1980 when PAC-MAN made his debut outside of Japan. - Ever since she was a toddler, Sigrid has always been a fan of the arcade. She’d always beg her mother Aina for a coin and would play for hours nonstop with that one coin. Her classmates at high school think she’s a dork for liking video games, but little kids at the arcade love watching her play. Sigrid was pissed when she saw her high score on SPACE INVADERS was replaced by a new player - especially when she found out that player was Hr. Dr. Richard Kasper, the very man trying to woo her at her mother’s flower shop. Since becoming a couple, Richard lets Sigrid get first choice at the arcade and watches her play - he knows better than making her cry after loosing a hard-played game. - Nowadays, her son Johannes Faustuz has the same love for video games, which was also passed down to her grandson Cedrick. If the Kaspers aren’t busy chasing monsters and treating patients, they can be found competing against each other in separate rooms mashing buttons and wearing headphones. —— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #pixaloop #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #femalecharacter #youngwoman #1980 #pacman #arcade #animestyle #frauv8_ocs

Quick drawing of these two guys (pre-COVID-19 days). It’s also #internationalfriendshipday today. - Dr. Williams and Hr. Dr. Kasper has been good friends for almost a decade, but they weren’t always the closest of friends at the beginning. Tyrone was quite the prankster when he was a medical student; Johannes Faustuz was substituting a Biology course for a week, and Tyrone mercilessly poked at him, cracking inappropriate jokes and teasing him for his serious demeanor. Once the week was finally over, Faustuz returns home to Kiel without saying goodbye. After a few years pass since, Tyrone was finally a practicing Pediatrician. One day he overhears coworkers talking about a new doctor hired for the Oncology ward; they mention how strange he was being unusually tall and thin, speaking with a heavy European accent, and having odd-colored eyes. Tyrone immediately snaps at them for bad-mouthing the newcomer, and then seeks out the doctor they were talking about. Much to his surprise, it was the same substitute professor he once made fun of; Tyrone apologizes for his past behavior, offering a hand of friendship. ——— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #animestyle #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #men #frauv8_ocs

Sigrid standing by at her mother Aina’s specialty flower shop/living room located in Copenhagen, Denmark (the whole lower floor of the house is used as a store). Aside from flowers, cooking herbs, potions, and medicine are also sold. - Every day after high school, Sigrid works in the storage room trimming flowers for bouquets, potting bulbs and saplings, and extracting oils and sap from mythical plants. Normally she keeps herself out of sight to avoid classmates, especially other girls who bully her. But while restocking buckets of roses for Valentine’s Day in 1979, she instantly caught the eye of a traveling doctor known as “Playboy Dick” - Hr. Dr. Richard Kasper, youngest son of the “Deadly Black Skull of Kiel”. —— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #animation #blink #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #femalecharacter #girl #youngwoman #brunette #animestyle #purple #green #yellow #blue #orange #flowers #frauv8_ocs

This idea has been in the scrap pile for awhile, but might as well get it out there. — •1990: Johannes Faustuz Kasper walking the family dog Geri, a fawn Great Dane named after one of Odin’s two hunting hounds. At this point in life, 8-year-old Faustuz was teased for being small for his age (4 ft/122 cm); but like a Great Dane, in his teens he grows up quickly to a towering final height of 6’5”/195 cm. - •FACTS ABOUT GREAT DANES: Great Danes are HUGE dogs, standing at least 45 in/115 cm head to toe or 4 ft/125 cm in length (the largest one was 44 in/112 cm shoulder to toe and named Zeus). Despite the name, Great Danes are German not Danish...🤔 Hmm...🧐 Okay...🤨 From a little research, it’s a silly reason how they got their name: there was squabbling between Britain and Germany and the breed finally got its name from a picture of a dog in a French natural history book (my initial thought was that the dogs were from Jutland, where it has historically been back-and-forth being all German and all Danish; Jutland also happens to be the Kaspers’ homeland). They were bred to hunt boar, deer, and bear; they were also a popular guard dog for princes while they slept in their bedchambers. Great Danes are currently not as popular as they once were in the last 30-50 years with the memory of Scooby-Doo and Marmaduke fading away (I’m most familiar with Scooby-Doo with watching reruns and reboots in the 90s as a kid, but I know of Marmaduke because of reading one of my dad’s childhood books and there was a movie in 2010). Despite their big size, Great Danes are gentle giants. They require room, exercise, and lots of food. But sadly they’re prone to many health issues, having a short lifespan of 7-10 years. —— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #animestyle #malecharacter #boy #dog #greatdane #frauv8_ocs

Werner Asbjörn Ström AGE: 42 D.O.B.: 15 June 1979 ZODIAC SIGNS: Gemini / Goat BLOOD TYPE: AB HEIGHT: 182cm / 6’0” - The second oldest of the Ström nephews, younger brother of Ragnar, Werner takes pride being in charge of product design and engineering. He’s artistic, crafty, and when he’s done with work, he enjoys a strong cocktail and a crossword puzzle or two to unwind. He’s very practical, insensitive, and blunt, making him the most difficult of the four Ström nephews to deal with. Werner hates the fact that he looks like a younger version of his uncle, despite his gratitude for being accepted back into the family estate (he also hates how Freyja’s son Cedrick Kasper is starting to resemble him). Besides Gunnar, Werner was looked as the next best choice for Freyja to marry due to his good looks and love for the family business. But Werner and Freyja don’t get along, and he also feels awkward around his uncle Erik. He still harbors a lot of anger towards Freyja, seeing her as the cause of his father’s disownment. He also had tricked his cousin many times disguised as her future husband when they were teenagers (which lasted a while before Faustuz grew up much taller than him); because of this, Freyja and Faustuz have a relationship of distrust and caution towards him. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #autodesksketchbook #animestyle #originalcharacters #characterart #malecharacter #man #red #black #yellow #white #frauv8_ocs

1993: Tyrone Williams Who knew he was such an adorkable kid? ❤️ Might draw kid Tyrone next to kid Johannes Faustuz, even though they wouldn’t have known each other until much later in life (they grew up in the 90s liking very similar things such as video games and toys). — As a kid with my family, I loved watching “Family Matters”, “Fresh Prince of Bel Air”, “Roseanne”, “Married With Children”, and “Home Improvement” (Yes, we also watched “Full House”, but it didn’t seem as interesting; my mom liked it because of the kids; “Friends” was also a show we didn’t watch much compared to “Seinfeld” and “Fraiser”) It’s all vague memories, but just a mention of some of TV characters like Steve Urkel just makes me smile because I do remember his funny voice, his silly antics, and “Did I do that?”😆 Obviously I was looking at Urkel as a source of inspiration for a kid Tyrone because I have a soft spot for dorky nerdy guys. Tyrone gave up the look as he grew up because of peer pressure to look more “hip and cool”, but away from others at home, he maintains his love for video games, toys, and TV shows (he still hasn’t told his work buddy Hr. Dr. Kasper about about his secret love of collecting Trolls and wearing glasses as a kid). Sadly it’s something a lot of people, especially minorities, battle with because being nerdy is associated with “not being part of the group”. It’s not so much of a thing for Asians because it’s expected to be smart (amongst friends I joked I’m half as smart since I’m only half Asian), and the White Nerd has been a stereotype for ages despite being mocked. Nowadays it’s not a bad thing to be a nerd - it’s actually quite fashionable to be one with a sexy pair of glasses.🤓 ——— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #autodesksketchbook #animestyle #originalcharacter #characterart #characterdesign #malecharacter #boy #fashion #black #yellow #red #glasses #whiteshoes #trolldoll #1993 #1990sfashion #nerd #dork #frauv8_ocs

1979: Sigrid Faustus Hr. Dr. Kasper’s mother. There’s no question that he looks a lot like her, only with his father’s coloring. - Richard was a young traveling doctor who was known for being a notorious ladies man, always trying to woo a female to spend the night with - until he meets Sigrid at her mother’s flower shop in Denmark. He was immediately awestruck by her beauty, and did everything in his book to win her; to his dismay, she outright rejected every advance. Richard never had a woman ignore him before, making him even more determined and desperate to attract Sigrid every time he visited the flower shop. Sigrid was very much enamored with Richard’s looks and charm from the start, but she also knew of his promiscuous behavior and wanted him to stop so she can have him for herself. After a year of tormenting the poor man, Sigrid finally agreed to go out on a date with him; Richard was beyond ecstatic, constantly showering her with letters, gifts, and endless loyalty by marrying her. Less than a year later, they were expecting their first child. Richard was beyond proud when she gives birth to a healthy baby boy during the holiday season, but his joy quickly turned to despair when she suddenly dies from rapid blood loss; he named their son “Johannes Faustuz” as a reminder that he was a final gift and reminder of the woman who made him work hard for her love. Sadly, Richard dies while out on mission in Africa from infection a few months later, never seeing his son grow up looking like his mother and becoming a doctor like his father. ——— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #autodesksketchbook #animestyle #originalcharacterart #originalcharacter #characterart #femalecharacter #woman #yellow #blue #brunette #fashion #glasses #dress #frauv8_ocs

I’m tired... I’m bored... I can’t seem to motivate myself to finish things lately (I got 2 sketches waiting to get done), and it feels like I’ve gotten sloppy and lazy. Lockdown might have finally got me - or it’s readjusting to the daytime work schedule again after working nights for about a month (and the lack of sleep with rooftop construction 6 days a week for the last 2 months😟). - Wanted to make this more detailed like a manga page, but Anna isn’t feeling it this time; I might try redoing it later (seriously, I’ve been really feeling out of sync the last week). ——— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #autodesksketchbook #animestyle #originalcharacters #characterart #femalecharacter #malecharacter #couple #man #woman #fashion #frauv8_ocs
