The last one: Faustuz’s fantasy design; he would also have a robe (black or white) to cover up, completing his Reaper/Doctor look. Last slide shows the family all together in one pic. - “ Fantasy Concept: Faustuz Kasper •Necromancer Mage •Human/Elf Hybrid •Son of Death - •Age: 40 •Blood Type: AB •Height: 195cm/6’5” •Weight: 75kg/165lb - Frau-Sama’s Notes: Faustuz’s outfit was inspired by Medieval plague doctors and shamans; he wears earthy, dull colors to show his clan’s connection with Death himself. His weapon of choice is a scythe. “ —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #sketchbookautodesk #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #characterdesign #charactersheet #fantasy #fantasyart #malecharacter #blond #skull #scythe #mage #necromancer #frauv8_ocs

Freyja’s fantasy design. As a warrior, she’s not a woman to mess with - especially if her boys are involved. - “ Fantasy Concept: Freyja Ström •Viking Warrior •Magical Human (Golan) •Daughter of the “Mad King” - •Age: 39 •Blood Type: A •Height: 170cm/5’7” •Weight: 60kg/130lb - Frau-Sama’s Notes: Freyja’s outfit was inspired by ancient Viking and Gaelic attire; she wears royal blue and purple since she is a warrior princess. •REPOST EDIT: I had complaints about the original version, so I had his collar changed to solid gold. You can see the original on the 2nd slide for yourself, but I’ll have to put a ⚠️ disclaimer since someone got triggered. ——————————————— It’s been ages since I’ve drawn a fantasy version of any of the Kaspers; of the three, Cedrick’s design is the simplest to draw, but also possibly the most controversial because he has a white imperial naval uniform. Comment below if you want me to draw his parents next (Freyja’s design is the most elaborate; Faustuz’s look always changes slightly each time I draw his fantasy design). - For those who can’t read my cursive: “ Fantasy Concept: Cedrick Kasper •Necromancer Mage •Hybrid Pedigree (Elf/Human) •Grandson of the “Mad King” - •Age: 15 •Blood Type: AB •Height: 180cm/6’0” •Weight: 65kg/140lb - Frau-Sama’s Notes: Cedrick’s outfit was inspired by old imperial naval and fascist uniforms; the black and white coloring resembles skeleton bones, while the red beads are for blood. His weapon is an oversized scalpel. “ —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #sketchbookautodesk #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #characterdesign #charactersheet #fantasy #fantasyart #malecharacter #blond #skull #ghost #frauv8_ocs

Cedrick Kasper and Tricia Williams; I included a masked version and line art for anyone who wants to color it in. - Normally they would be meeting up for tutoring sessions at the boba cafe twice a week, but with the pandemic going on, they’ll occasionally see each other whenever Cedrick is walking his dogs down the street. Tricia doesn’t like Cedrick, but she was more than eager to pick up a drink or two at the boba cafe whenever he tutored her for Algebra and Biology; nowadays she’s just glad that he’s someone who’s not her aunt Asia or little cousin Queenie, but she still doesn’t like hanging out with a boy four years younger than her. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #lineart #animestyle #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #femalecharacter #teenagers #boy #girl #masks #fashion #red #frauv8_ocs

Happy Easter!🐇 Papa and Mama Kasper are all dressed up to celebrate in style. - Couldn’t decide which one looked better (1 or 2), so I have both with the original line art. Another quick flashback doodle of these two lovey-dovey people. Or is it three with a baby on the way? - Papa Kasper didn’t always have long hair either; it wasn’t until after becoming a father and full-fledged Surgical Oncologist he kept his long locks. And he’s got mismatched slippers - something Cedrick does now that he’s a junior doctor. - Freyja still wore heels even when she was expecting, just more stable and less high ones as Cedrick grew bigger. And as always, she loves wrapping herself up with her husband. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #animestyle #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #femalecharacter #couple #doctor #woman #expecting #frauv8 #frauv8_ocs

Freyja looking outside. - It’s been really rainy here in California for the last several days, making quarantine even more drab. Watched “ONWARD”; it’s a cute film about brotherly love.👨‍❤️‍💋‍👨 I have a younger brother, so a few things did hit me (especially with having a sibling around all the time), but the film is brother-brother/father-sons themed, so a lot wasn’t as relatable (obviously a lot of male bonding). Still a good movie. - Anyway, it’s not National Siblings Day yet, but I doodled this pic after watching “ONWARD”. Biologically Johannes Faustuz is an only child, but his parents died when he was a baby; his uncle Heinrich and aunt Yoko adopted him and raised him alongside his older cousins Hansel and Hannah. At first his cousins (and aunt) weren’t happy to have another kid around; Faustuz was teased mercilessly for not looking like his cousins (who are half Japanese, which is why he speaks Japanese fluently), as well as being so much younger than them (Hansel is 8 years older; Hannah is 6 years older). But after Heinrich’s death, the three siblings grew closer sharing memories of the man who raised them; if nostalgia hits hard, Hansel and especially Hannah would randomly hug Faustuz since he looks very much like their father. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #animestyle #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacters #femalecharacter #family #cousins #siblings #frauv8 #frauv8_ocs

At work, Johannes Faustuz is called “The White Grim Reaper” by his coworkers behind his back; he got his nickname because of his unnatural accuracy for predicting how long a patient has before passing on. Well, they’re not wrong - Hr. Dr. Kasper is technically one, just not in a traditional sense (all Kaspers are associated with Death, which is why their family symbol is the black skull). - Faustuz prefers saving his fellow humans, killing monsters gone rouge, and chasing after ghosts who refuse to pass on; but lately Death has been constantly following him and whispering in his ear nonstop to the point he snapped at work. Normal people obviously can’t see Death himself, so coworkers seeing Faustuz randomly swatting and screaming at nothing at this time would instantly make it look like he’s delirious and gone insane - so he’s been sent home until further notice. Death still wants his souls, so even if Faustuz is at home, he still goes out in occasion to pick up a clingy spirit or two. —— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #man #grimreaper #death #blackandwhite #mangastyle #halftone #frauv8_ocs

Freyja and Johannes Faustuz enjoying some sunshine after being cooped up indoors. And Papa Kasper has pants this time while the wife is wearing her own nightshirt. (Lately many of my pics have been featuring windows...) — But isn’t Faustuz supposed to be at the hospital and staying away from his family to prevent them from getting the virus? Well, it has to do something with what Kaspers are in this version of the world where mythical creatures and monsters actually do exist (the last name is kinda a hint; another hint is the fact Frl. Flicka is a Hellhound). ———— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #drawing #lineart #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #man #femalecharacter #woman #couple #indoors #window #sunshine #stayathome #pixaloop #frauv8_ocs

Erik Ström isolated from the rest of the family, regardless of which timeline (Freyja stuck in Sweden with her father and cousins, or Erik with his daughter, son-in-law, and grandson in quarantine in California). He’s not that old (late 60s) - but definitely old enough to get really sick if he’s not careful. Johannes Faustuz might not be fond of his father-in-law, but as a doctor, he’s very concerned about the old man’s health keeping his distance tenfold in the guest room/suite. - Papa Ström has been working remotely with his shipping business hectic since people are ordering essential supplies nonstop. Luckily he has his daughter Freyja around to keep him focused and able to fix his technical problems (he’s not very good with mobile devices and apps). —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #drawing #lineart #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #man #indoors #window #stayathome #blue #pixaloop #frauv8_ocs

The Kaspers’ laundry room done with a vibrant color scheme.🧺 - Freyja was out of bed clothes, so she took her husband’s last pair of clean pajamas for the night; she hoped to get laundry done before he finished showering. But it didn’t take long for Johannes Faustuz to catch up with her; only in underwear, he had to bypass several sleeping creatures in the hallway, a watchful father-in-law in the guest room, and a teenage son playing video games on the living room TV - without being seen. (Faustuz just wanted to tell Freyja that she could of left the pants for him while she wears his shirt; he might as well as wait for a pair of sweatpants to finish drying before going back) - Line art on the last slide for anyone to color in. It’s #aprilfoolsday today, yet it’s just another somber day in quarantine/social distancing (I’m still working 3 days a week, so yes, I’m an essential worker risking my health for people’s “entertainment” providing graphics on screen). - Something seems off with Cedrick this time - any guesses? (If you’ve been following me for a while, you’d notice it in regards to this OC’s clothing preferences) His hair is getting a bit shaggy too since no barber shops or salons are open with lockdown. And all three pets are with him, which doesn’t happen often. ——— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #drawing #lineart #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #boy #teenager #teenageboy #teenboy #pets #dogs #cat #stayathome #frauv8_ocs #blue #pink #yellow

If he’s not busy with medical work or chasing after monsters and his pets, you’ll find Johannes Faustuz reading books just like when he was a boy (he’s reading fairy tales by Franz Xavier Von Schönweth). It’s the love of reading books that brought Freyja and Faustuz together despite their social class and language barriers when they first met as children. It’s one reason why they named their son Cedrick (different spelling from the original “Cedric”), after literary characters from “Ivanhoe”, “Little Lord Fauntleroy”, and “Harry Potter” (the other reason is the meaning of the name: bounty, love, powerful king). — #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #femalecharacter #couple #man #woman #cat #readinginbed #blackandwhite #mangastyle #halftone #frauv8_ocs

Another pic of Cedrick stuck at home like the majority of people in the world right now. — My job was abruptly canceled today due to county orders. It was pretty dramatic, especially having to type up and display the official statement for the world to see. 😐 But luckily somebody out there nearby needed a graphics operator for broadcasting, so I’m not totally out of work yet (it’s only a matter of time before that county decides the same thing). TV is considered an essential service, and I’m in the industry, so yes, I know I’m risking my health so that people are “informed and entertained” while they’re stuck at home (also, no work means no money for food and rent 🥺). So if you ain’t doctors, nurses, police officers, first responders, mail people, store workers, restaurant workers, utilities people, car repairer, and others assigned as “essential”, STAY HOME. We’re providing you services to make your sheltered lives more convenient and comfortable; staying home makes it safer for us by making it less likely to get the virus en route to work. Also, be nice to service people; they may not be doctors/nurses treating the sick, but they’re also in the front lines risking their lives to help the rest of society hunker down and stay safe. (that’s my rant for the day) —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #drawing #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #boy #teenager #teenageboy #teenboy #indoors #stayathome #blue #pixaloop #frauv8_ocs

Freyja and Frl. Flicka in their new morning routine.
