Just a little prick
Ugh... Kimiko isn’t going to be enough to put an IV needle in; she’ll need the other nurse Bernadette to help, and then finally Cedrick to get it in with one go, lol. - I had a bit of a health scare last night that my fiancé had to take me to ER; I’m home from work just for today (doctor’s orders 😞). What happened I was driving home from work, and I had a sudden headache; my right side of my face and right arm was gradually going numb, which is super weird. So just to make sure it wasn’t a stroke or anything else serious, we went to the hospital. What the neurologist and doctor think happened was a complex migraine, in which numbness can occur if triggered; doesn’t help with the stress of commuting and working so many days straight and not sleeping enough - I’m a certified workaholic. - are the worst, yet I’m just so over them at the same time with the number of times I’ve had to be poked and stabbed over the years, lol. I don’t mind shots or blood work, but freaking IVs I absolutely hate. It took not one, not two, BUT THREE PEOPLE to get an IV in me last night; they poked and stabbed both arms, and of course it was the guy who got it in his first stab (I don’t know if it’s just me, but male nurses, doctors, and lab techs seem better with needles; not being sexist, but it’s just personal experience). So my left elbow area has a nice little bruise that’ll be there for some time. *sigh* - Anyway, I’m feeling better now, but they did warn me if it does happen again, I’ll need a MRI done since the CT scans were clear. —
