Tricia Williams and Cedrick Kasper... and Cedrick really looks a lot like his father with that #glare under those #glasses, lol. - They look like they could be a #couple, people often ask, and even Tyrone wishes they would go out on dates, but they’re definitely not a couple. - The biggest source of their tension is that Tricia often skips out in babysitting her little cousin Queenie for hangouts with her bestie Carmen either at the mall or local cafe, leaving her uncle Tyrone calling up Cedrick to cover for her whenever he’s free from work. Cedrick is also a few years younger than Tricia (he’s 15 while she’s 18), making her view him as “little spoiled brat” despite him being taller and a wunderkind completely done with school; she also makes fun of him and Hr. Dr. Kasper, which gets her uncle very nervous. As for Cedrick, he doesn’t think much of her other than irresponsible and capable of doing better if she stops skipping out of babysitting and occasionally school (he tries to help her out with homework, especially since she’s almost done with high school); he tries to avoid her as much as possible to prevent arguments and her teasing, but whenever he does have to be around her, Cedrick tries his best to be as cool-headed like his father. — #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #originalcharacterdrawing #malecharacter #femalecharacter #teenagers #teenageboy #teenagegirl #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #sketchbookautodesk #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #bluejeans #whiteshirt #frauv8_ocs

- Pg. 1: Finished Pg. 2: Line Art (feel free to color in with tag @frauv8) Pg. 3: Rough Sketch Pg. 4: Cleaned Up Line Art Video Pg. 5: Coloring Process Video I think I’m a week too early for #oktoberfest to be posting this, but whatever. Prost! 🍻 (Don’t expect much more German out of me - I’m going to butcher phrases since I haven’t touch it in a long time. Same goes for French. 😅 ) - Anyway, it’s the Kaspers being a bit festive for the celebration: Johannes Faustuz is grumpy as always, Freyja is dressed up in #lederhosen instead of a dirndl, and Cedrick is happy just for the chance for a large cold #stein of #beer. It’s a simple pic, but there’s still quite a bit of attention to detail - mainly Faustuz’s and Cedrick’s shoes (#Puma vs. #Adidas) and the #jersey (it’s the green training jersey without the gold FIFA World Cup patch since France is now the current champion). — #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #originalcharacterdrawing #originalcharacterdesign #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #sketchbookautodesk #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #speeddrawing #speedcoloring #family #familyofthree #fathermotherson #father #mother #son #germany #germany🇩🇪 #german #drinking #drinkingbeer

The Beauty and The Bookworm - Freyja and Johannes Faustuz as children. - Freyja always liked Faustuz ever since they met despite her being a rich pretty girl while he’s a poor orphan boy studying his hardest to become a doctor. As to why she likes him, Faustuz still wonders how he got a beautiful wife when he’s such a geek. Maybe it’s their shared love for books, maybe she had pity for him, or maybe she just has the hots for nerdy boys, lol. - He’s older than her by about half a year, but at age 10, Faustuz is much shorter than Freyja. Because of his small size, Freyja thinks she can make him grow up faster like a plant by giving him lots of love and food; of course, it just takes a little longer time for him to catch up compared to the other boys. In 3 years he’ll be as tall as her, 5 years he’ll start getting taller than her, and 8 years he’ll be so tall that she’ll miss being able to snatch him up into her arms so easily - it’ll be the opposite with him sweeping her off her feet when they get married. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #speeddrawing #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #originalcharacterdrawing #children #boygirl #girlboy #boy #girl #couple #childhoodsweethearts #hug #hugging #bookworm #beautyandthebookworm

Another one, lol. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Definitely a test run for #inktober. - Wanted to do something different with Johannes Faustuz’s hair this time, and he has a Jared Leto vibe with this style. Faustuz decided to wear one of his son’s sweaters; I almost had him wear a cartoon character sweater (which are on trend right now for young men), but a multi-textured top is a bit closer to his tastes plus it’s a bit more appropriate for his age. Also some #rosecoloredglasses to top things off. — #originalcharacterart #originalcharacter #malecharacter #drawing #inkdrawing #inkart #inkartwork #pilotpen #midliners #goldgelpen #permamentmarker #moleskine #moleskinecahier #sketchbook #leaves #fallleaves #acorns #glasses #longhair

Ugh... Kimiko isn’t going to be enough to put an IV needle in; she’ll need the other nurse Bernadette to help, and then finally Cedrick to get it in with one go, lol. - I had a bit of a health scare last night that my fiancé had to take me to ER; I’m home from work just for today (doctor’s orders 😞). What happened I was driving home from work, and I had a sudden headache; my right side of my face and right arm was gradually going numb, which is super weird. So just to make sure it wasn’t a stroke or anything else serious, we went to the hospital. What the neurologist and doctor think happened was a complex migraine, in which numbness can occur if triggered; doesn’t help with the stress of commuting and working so many days straight and not sleeping enough - I’m a certified workaholic. - #needles are the worst, yet I’m just so over them at the same time with the number of times I’ve had to be poked and stabbed over the years, lol. I don’t mind shots or blood work, but freaking IVs I absolutely hate. It took not one, not two, BUT THREE PEOPLE to get an IV in me last night; they poked and stabbed both arms, and of course it was the guy who got it in his first stab (I don’t know if it’s just me, but male nurses, doctors, and lab techs seem better with needles; not being sexist, but it’s just personal experience). So my left elbow area has a nice little bruise that’ll be there for some time. *sigh* - Anyway, I’m feeling better now, but they did warn me if it does happen again, I’ll need a MRI done since the CT scans were clear. — #digitaldrawing #digitalart #ipadprodrawing #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacters #femalecharacter #malecharacter #doctor #nurse

Something I haven’t posted up yet - #workdrawing testing the cheap Crayola blending markers I got. Nice colors, blendability is mediocre; I’m going to stick to Master, Ohuhu, Hobby Colour, or Copic for blendables, but for a young child learning, they’re a okay start (I’d recommend Ohuhu). - And it’s a kid Cedrick and his father Johannes Faustuz. I should make like a pic with all the crazy hairstyles and haircuts these two had over the years, lol. — #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacters #fatherson #handdrawing #handdrawn #crayola #crayolablendingmarkers #oolypen #frixion #frixionpen #sketchbook #notebook #leuchtturm1917 #penart #markerart #markerartwork #inkart #inkartwork

It’s #grandparentsday on the 9th. 👵🏻🧓🏼👴🏽 My dad had me talk with my grandma earlier today right after I got home from work, lol. - For today’s #digitaldrawing, it’s Baby Cedrick and his #grandfather Erik Ström (Freyja’s father). — #digitalart #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #autodesksketchbook #sketchbookautodesk #sketchbookapp #originalcharacters #grandpa #grandparent #grandson #babyboy #baby #malecharacter

Hr. Dr. Kasper wearing the #heartshirt at work - Part 5. (Maybe the end?) - And finally it’s Cedrick, his teenage son who works with him. And apparently the younger Hr. Dr. Kasper is jealous and wants the shirt for himself, lol. And it looks like he got a haircut - he traded the bun for a bowl for now. - These two often act more like brothers, and with Cedrick quickly catching up with his father in height and starting to sound just like him as his voice matures, people get the two mixed up. So it makes sense they try not to look alike as much as possible, but it doesn’t always work. — #digitalart #digitalartwork #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #autodesksketchbook #sketchbookautodesk #sketchbookapp #originalcharacters #orginalcharacterdrawing #originalcharacterart #doctors #malecharacters #fatherson

Hr. Dr. Kasper wearing the #heartshirt at work - Part 4. (Specifically it’s a #jwandersonheartstripeshirt, lol) - It’s Kimiko Abe the nursing student this time. And what young lady these days wouldn’t be into #kpop (specifically #BTS, lol). Plus Johannes Faustus tries his best to divert her attention back to work instead of his shirt (and admiration for the band). - Kimiko is from Yokohama, Japan studying nursing abroad; she’s extremely shy, skittish, and often is klutzy. She does have a tiny bit of a crush on the Herr Doktor, so often she tries to impress him with little notice; as for the other Hr. Dr. Kasper, she hates Cedrick and is jealous of him for being so perfect with little effort. — #digitalart #digitalartwork #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #autodesksketchbook #sketchbookautodesk #sketchbookapp #originalcharacters #orginalcharacterdrawing #originalcharacterart #doctor #malecharacter #femalecharacter #holdingphone

Hr. Dr. Kasper wearing the #heartshirt at work - Part 3. - It’s his boss and colleague, the hospital director Docteur Leyon DeValuer this time. - The director has been Johannes Faustuz’s mentor since he was a wee med student, and is his partner when it comes to advanced lab work (Cedrick will occasionally help out if he’s not busy with operations or sleeping); the two are co-winners of multiple awards, and in this made up universe, are winners of a Noble prize for developing a treatment for cancer that doesn’t involve chemo. - Dr. DeValuer often treats the Herr Doktor as a son since he’s close in age to his own son Vincent-Claude; but Dr. DeValuer can also turn face on Hr. Dr. Kasper for whatever reason whether it’s for fun, rivalry, or just to see his protégé suffer in misery (i.e. this year’s World Cup was brutal for Faustuz but pure joy for Leyon). - Despite their differences in personalities and nationalities, these two together unite to be the most feared and respected doctors in the hospital: Hr. Dr. Kasper is known for his death glares and strict enforcement of rules, while Dr. DeValuer often sneaks up on people with a cool smile. — #digitalart #digitalartwork #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #autodesksketchbook #sketchbookautodesk #sketchbookapp #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacters #doctors #francejersey

Digital version of an earlier #drawing. - Fantasy Concept: Baby Cedrick casting his first spell - and of course it has to be fire. 🔥 Papa Kasper is super proud raising a wunderkind, but is also terrified to know his baby could destroy everything around him if he’s not careful. — #digitalart #digitalartwork #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #sketchbookapp #autodesksketchbook #sketchbookautodesk #originalcharacter #baby #mage #magehat #hat #firespell

Today’s #workdrawing that was finished at home. - It’s not often Freyja drops by, making many of Hr. Dr. Kasper’s colleagues at the hospital to think his wife is either very sick and dying or even dead from cancer. So when she does randomly show up, it shocks people - “Grumpy Ol’ Hans” not only has a wife who is very much alive, she’s a world-famous supermodel. Also, he dresses a bit nicer when she’s around, lol. — #penart #penartwork #pendrawing #pensketch #erasablepen #erasablepens #blueink #ink #inkart #inkartwork #inkdrawing #sketchbook #leuchtturm1917 #dottednotebook #originalcharacters #originalcharactersdrawing #couple #malecharacter #femalecharacter #hospitalroom

Yesterday’s #workdrawing that was finished at home. - Poor Cedrick - he’s totally outnumbered by girls, which adds to his anxiety being around people closer to his age. Today’s #workdrawing. I plan on cleaning it up, inking, and coloring it digitally on my iPad Pro. - It’s a younger Freyja and Johannes Faustuz. The two always enjoy #reading books together since they were children, and it’s Freyja’s love of British literature that made them choose the name “Cedrick” for their son, though spelled different from the source material. — #pendrawing #penartwork #penart #inkdrawing #inkartwork #inkart #blueink #pilotpen #pen #frixion #frixionpen #frixionball #erasablepen #sketchbook #moleskine #moleskinecahier #originalcharacters #couple #inlove #book #handdrawn

Haven’t done a #digitaldrawing for some time, so here’s one. - And it’s a bit morbid with the older Hr. Dr. Kasper looking so serious with his gloved hand covered in #blood. Today’s #workdrawing. This time I decided to digitally ink and color the #sketch with the #sketchbookautodeskapp in my #ipadpro; normally I would have colored it traditionally, but I wanted to experiment. - Fantasy Concept: Freyja enjoying time with her newborn son Cedrick.
