Reading Sigrid’s diary
There he is, finally out of the shadows where he prefers. It’s Hr. Dr. Kasper’s turn to read Sigrid’s diary. - Johannes Faustuz mostly heard about his father Richard through his relatives and father-in-law Erik Ström, explaining how he was feared for his red-hot temper and was very efficient with his job as a reaper and monster hunter, but also how much he was a bit of a quack and playboy with the ladies (prior to meeting Sigrid). His grandmother Aina occasionally talks about Sigrid’s childhood, how much Faustuz takes after her as a quiet and observant child, and often mentions how much Sigrid was in love with Richard and was excited to become a mother despite people’s disapproval (she was only 16); Aina would then go silent and start sobbing after being reminded that both Sigrid and Richard are gone, usually hugging him tightly as the only thing left behind for her to cherish. —
