The remaining 4 pages: • Character Comparisons • The End — Copenhagen, 1985. Sigrid is sixteen, brilliant, cursed—and marked by Death. When a Fossegrim tries to drown her in a haunted fountain, she’s saved by a towering figure with mismatched eyes and a bloody scythe. His name is Richard Kasper, and he is Death Himself. But Death doesn’t just want her soul—he wants to protect her. And Death never lets go. #digitalart #originalcharacters #artontiktok #webcomic #digitaldrawing

This is what I’ve been working on for the last few weeks — finally a new short story done after over 2 years, but this time it’s featuring Johannes’ parents Sigrid and Richard. [IG is only letting me post 20 at a time, but this is most of the story; I’ll have the remaining pages in the next post] — Copenhagen, 1985. Sigrid is sixteen, brilliant, cursed—and marked by Death. Happy Galentine’s Day! ❤️‍🔥 It’s been a long while since I’ve drawn her… This is Patricia “Tricia” Williams—a university student under Johannes’ guidance and the niece of Tyrone Williams. A dedicated athlete with a passion for volleyball and the latest music trends, Tricia prefers to focus on sports and entertainment rather than her studies. However, her ability to see mythical creatures and spirits often draws unwanted attention from the supernatural world. Despite her Haitian great-grandmother’s insistence on learning Voodoo and potion-making, Tricia has long ignored her magical heritage. Since meeting the Kasper family, she’s been encouraged to improve her grades and explore the occult—potentially unlocking her own hidden magical abilities. #artoninstagram #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #sketchbookautodesk #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacters #originalcharacter #animeartstyle #femalecharacter #fashion #galentinesday #red #afropuffs

I guess it’s going to be a thing now to include a Chat GPT generated story included with each of these pics… 🤷🏼❓ Anyway, I stayed up way too late making this and I’m trying to decompress and cope the best way I can while the world around me is descending into chaos… [srly… I can’t with the TikTok whiplash, WTF is up with IG’s grid, and all the other Sche!ße going on just this year already… and it’s STILL ONLY JANUARY?!] #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #sketchbookautodesk #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #animeartwork #animeartstyle #femalecharacter #malecharacter #shortstory

Unlike his father, Death (who is merciless and stealthy when collecting souls), Johannes prefers a more compassionate approach. He offers options and conditions upfront to those nearing the end of their lives, aiming to ease their transition. Johannes adopts a kindly and angelic demeanor to make crossing the living veil less daunting. However, he is not afraid to instill the same degree of fear as Death when he encounters someone who he believes is undeserving of mercy and care. #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #autodesksketchbook #sketchbookautodesk #prequelapp #moldivvideolab #originalart #oc #originalcharacter #malecharacter #animeartstyle #animeaesthetic #artoninstagram #man #grimreaper #souls

“I need no introduction - you know who I am. I come to you as if I was a whisperering ghost. Fate sent me to observe you. Now I will ask you: Why do you fear me so? Am I really so bad?” As the present embodiment of Death, Richard was chosen by Fate to watch over Sigrid in the twilight of her life, just before her Life Curse would befall her. Beyond his notorious history as a one-time playboy and his present status as Europe’s most formidable Grim Reaper, not much is known about him. Typically, Richard revels in the game of breaking hearts for his own amusement. However, upon encountering Sigrid, her sassy spirit and innate youthful allure have captivated him. This enigmatic figure finds himself drawn to her in ways he never imagined. #charactersheet #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #sketchbookautodesk #autodesksketchbook #moldivvideolab #moldiv #prequelapp #prequel #faceapp #originalcharactersart #originalcharacter #characterdesign #malecharacter #grimreaper #death #man #souls #skythe #animation #animestyle #animestyleart #artoninstagram

… and that’s why Tricia hardly has any tutoring sessions over at the Kaspers’ place - they have 2 dogs (Fräulein Flicka and Freud), a cat (Klimt), a Wolpertinger (Fritz), a Hyosube (Junko), and a Sleipnir colt (Søren) [they also have Rose-Marie the Pink Fairy, but she doesn’t have hair or fur like the other creatures]. Tricia’s interactions with creatures are limited by her allergies and lack of affinity for animals. Her biology professor, Vinnie DeValeur, shares a similar irony as an animal-allergic individual owning a snake, tortoise, and tarantula for his students. Birds, however, are an exception, and she tolerates the Chickharney residing in the pine sapling planted by Hr. Dr. Kasper in her uncle Tyrone’s backyard. Tricia and Cedrick have known each other for more than 5 years, but they’re not a couple as many strangers tease they are - their relationship is more like estranged siblings or “a little more than acquaintances but not quite friends yet”. Tricia first met Cedrick when he was 9 years old and unable to speak much English (when the Kaspers first bought their home in Los Angeles for work), so she still sees him as “an annoying spoiled little brat” despite his sudden growth spurt in recent years; Cedrick doesn’t think much of Tricia since she’s over 5 years older and is a relative of a colleague, but he does find her difficult to be around with since she’s known for being stubborn and unwilling to stay focused on anything academic (Tricia got a scholarship to University because she’s a good Volleyball player, but has to maintain her grades - thus why she has tutoring sessions with Cedrick). #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #animestyle #animeaesthetic #prequelapp #prequel #moldiv #moldivvideolab #sketchbookautodesk #autodesksketchbook #originalart #originalcharacters #malecharacter #femalecharacter #teengirl #teenboy #dog #doberman #dobermann #blackgirl #whiteboy #vhsaesthetic #animated #animation #artoninstagram #artistoninstagram

On Instagram I had a poll on what hair colors I should focus on, and of course it was a tie between the pink and blue. 🩷💀🩵 So I ended up switching between all the hair colors as the final solution - and it’s a bit of work to do only to get a few views lol. Oh well… 🙃 I’ll make something else whenever I’m not feeling dead from work… (I actually wanted to do something else with the same song playing, but it’s going to be a lot of planning to make it…) It’s two of my younger OCs Tricia Williams and Cedrick Kasper (Gen Z/Gen Alpha) clad in Barbiecore Pink. Tricia is loving the pink, but Cedrick is way past done with it (he actually likes neon green, black, and orange - basically Halloween colors considering his birthday is in October). It’s also not often seeing Cedrick’s hair in other colors besides his natural platinum blond, though he’s known to occasionally dye half his hair for fun (blue is his favorite hair color). Tricia usually has her hair natural or in afro-puffs/buns, but she does enjoy having long braids and nails whenever she’s on break from playing volleyball for College/University. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #animestyle #animeaesthetic #moldiv #moldivvideolab #sketchbookautodesk #autodesksketchbook #originalart #artoninstagram #artistoninstagram #originalcharacters #originalcharacter #characterart #characterdesign #malecharacter #femalecharacter #teengirl #teenboy #bowlcut #blond #braids #barbiecore #kencore #barbiepink #fashion #blackgirl #whiteboy

🎟️🎟️🎟️Spoiler for the BARBIE movie!🎟️🎟️🎟️ Ken just needed to be loved and nudged in the right direction.🩷 And the double sunglasses… Ryan Gosling as Ken was just amazing (he’s not one of Hollywood’s darlings for nothing). - @barbiethemovie #digitalart #digitaldrawing #art #drawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #animestyle #animeaesthetic #prequelapp #prequel #moldivvideolab #sketchbookautodesk #autodesksketchbook #artoninstagram #artistoninstagram #vhsaesthetic #malecharacter #man #blond #pink #blue #barbiecore #barbiecoreaesthetic #barbie #ken #patriarchy #ryangosling #barbiefanart #fanart #horse

Barbie is EVERYWHERE! Even the Kaspers are swept up by the pink tsunami - Johannes and Freyja love it, but their son Cedrick is done with the color. 🎟️👛 I still remember first hearing the original Barbie song by Aqua song as a kid on the radio - it was constantly on repeat, and I LOVED IT! My mom still thinks it’s a little kid song, but now as an adult… I can see why Mattel wasn’t happy. 😆 Barbie was based off a German doll who actually has an interesting backstory herself (Bild Lilli was based off her newspaper comic counterpart who had quite the sassy personality based on the articles I’ve read). - #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #animestyle #animeaesthetic #prequelapp #prequel #sketchbookautodesk #autodesksketchbook #originalart #artoninstagram #artistoninstagram #originalcharacters #vhsaesthetic #malecharacter #femalecharacter #man #boy #woman #family #fathermotherson #blond #blonde #barbiecore #barbiecoreaesthetic #barbiepink
