Freyja and Johannes Faustuz (pseudonym Jonah Fritz) for December’s cover using 2021’s Pantone colors of the year. - Faustuz usually doesn’t like being shown out in public via his wife’s work, but with a pair of red glasses and shiny gold shoes Freyja picked out for him, he actually feels like showing off this time. Cedrick hasn’t been featured for the magazine yet, but Freyja has been itching to have a spread of her son soon. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #autodesksketchbook #animestyle #originalcharacters #characterart #man #woman #malecharacter #femalecharacter #fashion #magazinecover #grey #gray #yellow #black #gold #frauv8_ocs

Spring 1981: Sigrid tending to her mother’s unusual grafted tree while Richard follows and keeps a close eye on her. It’s before Richard left for a three-month-long trip to America (tracking down a rogue monster for a client), leaving Sigrid behind with a big surprise. It’s also one of Aina’s favorite photos of her daughter and son-in-law together she took. When Johannes Faustuz was a child, he would gag at it, rolling his eyes as his grandmother explains it’s most likely the first photo of him inside his mother (or at least right before he was conceived); as an adult, Faustuz still feels uneasy about the fact that his mother was only a teenager when she had him (and died) and that his father might of been a bit of a sleazy guy (considering his parents’ large age gap). Faustuz now looks at the photo with pity, sadness, and anger, wishing he had more time with his mother Sigrid; he’s still disgusted in regards to his father Richard, but has a better understanding of why he married Sigrid. — #autodesksketchbook #pixaloop #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #femalecharacter #couple #man #woman #flowers #floweringtree #tree #blue #yellow #pink

Richard and Sigrid c. 1979-1980 - Richard spoiled Sigrid with numerous gifts and trinkets over the months he visited Aina’s flower shop, hoping to win Sigrid’s heart and treat her with the best care until her death from her father’s curse due in less than two years. Initially Sigrid was cautious and annoyed, especially with him being a foreigner, an older man known for having numerous relationships, and his family’s history. But over time, she grew more curious about him, wondering why he hasn’t pursued another after so long; Sigrid began to personally accept Richard’s offerings, inspecting each one for its detail and authenticity, and even started wearing some of the pieces of jewelry and perfume given to her at high school. It wasn’t until Richard fell seriously ill with Lovesickness, passing out and near death when Sigrid realized how much she actually loved him. Richard had to recover in her room, leading to a more intimate moment and permanently cementing their relationship as a couple. They were engaged February 1981, married in March, and had their only child in December before Sigrid died from her father’s curse. — #malecharacter #femalecharacter #couple #man #woman #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #ipaddrawing #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #flowershop #room #roomaesthetic #yellow #orange #pink #green #blue #white #red #lineart

Another random quick outfit/pose drawing of this guy... Wasn’t sure which expression to do, so I included both. I’m still trying to figure out something more elaborate to draw for the season, but with work and feeling depressed about the state of where I live in comparison to other places in the world, it’s getting harder to look forward to making new things (and my birthday is coming up: it’s on Christmas Eve and 2020 is my “Jesus year” - more reason to hate this year). — #malecharacter #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #characterdesign #fashion #man

It’s pretty obvious I like skeletons and flowers. I’m running out of ideas and inspiration... It’s not Halloween anymore, yet I’m still stuck drawing my characters with body and face paint. Not feeling well with a severe migraine and reeling from watching the election results either. Day 24 Gardener •Overalls •Buttoned Shirt •Sun Hat •Boots •Shovel - Hr. Dr. Kasper takes after his mother Sigrid in regards to plants, especially flowers (he’s also been told that he looks a lot like her, only much taller and blond like his father Richard). Having a green thumb is his only connection with her since she had died soon after he was born; as a child, he would always ask his grandmother Aina about his mother and what plants were her favorites to grow (Hydrangeas, Cornflowers, Irises, and Tulips). Because his lay knowledge of plants, he has set up a large garden for his wife Freyja to enjoy when she’s home from work; lots of little creatures like Rosemarie and her fellow fairies also enjoy staying in the fairy houses set up in the Kaspers’ garden. Johannes Faustuz also grows some vegetables and fruits to feed certain creatures since they can’t easily find their source of food in these modern times (Turnips for Wolpertingers, Eggplants for Hyōsubes, Etc.). — #autodesksketchbook #malecharacter #digitalart #digitaldrawing #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #man #inktober #inktober2020 #clothing #outfit #outfitoftheday #digitalink #gardener

Day 23: Beachwear •Hawaiian Shirt •Shorts •Sandals •Straw Hat - Johannes Faustuz enjoying the sunny beach life of Los Angeles, California. There’s no way he can do the same thing back in Kiel where it’s much cooler, cloudier, windy, and occasionally rainy or snowy in the Autumn. — #autodesksketchbook #malecharacter #digitalart #digitaldrawing #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #man #inktober #inktober2020 #clothing #outfit #outfitoftheday #digitalink

Hr. Dr. Richard Kasper & Sigrid Faustus Copenhagen, Denmark Circa Oct.-Nov. 1980 🇩🇰 - Richard returns from the Kasper Family Estate in Kiel, Germany to reunite with his beloved Sigrid for the weekend; Richard tried to visit Aina’s flower shop/house every week after taking care of family business (soul reaping for Death) and clients who ask for his services to exterminate and/or relocate unwanted creatures, but was often gone up to two-three months at time busy with work. Richard was determined to spend as much time with Sigrid as possible due to her life curse (it was placed by her father, reducing her life span to less than twenty years). Richard was known for wearing a huge oversized grey fur coat during the Fall and Winter months, putting a lot more attention on him whenever he’s around the neighborhood; Sigrid didn’t like the extra attention whenever Richard was around wearing his coat (as well as certain other outfits), especially when people referred her mother as “Witch” and classmates ridiculed her love of video games, being extremely smart, and wearing plain attire. People found them a rather odd couple due to Richard’s questionable occupation/background and Sigrid’s young age, but Sigrid’s mother Aina couldn’t been more happy seeing her daughter have the chance to live her life to the fullest. - As for Richard’s fur coat today, his son Johannes Faustuz inherited it, set aside in the darkest part of his closet; in rare occasions, he will wear it on top of a formal suit when the weather is extremely freezing outside (Hr. Dr. Kasper thinks it’s a gaudy thing to wear, and doesn’t like the fact it’s made of real grey wolf fur). —— #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #malecharacter #femalecharacter #couple #kiss #originalcharacterart #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #red #yellow #brown #black #white

Day 22: Swimwear •Red Swimming Trunks •Sandals •Sunglasses •Sunscreen - He’s normally jogging and walking the dogs around in his spare time to keep in shape. But every now and then, he can be found around the beach testing out the waves with a surfboard, a perk of being a Californian (most of the time). As an oncologist, he always has sunscreen on hand to keep skin cancer away as much as possible and avoid being burned to a crisp. — #autodesksketchbook #malecharacter #digitalart #digitaldrawing #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #man #inktober #inktober2020 #clothing #outfit #outfitoftheday #digitalink

Day 21: Underwear 2 •Briefs - Looks like he’s in a really bad mood today - Johannes Faustuz just lost a bet with his wife Freyja and has to model for an underwear magazine article for her. The dark side of the Herr Doktor revealed as he takes down a rogue monster with a Ström Corporations scythe. It’s gotta be quite a large one for Hr. Dr. Kasper to use a scythe because Kaspers are normally known for using scalpels, syringes, and other unusual surgical tools for soul reaping and monster extermination. - This was a really quick simple drawing, unlike the other pics of him for Inktober 2020.
