Can’t forget #furryfamilymembers members for the #holidays. - Fräulein Flicka (#doberman), Klimt (#norwegianforestcat), and Freud (#dachshund) are the Kasper’s pets (which I should try drawing more often). And all three want the #candycane and not so much the #ornament, lol. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #pets #animals #cat #dogs #christmas

Cedrick as a baby gnawing on a #candycane with his grandfather Erik Ström for a #christmas pic. - Freyja always jokingly says her father looks like a “bad-ass Santa Clause,” but Cedrick and Johannes Faustuz think otherwise. Cedrick actually has a fear of Santa Clause because he’s actually just scared of his grandfather. Faustuz doesn’t like anything Christmas in general because his birthday falls during the holiday season, and he and Erik never did quite see each other eye to eye with a lot of things (literally with Faustuz being much taller than his father-in-law as an adult; when he was a little boy when he first met Freyja, Erik was like a giant to him). — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacters #malecharacters #grandpa #grandfather #grandson #babyboy #grandpagrandson #santa #santaclaus #santaclause #redgreen #greenred #red #green #holidayseason

Exactly how I feel Faustuz. I feel your pain. But you got a #hellokittyplush! (His birthday is 23 December) - When your birthday is smack right in the peak of the #holidayseason, it’s really hard to feel excited about it. Practically everyone is so focused on everything else but you. You can’t compete against Jesus and consumerism. You hear nonstop carols reminding you that you’re getting older. Therefore, you can turn into a bit of a grumpy old grinch. - Growing up I hardly had any birthday parties because all my classmates have their own family gatherings to attend. Even to this day, people get really cheap just giving me one gift for both my birthday and Christmas - and often it’s holiday themed which can get a bit annoying since it’s not practical for any other time of the year. So no, you don’t get double the presents like they all say - it’s all an illusion. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #originalcharacters #originalcharactersdrawing #originalcharacterart #red #green #redgreen #greenred #blondhairblueeyes #fatherson #father #son #holiday #holidaybirthday #holidaygifts #santahat #cake #hellokitty #christmas

Page 4. - To be called by his first name only means Vincent-Claude is very concerned about the fruit flies. - The Herr Doktor rarely is called just by his first name - he prefers Johannes Faustuz, Faustuz, Dr. Kasper, or Herr Doktor. He absolutely hates being called Hans (Hans is his cousin Hansel’s/Hanzo’s nickname), and often gets mistakenly called Jonah. - “ •Fantasy Concept: Death himself - the founder of the Kasper Clan •Death is an immortal being who observes the balance of life and power for Fate, creator of all that exists. Fate allowed her servant to roam the world as a wondering doctor studying all kinds of medicines that exist. Under the name Richard, Death and a few Blood Elves founded the Kasper Clan as a safe home for those who were disowned for their mixed ancestry and so-called genetic anomalies. As Richard, Death appears to look like a Wood Elf with some human mixed in. •Being a wandering doctor, Richard has been known as a “Quack” and fool to many that encounter him. But a young female Blood Elf Sigrid falls for him despite her father’s disapproval and suspicions. He and Sigrid marry and travel back to his village where they have a son together. But Fate calls him back when a king begins to invade and search for a way to bring his wife back to life. “ - Death aka Richard is Johannes Faustuz’s father, Cedrick’s grandfather. Pretty obvious seeing how much they look alike. And yes, Death is a Dick. 😅 It’s not just his name, it’s also because he’s not a very good father and at times just lets people die for the hell of it. — #malecharacter #originalcharacter #death #bone #skeleton #skull #horseskull #blackcloak #flowers #pen #marker #pencil #pinkpencil #kuretake #staedtler #ohuhu #milanpencil #sakuragellyroll #handdrawn #handwriting #dottednotebook #lemome_notebooks #ink #inkart #inkartwork #blackblue #blueblack #blackink #blueink

I guess this is the end? Maybe one more? Either way, I’m TIRED! 😴 And #thanksgiving is pretty much over now that people are overly excited about Christmas (I’m not - it’s a big reminder that I’m getting older since my birthday is Christmas Eve). - Tyrone looks like he’s getting over his fear of cutting into former living things, especially with chanting what his coworker had told him. And Tricia is actually quite a bully, especially towards Cedrick - she doesn’t play nice and thinks Cedrick is a total nerd. She also calls him Dutch when he’s Deutsch. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #comics #comic #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacteros #africanamerican #family #father #uncle #niece #daughter #thanksgiving #thanksgivingturkey #turkey #phone #knife #cuttingturkey

Page 7. At least one more page to go ~ Most likely one more page with a conclusion pic of some kind. - And based on my research, the proper way to carve a turkey is cutting off the whole legs first, then separate the thighs from the drumsticks, slice off the breasts, and lastly the wings with the wishbone. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #comics #comic #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacters #africanamerican #family #phone #conversation

Page 2. Sorry for turning the turkey into nightmare fuel, lol. - Despite being a doctor, Tyrone hates cutting into things. He actually fainted in medical school while he had to observe the dissecting of a cadaver. Hence that’s one major reason why he became a pediatrician - children are much cuter and livelier than dead bodies. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #comics #comic #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacters #africanamerican #wife #husband #thanksgivingturkey #turkey

#thanksgiving is around the corner here in America, so everyone is all excited for the food. I’m working that day, but at least I’ll get home early enough to eat. - I guess I’m doing this - I gotta be committed to the end. It’s based off a short skit I made last year: it’s Tyrone, my American character enjoying his day off from work with his family; this version has his niece Tricia in it. And don’t worry - the two Kaspers won’t steal the show. It’s all about Doctor Tyrone Williams this time. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #comics #comic #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacters #africanamerican #family #thanksgivingturkey #turkey

Heard the sad news about #stanlee at work today. Lost an American media hero when times seem so dark these days with the craziness here in California, 46-1 doing a crappy job with WWI memorials over at Europe, and on #veteransday this year too. #pendrawing in my current #lemomesketchbook / #lemomenotebook . Seems like the whole thing will be dedicated to the Fantasy Concept. - Which leads to this question: Which version of Freyja do you like better - Fantasy or Modern? - “ •Fantasy Concept: Princess Freyja • Only child of King Erik Ström, Freyja grew up spoiled and arrogant. She took Faustuz Kasper as her slave as a gift from her father. Freyja decided to run away with Faustuz when her father arranged a marriage to a prince, leading to a big change in her life. “ — #originalcharacter #femalecharacter #warriorprincess #antlercrown #redhair #penart #inkart #inkartwork #inkdrawing #dottednotebook #dottedpaper

Second pic in my #lemomenotebook/#lemomesketchbook with the listed media I used to make it. Looks like I’m going for the Fantasy Concept for my characters again, and it’s #red this time. Maybe a bit risky with these two, lol. 😘 With the first one blue, this one red, my third one should be green and feature their son Cedrick. - “ •Fantasy Concept: Princess Freyja and Faustuz Kasper. •Princess Freyja claimed Faustuz as her own then they first met as children. They ran away together when her father arranged a prince to marry her. Over time, the princess fell in love with her slave, eventually marrying and having a son with him. “ — #lemome_notebooks #sketchbook #dottedjournal #dottednotebook #inkart #inkartwork #inkdrawing #redink #ink #originalcharacters #couple #embrace #inlove

It’s #halloween time! And 🎈 should of been a good enough hint - it’s #it! Originally I thought about having Papa Kasper dressed up as the old version of Pennywise and Cedrick as the new version, but then I thought it’d be cuter if I had a kid version of Cedrick as Georgie with his father as the demonic #clown. Cedrick may be a mini version of Johannes Faustuz, but he’s not as scary as him - yet. — #stevenkingit #it🎈 #originalcharacters #fatherson #child #boy #scaryclown #pennywise #georgie #red #redballoon #🎈#yellowraincoat #happyhalloween

#inktober #flower pic no.30 - #anthurium - A heart-shaped flower with many colors and variation in sizes, the name is derived from Greek; it translates to “Tail Flower” with its inner spadix being the reason. They are popular houseplants and decor for offices, making them very versatile and adaptable plants. The Anthurium represents hospitality, happiness, and prosperity - the perfect plant to give as a housewarming gift. - Again, a simple drawing this time. It’s a potted Anthurium in a plain home/office setting, the most common way this plant is displayed. — #inktober2018 #sketchbook #moleskine #moleskinecahier #pens #pentel #penteltradio #tradio #fountainpen #platinumpen #pilotmarkers #frixion #frixioncolors

#inktober #flower pic no.29 - #gladiolus / #gladioli - Known as “Sword Flowers,” Gladioli are old-fashioned flowers grown next to fences as backdrops for other garden flowers. They grow up in spikes up to 4ft. tall (about 125cm.), and come in a rainbow of colors. Because of its shape, this flower is associated with gladiators in ancient times. It stands for strength, honor, integrity, determination, and character - all traits to describe a warrior. The sword-shape is also believed to strike through the heart to directly send one’s love. - Nothing too special this time - just the flower drawn in #pink / #red #erasableink with a hint of Spiderman, a character with all the represented traits of the Gladiolus. — #gladiolusflower #inktober #inkart #inkdrawing #redink #blackink #pens #pilotfrixion #frixion #platinumpen #platinumpreppy #kuretake #kuretakebrushpen #kuretakecambio #sketchbook #moleskine #moleskinecahier

#inktober #flower pic no.26 - #hibiscus - The state flower of Hawaii and national flower of Haiti, this tropical flower comes in red, yellow, pink, purple, and white. They are used in herbal tea and food flavoring, not just as gardening plants. The hibiscus gets it name from an Ancient Greek derived name of a Roman botanist and doctor. This flower symbolizes delicate feminine beauty, fleeting glory and fame, young women, and the qualities of the perfect wife. - With the flower of feminine beauty and wives, it’s Asia and Freyja again. These ladies have grace, beauty, wits, and lots of attitude to share. - This pic was digitally inked and colored with #autodesksketchbook this time. It’s in the grey area whether I think counts for Inktober, but the #digitalink brushwork does resemble actual #ink, so I guess it’s a pass. - 5 more to go~ With some extras too, lol. — #inktober2018 #originalcharacters #femalecharacters #women #redflowers #digitalart #digitalartwork #digitalcoloring #sketchbook #moleskine #moleskinecahier #pencil #mechanicpencil

#inktober #flower pic no.25 - #aster - From Greek meaning “Star” and also known as #starwort, these flowers are very similar to the daisy. They come in white, pink, blue, violet, lavender, and red with yellow centers. Asters are believed to be enchanted blossoms, used as a love talisman and burned for protection. They symbolize patience and wisdom; they are the birth flower for the month of September and are given for couples’ 20th wedding anniversary. - I decided to go a bit more digital on this pic after inking it (like what I did with no.4 and no.19). - Freyja was used for Daisy, so Faustuz as a necromancer mage was the obvious choice for Aster. Mages are often regarded as wise and healing in the fantasy world regardless of what kind they are; being a necromancer mage allows Faustuz to not only cure ailments but also to bring the dead back to life abet they haven’t been killed or dead longer than a day. He can also summon Death, but at a cost of something precious. — #inktober2018 #inkdrawing #platinumpen #platinumpreppy #sepiaink #sketchbook #moleskine #moleskinecahier #digitalcoloring #digitalcolouring #digitalart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #malecharacter #blond #longhair #flowers
