Sigrid and her mother Aina are from Copenhagen, Denmark; Richard is from Kiel, Germany located in Jutland – homeland of the Kasper Family – which borders Denmark (why his T-shirts have ”KIEL” and sailboats on them).
Richard owns an old red Volkswagen Beetle from the late 1960s (making it almost as old as Sigrid), which gets replaced with a new one (c. 1981, making it almost as old as his son Johannes Faustuz) as a wedding gift from his family when he married Sigrid.
Sigrid occasionally wears her boyfriend’s shirts – especially if he had left them in her laundry basket behInd after a visit, or if she forgot to bring extra clothes for a quick weekend trip outside Copenhagen; she’s wearing her school uniform cardigan that has a shield with Danish flag colors.
