Quick poses of Cedrick Kasper and Tricia Williams wearing quarantine attire. I’d happily wear either of their outfits any day, but what I wear for work is just as comfortable (I usually wear dark leggings with a t-shirt, polo, or soccer jersey, ball cap, and black shoes). I really enjoy quick fashion pose doodles like these, and sometimes I’d want to make a more elaborate version of them later on (perhaps I should do a poll on which of the two deserves a redraw). ——— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #digitalsketch #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #autodesksketchbook #animestyle #originalcharacters #characterart #femalecharacter #malecharacter #frauv8_ocs #pink #red #yellow #blue #black #teenagers #boy #girl #fashion #activewear

Dickie, I’m so sorry that I made you kinda look like a botched Arnie. At least he has a cool “Jojo Pose”...😭 Seriously not my best work, either one of them. I had another idea in mind when I started, but it’s late and I’m tired... (I’ll just make it into a comic page if I get back to the idea). Gawd I feel worthless after drawing this... - •OC INFO: Richard’s nickname is “Dickie”, not “Ricky” or “Richie”; his older brother Heinrich’s nickname is actually “Ricky”, not “Henry” as expected. Sigrid calls him “Dick” as a jab on his playboy ways, even after they’ve become a couple for life. - This won’t be my only take on the #artstylebend challenge going on (my challenge is good until the 23rd). The next pic based off the prompt could be a female OC since female bodies are obviously not the same as males. And drawing only using soft brushes is not easy (coloring with soft brushes, on the other hand, is actually easier than hard shading/lighting for me). This just shows that even I can still suck at drawing.😫 —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #digitalsketch #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #animestyle #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #1980sactivewear #frauv8_ocs

Looks like Sigrid was caught eying Richard from her mother’s flower shop... - It seems like these two had been becoming more popular according to stats. Maybe because it’s the fact they’re from 1980 (aesthetics of the 1970s-90s are in), look cute together as a couple (though in today’s standards Richard most likely wouldn’t be allowed to date Sigrid since he’s 23 and she’s 16), or that their story is very romantic but also a sad one (they both die within a year from each other, leaving their son behind to be raised by his extended family). Maybe it’s all three? Either way, I try my best to mix things up. —— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #pixaloop #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #couple #malecharacter #man #femalecharacter #girl #flowers #plants #window #glasses #animestyle #frauv8_ocs

I think my eyes hurt from staring at this guy for too long...😭 Doesn’t help that I also stay up past Midnight for multiple nights.😫 - Besides looking all pretty in pink, Hr. Dr. Kasper has plenty of pour-over coffee and traditional sweets for himself on the side: Baumkuchen, Prinsesstårten, and Strudel. Both Johannes Faustuz and Cedrick have “Odin’s Eye” which requires a lot of energy to maintain, so often father and son will fight over snacks and caffeine when they’re available. Most of the time Papa Kasper gives up for the sake of his son’s needs over his (as any parent would do, plus Cedrick is quickly catching up with him on size as a teenager), making him at high risk of being an easily irritable hangry monster around other people (he’s not called “Hot-Headed Hans” for no reason). — These kind of pics take a LONG time to make - even longer if I put more painful effort of shading and lighting. Part of the time it’s gathering references, other times it’s picking and playing with color schemes (that’s why there’s a bonus cyan blue version here), but it’s mostly the drawing and coloring process that takes so long (especially the drawing when there’s tiny details). - One of them days this old millennial here have to play with REELS using video versions of my pics just for funzies (because why not 😛). Experimenting can be messy, but it’ll be a learning process. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #digitalsketch #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #animestyle #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #man #manbun #glasses #suit #coffeemug #stool #plant #coffeetable #prinsesstårta #baumkuchen #strudel #pink #green #blue #yellow #frauv8_ocs

1980 when PAC-MAN made his debut outside of Japan. - Ever since she was a toddler, Sigrid has always been a fan of the arcade. She’d always beg her mother Aina for a coin and would play for hours nonstop with that one coin. Her classmates at high school think she’s a dork for liking video games, but little kids at the arcade love watching her play. Sigrid was pissed when she saw her high score on SPACE INVADERS was replaced by a new player - especially when she found out that player was Hr. Dr. Richard Kasper, the very man trying to woo her at her mother’s flower shop. Since becoming a couple, Richard lets Sigrid get first choice at the arcade and watches her play - he knows better than making her cry after loosing a hard-played game. - Nowadays, her son Johannes Faustuz has the same love for video games, which was also passed down to her grandson Cedrick. If the Kaspers aren’t busy chasing monsters and treating patients, they can be found competing against each other in separate rooms mashing buttons and wearing headphones. —— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #pixaloop #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #femalecharacter #youngwoman #1980 #pacman #arcade #animestyle #frauv8_ocs

Sigrid standing by at her mother Aina’s specialty flower shop/living room located in Copenhagen, Denmark (the whole lower floor of the house is used as a store). Aside from flowers, cooking herbs, potions, and medicine are also sold. - Every day after high school, Sigrid works in the storage room trimming flowers for bouquets, potting bulbs and saplings, and extracting oils and sap from mythical plants. Normally she keeps herself out of sight to avoid classmates, especially other girls who bully her. But while restocking buckets of roses for Valentine’s Day in 1979, she instantly caught the eye of a traveling doctor known as “Playboy Dick” - Hr. Dr. Richard Kasper, youngest son of the “Deadly Black Skull of Kiel”. —— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #animation #blink #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #femalecharacter #girl #youngwoman #brunette #animestyle #purple #green #yellow #blue #orange #flowers #frauv8_ocs

A full look of what fashion was like for this Kasper: white coat, red t-shirt, denim bell bottoms, Adidas shoes, oversized glasses, feathered hair. - At this point of time, Richard is really heartbroken with Sigrid ignoring his advances. Never a girl rejected his charms as she did, making him even more desperate to win her love. Slowly over time, Sigrid accepts his random gifts of chocolates, perfume, and jewelry up to the point she finally gives up her act when he falls ill with fever and lovesickness. After spending a night together, Richard and Sigrid were on the fast track to marriage and having a family. ——— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #autodesksketchbook #animestyle #originalcharacterart #originalcharacter #characterart #malecharacter #man #fashion #frauv8_ocs

‼️**DISCLAIMER: NOT A REAL SCREENSHOT ON SLIDE 2!**‼️ I had to repost this pic because originally I had “mamakasper” as Freyja’s username, but it exists IRL; it’s changed to “@fryj_kspr”. I’m not surprised “mamakasper” already exists because “Kasper” is a common name; I only thought of the username around 2016 when I started becoming more active in Instagram, imagining what my OCs would’ve named themselves. These accounts are linked with mine, and eventually I’ll have each of these OCs’ pics posted in their own accounts to help organize what has accumulated in my main account over the years. This idea has been in the scrap pile for awhile, but might as well get it out there. — •1990: Johannes Faustuz Kasper walking the family dog Geri, a fawn Great Dane named after one of Odin’s two hunting hounds. At this point in life, 8-year-old Faustuz was teased for being small for his age (4 ft/122 cm); but like a Great Dane, in his teens he grows up quickly to a towering final height of 6’5”/195 cm. - •FACTS ABOUT GREAT DANES: Great Danes are HUGE dogs, standing at least 45 in/115 cm head to toe or 4 ft/125 cm in length (the largest one was 44 in/112 cm shoulder to toe and named Zeus). Despite the name, Great Danes are German not Danish...🤔 Hmm...🧐 Okay...🤨 From a little research, it’s a silly reason how they got their name: there was squabbling between Britain and Germany and the breed finally got its name from a picture of a dog in a French natural history book (my initial thought was that the dogs were from Jutland, where it has historically been back-and-forth being all German and all Danish; Jutland also happens to be the Kaspers’ homeland). They were bred to hunt boar, deer, and bear; they were also a popular guard dog for princes while they slept in their bedchambers. Great Danes are currently not as popular as they once were in the last 30-50 years with the memory of Scooby-Doo and Marmaduke fading away (I’m most familiar with Scooby-Doo with watching reruns and reboots in the 90s as a kid, but I know of Marmaduke because of reading one of my dad’s childhood books and there was a movie in 2010). Despite their big size, Great Danes are gentle giants. They require room, exercise, and lots of food. But sadly they’re prone to many health issues, having a short lifespan of 7-10 years. —— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #animestyle #malecharacter #boy #dog #greatdane #frauv8_ocs

Rewinding back to July 1981 with Sigrid and Richard. No matter how much he turns on the charm, there’s no way in Hell she’s sharing her ice cream when baby cravings hit. - Both Richard and Sigrid wear aviators/glasses, which their son Johannes Faustuz also does. Sigrid is also wearing a green polka dot dress similar to what Princess Diana wore in the 1980s. Richard is wearing a T-shirt with a sailboat and “KIEL” on it, a nod to where the Kaspers come from and where usually in the end of June/early July a large gathering of boats occurs.⛵️ *** Once again, I’m hunkered down. Work has been canceled until the 24th due to a number of people who tested positive for COVID-19. As far as I know, I haven’t been exposed to anyone sick, but with those who tested positive at work being asymptomatic really makes me nervous. And of course I won’t qualify for a test because I don’t have the classic COVID-19 symptoms or had contact with any with symptoms (my allergies, on the other hand, have been driving me crazy). Regardless, it’ll be a two week quarantine period for everyone’s safety. —— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #pixaloop #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #couple #malecharacter #man #femalecharacter #woman #icecream #pregnant #glasses #animestyle #frauv8_ocs

#happy4thofjuly. Here’s some #fireworks. - I’m really low key about being American with the $h!tstorm going on for years, especially this year. I absolutely hate who’s in charge because he’s incompetent, has no morals, or compassion (seriously - his message is basically now “learn to live with Coronavirus”; that’s the equivalent of saying to a person just accept living life with their abusive SO 😡). My faith in people is shot after seeing all those months of hard work of repressing the virus practically disappear in a few weeks. I’m utterly disgusted with people who can’t accept the science and disregard others people’s right to live. Yet despite all the crap, there’s still a sliver of hope that maybe people will finally listen when the cost of life goes beyond ignoring. That’s one good thing about being an American - always looking forward towards a brighter future. That’s something we all can agree on. ———— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #pixaloop #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #femalecharacter #woman #afrobun #tanktop #animestyle #redwhiteandblue #4thofjuly #frauv8_ocs

Still in quarantine wearing house shoes and casual clothes bordering pajamas as Hr. Dr. Kasper enters his study. Freyja doesn’t approve of wearing sweatpants during virtual work sessions, grocery shopping trips, rogue monster hunts, or collecting Death’s quota of souls - proving the saying that the wife chooses the pants for the man of the house is true for this family. - I had a lot of fun playing around with textures with this one. Originally I thought about adding in one of the Kaspers’ dogs, but I’m lazy and it would of covered up most of the detail in the mini book shelving unit. I also thought of adding on glasses, but with a pic of this size, I prefer them off to see his face clearly (last slide has Papa Kasper with glasses on). — I have work Thursday thru Sunday this week, then it’s going back down to Del Mar for the summer work season (as far as planned). If the pandemic gets even worse, I won’t be surprised if everything stops and shuts down again in California - and maybe no work.😑 - I have so~ much rage towards my fellow humans right now, especially with those who can’t set aside their national pride and politics aside to wear something that could save lives. Science has no politics - it’s just straight facts and has no mercy when it comes to the laws of life and death. ——— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #man #blond #fashion #room #plant #books #bookcase #animestyle #pink #green #gray #grey #frauv8_ocs
