The Kaspers’ house based in Southern California, somewhere around Los Angeles. It does have a second level that’s basically a loft and attic used for storage, nothing else important. - If you zoom in the Garage, you can see what kind of vehicle each parent drives (Papa Ström has a motorcycle, Freyja has a Volvo SUV, Hr. Dr. Kasper has an old VW Beatle); Cedrick is only 14/15, so obviously he can’t drive yet (there’s three bikes available; the shopping bike is pink with a basket and crate installed, lol). — Slide 2: Cedrick studying at the Nook’s table. - Slide 3: Cedrick playing games in the Living Room when he should be in the Game Room (the Living Room has a large projection screen from the ceiling). - Slide 4: Cedrick’s Bedroom. - Slide 5: Freyja enjoying a bath in the Master Bathroom. - Slide 6: The Laundry Room. - Slide 7: The Kitchen. - Slide 8: The Master Bedroom. - Slide 9: Hr. Erik Ström isolated from the rest of the family, regardless of which timeline (Freyja stuck in Sweden with her father and cousins, or Erik with his daughter, son-in-law, and grandson in quarantine in California). He’s not that old (late 60s) - but definitely old enough to get really sick if he’s not careful. Johannes Faustuz might not be fond of his father-in-law, but as a doctor, he’s very concerned about the old man’s health keeping his distance tenfold in the guest room/suite. - Papa Ström has been working remotely with his shipping business hectic since people are ordering essential supplies nonstop. Luckily he has his daughter Freyja around to keep him focused and able to fix his technical problems (he’s not very good with mobile devices and apps). —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #drawing #lineart #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #man #indoors #window #stayathome #blue #pixaloop #frauv8_ocs

The Kaspers’ laundry room done with a vibrant color scheme.🧺 - Freyja was out of bed clothes, so she took her husband’s last pair of clean pajamas for the night; she hoped to get laundry done before he finished showering. But it didn’t take long for Johannes Faustuz to catch up with her; only in underwear, he had to bypass several sleeping creatures in the hallway, a watchful father-in-law in the guest room, and a teenage son playing video games on the living room TV - without being seen. (Faustuz just wanted to tell Freyja that she could of left the pants for him while she wears his shirt; he might as well as wait for a pair of sweatpants to finish drying before going back) - Line art on the last slide for anyone to color in. This is what Johannes Faustuz is currently wearing as he works at the hospital. Normally Hr. Dr. Kasper does consultations and surgery to remove cancer tumors, but with elective surgeries delayed, he’s set aside to triage and test patients for COVID-19. - The sad news that keeps coming up: unfortunately doctors and nurses are in shortage of PPE to shield themselves from infected patients. Lots of fashion corporations are sewing up gowns and masks to help with the shortage, and places like tattoo boutiques are donating gloves; if you have extra equipment, please donate to your local hospitals. There’s also another glimmer of hope in the news in regards to PPE: some hospitals are testing if UV light is safe to use repeatedly on face shields, masks, and gowns for disinfecting so they can be used again; the downside to UV is that it tends to break materials down quickly (labs are sanitized by shining high levels of UV overnight to destroy germs). - It’s important that these guys don’t get infected - if everyone gets sick at once, more people will unnecessarily die. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #animestyle #man #doctor #ppe #personalprotectiveequipment

Another pic of Cedrick stuck at home like the majority of people in the world right now. — My job was abruptly canceled today due to county orders. It was pretty dramatic, especially having to type up and display the official statement for the world to see. 😐 But luckily somebody out there nearby needed a graphics operator for broadcasting, so I’m not totally out of work yet (it’s only a matter of time before that county decides the same thing). TV is considered an essential service, and I’m in the industry, so yes, I know I’m risking my health so that people are “informed and entertained” while they’re stuck at home (also, no work means no money for food and rent 🥺). So if you ain’t doctors, nurses, police officers, first responders, mail people, store workers, restaurant workers, utilities people, car repairer, and others assigned as “essential”, STAY HOME. We’re providing you services to make your sheltered lives more convenient and comfortable; staying home makes it safer for us by making it less likely to get the virus en route to work. Also, be nice to service people; they may not be doctors/nurses treating the sick, but they’re also in the front lines risking their lives to help the rest of society hunker down and stay safe. (that’s my rant for the day) —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #drawing #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #boy #teenager #teenageboy #teenboy #indoors #stayathome #blue #pixaloop #frauv8_ocs

A another quick pic of this guy - again. It’s always a debate every time I draw Johannes Faustuz: Hair up? Hair down? — Normally it would be up for safety and practical reasons at work, but if Papa Kasper is taking a break or isn’t at work, his hair is let loose and untied. Either way, he’s always busy with something - often with a cup of coffee in hand. - So why exactly does he have such long hair? Well, Faustuz did had shorter hair as a child and teenager; but after having Cedrick and becoming a junior doctor, he has less time to take care of himself and gave up on haircuts (except for occasional donations for cancer patients). Once Freyja noticed her husband’s locks was getting long, she was ecstatic to style his hair - starting with braids and the “Man Bun”. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #lineart #animestyle #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #characterdesign #malecharacter #man #doctor #frauv8_ocs

The last time when the Kasper Family was all together, before Johannes Faustuz and Cedrick left Freyja at Stockholm, Sweden with her father Erik and four cousins. Or in another timeline, this is before they’re all quarantined together at the Kaspers’ home in California; in that case, Papa Ström has to be the most isolated from the other family members since he’s the most risk of being severely sick. Faustuz would still be gone working at the hospital while Freyja and Cedrick stay home to care for the garden and menagerie (as well as Grandpa). - It’s times like this when family is most precious, even though they can be annoying as hell. When this bug is done and over with, we’re all going to look back at this as a milestone in our lives with appreciation. —— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacters #malecharacters #femalecharacter #family #father #mother #son #grandfather #blue #red #green #frauv8_ocs

Now for something cute and Kawaii!💖 There’s been way too much doom and gloom around here. (it’s been rainy today too🌧) - I felt like making a sticker sheet of the Kaspers/Ströms and their adorable creatures - in Chibi form!❤️ I’ve been wanting to make these for some time since they are my main OCs; I could make a fantasy version (it’s been a really long time since I’ve drawn their fantasy versions), or perhaps a few animated ones (one sticker per slide if I do that). - In case people are wondering what pet/creature is what: •Klimt: Norwegian Forest Cat •Freud: Dachshund •Fritz: Wolpertinger •Rosemarie: Fairy •Fräulein Flicka: Doberman •Junko: Hyōsube - Comment below to say which sticker is your favorite.🤗 —— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacters #family #pets #creatures #chibi #chibis #chibistyle #kawaii #cute #stickers #frauv8_ocs

If you’re a doctor, nurse, or lab technician doing tests right now, kudos to you; you’re on the frontlines taking care of the sick for unknown hours. Virtual hugs and high fives to you. - I was watching a doctor’s blog online, and he was saying that all medical students had been sent home and certain departments that are of less concern were being converted into rooms for hospital beds; many doctors from the converted areas were reassigned in teams for triage and general treatment as preparation for the “Calm Before the Storm”. That’s a bit frightening but also reassuring to hear that hospitals are preparing for the worst. — Poor Papa Kasper has been one of those reassigned for triaging and general treatment since his Oncology department has been downgraded and his surgeries postponed during the outbreak; Cedrick is also a doctor like his father, but being only 14-15, he’s treated as as medical student and sent home for protection. Since doctors are not machines, Johannes Faustuz often power naps in between shifts and appointments if he can’t get hold of coffee. When he returns to his office/dorm, he plops right down on his couch next to his potted plant for much needed rest. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #animestyle #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #man #doctor #frauv8_ocs

Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds - which is actually the length of this animation. It also has sound! 🔈 - 20 seconds goes by a bit faster if you sing a fun little chorus to yourself. I even made each of my main OCs sing a chorus: Hr. Dr. Kasper sings “Cheri Cheri Lady” when he’s washing his hands before surgery (it’s a very catchy song by Modern Talking, I’ll warn you - even I sing it!😅); his wife Freyja hums “Spice Up Your Life” by Spice Girls; their son Cedrick is not a fan of ‘Sink Karaoke’, but on occasion he’ll sing his ABCs like when he was a little boy. Me? Hmm...🤔 I never really gave it any thought because it depends on what I last listened to. But after mentioning Modern Talking, I apologize if you get any of their songs stuck in your head after looking them up. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #animestyle #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #animation #malecharacter #man #doctor #surgeon #washyourhands #frauv8_ocs

Blinking with boba. If I had spent more time on him, I’d try animating the mouth too. - Haven’t been able to make much lately since I’ve been worn out from work, and really trying my best to not get sick (my boss was sick, and now my husband). Drew this while listening to BTS’ new album (which is awesome cakes - “Dionysus” is definitely a favorite). - It’s a rarity to see Cedrick alone with his mother Freyja. At first glance, people assume he’s either her boyfriend or younger brother; Cedrick also gets embarrassed whenever Freyja tries to act “cool” around him (she’s actually not that old, not 40 yet). Freyja also has the bad habit of babying and spoiling her son to the point he’s annoyed and wants to be with his father instead (obviously this makes her sad and want to spoil her son even more just to get his affection; she inherited this habit from her father Erik). Cedrick and Freyja speak to each other in Swedish, which adds to the cuteness between mother and son (Johannes Faustuz, on the other hand, finds it frustrating whenever his wife and son do so because he can’t understand Swedish). This is the one thing Cedrick does appreciate being able to do with his mother since it’s challenging for him to speak Swedish instead of his usual English or German. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #characters #originalcharacters #malecharacter #femalecharacter #mother #son #motherson #blue #pink #grey

Cedrick found something in his father’s specimen collection that he just can’t wait to dissect. - One thing about Kaspers is that they can’t contain their eagerness to obtain knowledge by all means, making them quite mad and insane doing so. —— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #doctor #madscientist #maddoctor #jarredspecimen #animestyle #frauv8_ocs #green

Football / Soccer jerseys for this activewear/sportswear compilation because I feel like it. - Comment below and let me know which one is your favorite jersey. I think it’s obvious which ones I like most of the four (I own more than one white jersey, lol), but by far, my favorite has been 2018/2019 Germany’s jersey because it’s a beautiful shade of green (last slide). - The Swedish jersey bugs me so much because it’s a shade of what I call “Minion” yellow (yet I still bought one, but only because it was on sale and I can wear it when it gets super hot and humid🤦🏻‍♀️). If it’s not a hair color, yellow is a color I have difficulty with because it has such an intense presence. — #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #men #man #boy #teen #malecharacters #soccer #football #jerseys #fashion #frauv8_ocs

Digital version of the #pencilsketch of Cedrick and Klimt from last week (11JAN2020). - セドリック is “Cedrick” in Japanese (specifically written in Katakana; I looked it up). He’s obviously not Japanese, but he’s able to read some with his father’s aunt being Japanese (Johannes Faustuz is fluent in Japanese since he was raised by Tante Yoko and spoke it with his cousins Hansel and Hannah). - I’m thinking about drawing more pics like this with a touch of scribbled writing whether it’s in Japanese, English, German, whatever language that could give it an ascetic since full-page comics were voted unpopular in my feed. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #drawing #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #characterart #character #malecharacter #boy #pet #cat #neoncolors

It’s another #dtiyschallenge. @doodling.hard #hotncolddtiys - I’m kinda feeling a little bit sad because right after making my last post thanking 399 people who were following me, it dropped down to 398 (it was actually at 400 when I was making it).😂 It’s actually normal for me to loose Followers at the end/start of the month, more so when I don’t post as much content. I try to mix things up with a #drawthisinyourstylechallenge every now and then, but I’m an OC artist so it’s understandable people won’t be interested in my characters and leave.
