. Faustuz got suspended from work, leaving poor Tyrone behind at the hospital (his ward was reassigned to triage so he’s not able to perform any surgeries as usual, had a mental breakdown while treating a patient [Death was whispering in his ear nonstop, as well as having flashbacks of how and when his uncle Heinrich died], and the boss Dr. DeValeur knows that he’s a reaper). Faustuz has a ton of guilt not being able to help out in person, but he’s been in touch with his work buddy telling him that he can eat whatever snacks and drinks he has left in his office refrigerator, where he has extra supplies for Tyrone to use (they wear the same glove size), and not to forget to water his plant while he’s gone. “Once all this is over, I’ll treat you for a round of the best beer from home.” —— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacters #men #friends #blackandwhite #mangastyle #halftone #frauv8_ocs
