10/16: Richard Kasper in the art style of “BLEACH”
Richard Kasper was renowned as Europe's preeminent Grim Reaper and once a notorious playboy. His physical presence, tall and fair with striking and unusual cat-like eyes, has always commanded attention. However, beneath this charismatic exterior lies the responsibility of being the current incarnation of Death. This transition occurred at the age of 21, granting him the power to shift between his ghastly form and his human body. This extraordinary ability comes at a high price — the gradual deterioration of his internal organs. His age as a deity stretches over 350,000, but his human birth remains a well-kept family secret, assumptions pointing to the early 1950s, post-World War II, during his father Olaf's service with the US government in Germany. Richard was marked by his status as the less-favored younger son, as his parents had initially hoped for a daughter. This unanticipated birth led to his mother's abandonment, seeking solace with an American soldier when he was just a toddler. Richard spent his formative years under the care of his maternal grandparents in Johannesburg, where he was exposed to African magical and medicinal practices. It wasn't until Heinrich's unexpected marriage to Yoko that Richard returned to Kiel, assuming the role of heir. His rebellious streak emerged as a reaction to these changed expectations, resulting in his reputation as a heartbreaker, with a string of ex-girlfriends and one-night stands. His engagement to Sheila barely lasted 2 years, breaking it off after discovering her true abusive nature towards his brother’s wife and children only because of their Asian ancestry. This cavalier attitude towards romance persisted until he received an assignment from Fate — the observation and eventual collection of the soul of Sigrid Jörgensen, igniting love within him.

9/16: Kim Jun-Yeong in the style of “INUYASHA” (and “RANMA 1/2” - Rumiko Takahashi is an amazing manga artist)
Kim Jun-Yeong, a young man hailing from Busan, South Korea, had aspirations of becoming an Architectural Engineer and was pursuing his studies in Los Angeles. Tragically, his life took a devastating turn during a routine walk to a local convenience store when he fell victim to a robber's gunshot, leaving him to pass away abruptly and alone. It was in this dire moment that Richard Kasper, coincidentally nearby on a mission to track down a rogue monster, intervened to collect Kim's departing soul.
However, Kim's spirit held a strong, unfulfilled yearning to complete his studies, and this desire only intensified during the decades he spent in the Underworld. Recently, he managed to break free from the confines of Death's barrier and returned to the university where he had once pursued his dreams. With a form solidified through condensed ice crystals, Kim resumed his studies, forming an unexpected bond with Tricia Williams, the sole student in the Biology class who could perceive his presence.
Curiously, Hr. Dr. Kasper was summoned to investigate the mysterious cold spells that disrupted Professor Vinnie DeValeur's lectures. This investigation unveiled the truth: Kim was responsible for the temperature fluctuations and was, in fact, a phantom student taking on the guise of a Gwisin. Despite his unique circumstances, Kim remains resolute in his commitment to attend classes diligently and accompany Tricia, even to the point of inciting jealousy when she engages in tutoring sessions with Cedrick. He has made a promise to Death (Richard) and his son to return to the Underworld upon completing his studies, ensuring he remains devoted to his academic pursuits.

8/16: Freyja Ström in the style of “NANA” (as well as “PARADISE KISS”)
Freyja is the enigmatic and renowned wife of Hr. Dr. Kasper and the doting yet overbearing mother of Cedrick. She is the sole offspring of Erik Ström, the patriarch of STRÖM CORPORATIONS & INDUSTRIES, and despite being the only female among the five Ström siblings, she is the designated heir of the family estate. Freyja, a Pesta like her mother, possesses unique skills, unable to see souls and lacking the ability to wield a broom for capturing them. Instead, she relies on her training from her father, honing her expertise in combat against supernatural entities with occult weaponry.
Freyja is renowned for her transition from a teenage supermodel to the popular host of "FASHION FASHION," a widely-watched TV show, with her cousin Einar as her co-host. Before her marriage to Hr. Dr. Kasper, Freyja was once betrothed to her cousin Werner, serving as a compromise to secure her position as the future heiress of the family estate. However, following "The Bluebeard Incident," where Johannes rescued her from a monstrous threat, her four male cousins unanimously agreed to support her marriage to Johannes, who would subsequently assume control of the family estate, while they would manage the family business. Freyja's love for her family is evident in her nurturing and protective nature, demonstrated by her signature dish, "Kraken Surprise," even though her culinary skills are lacking, especially given her choice of such a formidable creature as an ingredient.

7/16: Heinrich Kasper in the style of “SOUL EATER” (or “FIRE FORCE” - same creator)
Heinrich, the older brother of Richard, was the former heir to the Kasper legacy, possessing the coveted "Odin's Eye" ability, allowing him to discern vital information about individuals. He was a well-behaved and studious child, cherished by his parents. Despite their hope for a daughter, Heinrich insisted on having a younger brother.
Heinrich assumed a fatherly role for Richard after their mother departed the family for an American soldier when Richard was a toddler. He revealed Richard's true identity as the current incarnation of Death. Despite being betrothed to Sonja (Freyja's mother), Heinrich fell in love with Yoko, a Japanese-Korean woman he met during an overseas trip, leading to the dissolution of his betrothal and Richard's elevation to heir. Initially critical of Richard's relationship with Sigrid due to her young age and curse, Heinrich came to appreciate her intelligence and strong personality after a chess match defeat.
Heinrich and Yoko have two children, Hansel and Hannah, who didn't inherit "Odin's Eye" due to Mendelian genetics rules. They later adopted Johannes when Richard could no longer maintain his human form. Despite stepping down as heir, Heinrich continued to collect souls alongside his father and brother, using cigarette smoke as part of his tactics.

3/16 of OCs drawn in different art styles: Sheila Weiße (also spelled “Weisse”) in the style of HUNTER X HUNTER.
[not sure if I matched the style TBH]
-
Sheila Weisse once held the position as Richard Kasper's fiancée. Their engagement, orchestrated by Richard's father Olaf, lasted nearly two years. Sheila hailed from a low-tier Enchantress background, part of a nouveau riche family striving for elevated standing within Occult society. This ambition led her to align herself with the infamous Kasper Family. Despite her physical attractiveness, Sheila displayed an insatiable craving for opulence and extravagance, coupled with a fiery temper and an evident disdain for those she perceived as socially or racially beneath her.
Richard's financial ruin swiftly followed due to Sheila's extravagant spending, prompting the closure of his private medical practice and the derailment of his career as a doctor. In response, he promptly terminated the engagement and barred her from the Kasper family estate after discovering her ill treatment of his sister-in-law Yoko and hurling racial slurs at both her and his young nephew and niece. Olaf, outraged by his son's decision to sever the engagement, clashed with Richard. In return, Richard staunchly declared that he would prefer to let the family bloodline end with him upon his return to his true identity as Death, rather than spend his remaining human years alongside such a malevolent woman.
Months subsequent to their separation, Sheila's sentiments shifted, veering toward pity for Richard's circumstance of undertaking menial roles within the Occult Community. She also developed an intense yearning to revive their past relationship. However, this inclination became increasingly tinged with jealousy over Richard's newfound romantic involvement with Sigrid Jörgensen-Faustus.

The first of 16 OCs redrawn in their assigned art style:
Tricia Williams - ONE PIECE
I thought it would be interesting to draw Tricia in this style considering there’s a lot of female characters in the series (I got left behind many years ago - I just started High School when I first read it in SHONEN JUMP and watched the anime, and I wasn’t able to keep up when I started College 💀).

In his struggle with emotions, Death, known as Richard in his human form, finds it challenging to process and comprehend the depths of love and the desire to care for another person. Accustomed to his role of collecting and overseeing souls, Death has rarely experienced the complexities of love and nurturing, often focusing on maintaining the balance of souls in their final destinations or assuming the roles of a doctor or handyman to conceal his true nature. The creatures that result from lost and wandering souls can even escalate to the level of God-Class Monsters in the worst-case scenarios. Throughout his incarnations, Death has never witnessed the longevity required to fully experience “True Love” and establish a family of his own. However, as Richard, he becomes profoundly sensitive to the irresistible pull of love when he encounters Sigrid, despite his eventual responsibility of ending her life.

Something drawn a long while ago that only was featured as an Insta-Story (colored and un-colored versions).
I’m still working on the “6 FAN ARTS” prompt with 3 characters left to finish (about 50% done, more or less). These take quite a bit of time to make considering the fact I had to collect references and I’m drawing 6 characters; at the pace I’m going, I’m probably going to be done by tomorrow if I pull off another all nighter… 🫠

Death’s son, Hr. Dr. Kasper, guiding a soul on the threshold between the living and dead…
-
Herr Doktor Johannes Faustuz Kasper is a man of many facets. His presence leaves an indelible mark, whether it be in the operating theater, the classroom, or the realm of monsters and myths. 🩻📋🧌
He has long platinum blond hair & captivating heterochromia, his left eye blue and right eye green. Standing tall at about 6’5” (195-200cm), Johannes commands attention wherever he goes. As the future patriarch of the Kasper bloodline, he carries the weight of his family’s dark history as descendants of plague doctors, witch-hunters, bodysnatchers, & Nazi scientists. With “Odin’s Eye,” his heterochromia that allows him to perceive the strengths & weaknesses of mythical creatures, he’s dubbed “The White Grim Reaper,” a relentless hunter of monsters under the guise of a medical doctor. 🧑🏼⚕️ ⚔️🌑
Top oncological surgeon & substitute Biology professor, he’s known for his no-nonsense attitude & hidden compassion. Sarcastic yet sweet, he’s a gentleman in good moods, treating you to homemade Strudel, coffee, & engaging conversations. ☕🍰🗣️ Craft beer & hot black coffee are his indulgences, meticulously prepared to his exacting standards. However, he despises lazy students, cheap alcoholic drinks, & formal social gatherings, preferring authentic connections. 📚🍻
At home, Johannes’ collection of mutant fruit flies, jarred specimens, & mythical creatures is a testament to his fascination with the unusual.
Johannes has a complicated relationship with his father Death (Richard), but recognizes the immense power & responsibility that comes with maintaining souls on Fate’s command. 💀✨💬 It’s not known if he’s a deity or will become one like Death.

“Forbidden Love” / „Vorboten Liebe“
Richard Kasper, who is the incarnation of Death, is tasked by Fate with collecting the soul of Sigrid Jörgensen-Faustus, a teenage Wicca girl who is cursed to live for only a few more years.
However, as he spends more time with her, Richard falls in love with Sigrid.
Despite his ultimate task of collecting her soul, they continue their relationship, aware that they have limited time together.

Felt like drawing a Manga style pic this time…
I’m just feeling drained from producing a lot of content in a short period of time, and also feeling a bit depressed (I’m really getting frustrated with IG - it’s getting harder to find people’s content on my feeds beneath the promoted stuff, and obviously it’s harder to share art as Reels since they take more time to make more “special”).

Another #sketchdump with more OC Notes…
Still feeling tired, had family visiting over, and my Drawing ✍🏻 still hurts, so not sure if and when I’ll post anything new for a while…
Short Comics, Sketch Dumps, and OC Notes are easier to make than full-out Pics and Reels, but everywhere is becoming so demanding and competitive for content that it’s literally burning me out mentally, physically, and emotionally (seriously - people can’t believe how much I’ve made since 2016 and barely have Likes, lol).
I’ll try to make some kind of a Poll on my InstaStory to find out which OCs my IG Followers want to have more Notes on.

Richard & his older brother Heinrich.
(There’s mention of a younger sister, but Sabrina isn’t a Kasper - she’s their half-sister from their mother’s affair with the American soldier she left with when Heinrich was 12 and Richard was 4)
-
Their personalities may be opposites of each other, but like peanut butter and jelly they’re inseparable when they’re put together - especially when hunting monsters and collecting souls as Grim Reapers.
Heinrich is always around to pull the reins on Richard’s impulsive behavior while Richard tags along to make sure Heinrich has a fun time no matter what.
Ever since their mother left their father, the brothers made a pact to stick together and watch over each other.
This bond was tested when Heinrich broke his betrothal with Sonja and married Yoko instead, forcing the duties of Heir to Richard despite being the younger son and incarnation of Death with a limited lifespan (he expected to live a carefree playboy life); but with the birth of Hansel & Hannah (Death has a soft spot for children, always reluctant to take souls from them because of wasted potential), Richard reaffirmed his oath with Heinrich and took his role as Heir more seriously by taking their father’s ultimatum - accepting an arranged engagement with an Enchantresses named Sheila.
But since becoming bankrupt and losing his medical practice due to her frivolous spending, Richard broke off his engagement with Sheila and now takes up random jobs within the occult community.
Heinrich & Yoko had offered to let him stay in their house, but Richard mainly stays in a distant cousin’s hotel in Copenhagen where he can keep a close eye on his latest assignment sent directly from Fate: observing a teen girl named Sigrid with a rare Life Curse set to go off within 2-5 years.
Heinrich doesn’t like the fact Richard is dating Sigrid now, but he sees the positive changes in Richard’s demeanor.
