Which background color you like best on Cedrick and his father Johannes Faustuz? ❤️💙💛 Comment below!🤗 - I ended up with red, though I really like blue just as much since it really contrasts with the Kaspers’ blond hair; red just draws you in like a hummingbird. Yellow is nice being monochromatic, but it’s a bit too plain and their eyes stand out too much - I’d have to desaturate them into more of a grey-green color. — #digitaldrawing #digitalart #ipadart #ipaddrawing #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacters #fatherson #blond #glasses #animestyle #mangastyle #red #blue #yellow #black #white #halftone

Something summery and 90s-inspired with Cedrick, Tricia, and Carmen. - Tyrone likes to shoo Cedrick away with his niece Tricia every time she shows up wanting extra allowance money for boba drinks and mall shopping. Tricia and Carmen don’t like Cedrick hanging around not only because he’s a boy, but he’s very awkward and can be a bit of an annoying walking encyclopedia spouting facts in relation to whatever they’re doing. The only reason why they keep him around is that he has a lot of allowance money - so mean.😑 — #digitaldrawing #digitalart #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #femalecharacters #teenagers #boy #girls #pink

Somehow Johannes Faustuz managed to escape the wolpertingers to get turnips at the local store. If the whole family is at the store, they need to hurry before Mama Wolpertinger decides to go kaiju outside their garden. - Note📝: Despite being very close and attached to his father, Cedrick rarely calls him “Papa”, “Vati,” “Dad,” “Old Man,” or anything else out of respect. Faustuz, on the other hand, often calls his son by his nickname “Wunderkind.” — #digitaldrawing #digitalart #ipadart #ipaddrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #originalcharacterdrawing #malecharacters #autodesksketchbook #fatherson #turnips #animestyle #mangastyle

Meanwhile, Cedrick has finally caught up with the fairy. Freyja and Cedrick are looking for their missing family member, and they find his glasses with a fairy ring. The pink fairy next to the Herr Doktor’s shattered glasses. - She’s one little vengeful sprite towards the Kaspers after being attacked by the family cat; her wings have cutout scars as a result from the surgery to preserve her ability to fly. Also as a fairy, she enjoys causing trouble and watching the chaos in action. But if she’s not careful, she’ll get caught up with the commotion. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #animestyle #lineart #glasses #fairy #mythologicalcreature #orange #pink #cyan

So that’s what scared Klimt away. Getting rid of Freyja’s garden pests isn’t going to be an easy job for Johannes Faustuz this time. — #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #man #wolpertinger #blackandwhite #manga #comic #mangastyle #halftone #mythologicalcreature

Different art stages of this pic of Cedrick and Klimt. - It wouldn’t be Cedrick if he doesn’t have something that’s mismatched - this case his socks are opposite colors. His oversized sweatshirt also has the symbol of the black skull, the Kasper family’s emblem in the fantasy concept. - The color scheme has an earthy vibe, so nothing too vibrant aside from the expression notations and text. — #digitaldrawing #digitalart #ipadart #ipaddrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #lineart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #originalcharacterdrawing #malecharacter #teenageboy #cat #pottedplants #animestyle

Papa Kasper fell and cracked his glasses, so he’s really pissed off now. He was hoping that the family cat would take care of the creature, but the cat is running away. I did some coloring and adjusting to the original line art (last slide shows original expressions). Pretty amazing what slight redrawing of mouths can do.😬 - All three Kaspers together looking over the miniature apples Freyja bred herself; she calls them “Idun’s Golden Apples.” It’s not known whether these apples really preserve one’s youth or keeps doctors away. (Cedrick and Johannes Faustuz are both doctors; would that mean apples to them are like garlic to vampires?🤣) - Anyway, some sleep and after one more day of work, I’ll try to get the next page done. — #digitaldrawing #digitalart #ipadart #ipaddrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #lineart #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #originalcharacterdrawing #malecharacters #femalecharacter #autodesksketchbook #family #fathermotherson #pottedplant #animestyle #frauv8_ocs

Mama Kasper is extremely protective of her garden. Doesn’t matter if it’s cute or not - if it’s eating her plants, Freyja is going to get rid of it. And often she has Papa Kasper do the killing while she repairs her garden. - The Skvader is a bird-rabbit hybrid from an early 20th century Swedish hunting tall tale. Meh... Felt like drawing one of these kind of sketchy pics. It’s pretty much official that Johannes Faustuz is a millennial with how he’s dressed and acts (getting old, but ain’t that old - just like ME!) This version of the Kasper Project also takes place in the near future. - You can actually figure out what year Faustuz would be born on by looking at son’s birthday - Cedrick was born on Friday the 13th of October. The last time we had one was in 2017, and 2006 before that (the year I started becoming invested with this project). If Cedrick was born in 2006, he’d be 15 in 2021; Faustuz would have to be born in 1981. To push it a bit more into the future, if Cedrick was born in 2017, Faustuz would be born in 1992. Whether it’s 1981 or 1992, Papa Kasper is 100% a millennial. — #characterdrawing #malecharacter #originalcharacter #digitalsketch #digitaldrawing #green #purple #red #white #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #man #lineart

#happyfathersday! Here’s poor Papa Kasper with a newborn Cedrick; like many new dads, Johannes Faustuz is freaked out having no idea why his baby is crying. - Just felt like experimenting this time; I might make more stuff like this, but it’s no guarantee since it requires multiple pages lined up just right to create a smooth transition (I used iMovie). — #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #imovieapp #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #man #father #dad #son #baby #crying #blackandwhite #mangastyle #fathersday

Tyrone Williams, Johannes Faustuz Kasper, and Leyon DeValeur - affectionately called “The Daddies” at work obviously because all three are fathers. - Couldn’t decide whether Faustuz looked better with or without glasses for this pic. Cedrick with rose-flavored bubble tea and wearing his home country’s teal-green colors in jacket form. Both are things I LOVE - rose is my favorite boba drink flavor, and I just LOVE that shade of blue-green (it’s my all-time favorite and go-to color). — Anyway, I included the #lineart for anyone who wants to color it - tag it #colorthisinyourstyle_fv8 @frauv8.
