- •Fantasy Concept: Princess Freyja and her son Cedrick Kasper as a young boy. •All her life being the only daughter and child of a low-status warrior king, Freyja has been teased by her peers that she would never marry and bear an heir for her father. That all changed when she ran away and married her slave Faustuz, eventually having a son with him. This makes Cedrick sole heir to all of the warrior tribes when the other princes and princesses failed to have sons - that is if King Erik manages to take him away from his parents. Cedrick is also the only necromancer mage aside from his father, also making him the future chief of the Kasper Clan. On top of that, Cedrick is a prodigy in regards to medicine and elemental spells, which leads him into becoming a medic for the royal military. Freyja and Cedrick do not have a very close relationship due to her being gone hunting while he studies with his father. But despite that, Freyja loves her son very much and does everything she can to keep him safe. — #digitalart #digitalcolouring #digitalcoloring #digitalinking #originalcharacters #motherson #motherchild #mother #woman #son #boy #child #autodesksketchbook #ipadproart #lemome_notebooks #sketchbook #dottednotebook

Haven’t made anything digitally in a while - and the rain is keeping me up (it has been pouring with thunder and lightning in SoCal). - Anyway, it’s the 13th of October and it’s a special day - it’s my #originalcharacter Cedrick’s birthday! 🎉 He was born via emergency c-section, weighing at about 6 lbs (2.7 kg) and measuring a bit more than a foot (33 cm). His birth was damaging on Freyja, which is why he’s an only child; he was also born when Faustuz just started his career as a doctor, making it difficult for him to take care of his newborn son. But a surprise occurs: Freyja’s father Erik decides to make up with his daughter after finding out she had been in the hospital. - It’s not a very good #digitaldrawing, just something quick since I’m still working and I’m tired. — #digitalart #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #autodesksketchbook #fatherson #father #babyboy #originalcharacters

- Pg. 1: Finished Pg. 2: Line Art (feel free to color in with tag @frauv8) Pg. 3: Rough Sketch Pg. 4: Cleaned Up Line Art Video Pg. 5: Coloring Process Video I think I’m a week too early for #oktoberfest to be posting this, but whatever. Prost! 🍻 (Don’t expect much more German out of me - I’m going to butcher phrases since I haven’t touch it in a long time. Same goes for French. 😅 ) - Anyway, it’s the Kaspers being a bit festive for the celebration: Johannes Faustuz is grumpy as always, Freyja is dressed up in #lederhosen instead of a dirndl, and Cedrick is happy just for the chance for a large cold #stein of #beer. It’s a simple pic, but there’s still quite a bit of attention to detail - mainly Faustuz’s and Cedrick’s shoes (#Puma vs. #Adidas) and the #jersey (it’s the green training jersey without the gold FIFA World Cup patch since France is now the current champion). — #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #originalcharacterdrawing #originalcharacterdesign #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #sketchbookautodesk #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #speeddrawing #speedcoloring #family #familyofthree #fathermotherson #father #mother #son #germany #germany🇩🇪 #german #drinking #drinkingbeer

Today’s #workdrawing: Tyrone’s family - his niece Tricia, wife Asia, and daughter Queenie. - Tricia is Tyrone’s older sister’s daughter, who he ended up being her guardian after tragic circumstances. She’s got attitude like any teenage girl, and hates babysitting her cousin Queenie - she’d rather hang out at the mall with her best friend Carmen. Because of that, Tyrone often has to call up Cedrick as a last-minute boy-sitter whenever she bails; this leads to a lot of tension between the two teenagers despite Tyrone wanting the two to get along. Tricia claims she doesn’t like Cedrick, but Queenie thinks otherwise and gets jealous. - Tyrone met his wife randomly at a sports bar; they made a bet on which (American) football team would win, and Tyrone won, in which Asia had to go out on a date with him. At first, she didn’t like him, but after finding out that he takes care of his elderly grandmother while studying hard to become a doctor, she decided to give him a chance, and the two eventually got married and had their daughter Queenie. Asia owns and runs a beauty salon, which Freyja has given high ratings in her magazine. - Quinella, or “Queenie” as everyone calls her, is Tyrone’s adorable daughter who just started kindergarten. She’s mischievous, adventurous, and likes to run away from her father whenever she can - especially if he refuses to give her something she wants. She’s likes being around her cousin even though Tricia gets annoyed with her. Queenie is also very attached to Cedrick like a little sister, and gets jealous whenever he’s around Tricia, Carmen, or any other girl. — #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #originalcharacterdrawing #femalecharacters #sketchbook #dottednotebook #leuchtturm1917 #penart #pendrawing #inkart #inkdrawing #pilotpen #frixion #frixionball #frixioncolors

Ugh... Kimiko isn’t going to be enough to put an IV needle in; she’ll need the other nurse Bernadette to help, and then finally Cedrick to get it in with one go, lol. - I had a bit of a health scare last night that my fiancé had to take me to ER; I’m home from work just for today (doctor’s orders 😞). What happened I was driving home from work, and I had a sudden headache; my right side of my face and right arm was gradually going numb, which is super weird. So just to make sure it wasn’t a stroke or anything else serious, we went to the hospital. What the neurologist and doctor think happened was a complex migraine, in which numbness can occur if triggered; doesn’t help with the stress of commuting and working so many days straight and not sleeping enough - I’m a certified workaholic. - #needles are the worst, yet I’m just so over them at the same time with the number of times I’ve had to be poked and stabbed over the years, lol. I don’t mind shots or blood work, but freaking IVs I absolutely hate. It took not one, not two, BUT THREE PEOPLE to get an IV in me last night; they poked and stabbed both arms, and of course it was the guy who got it in his first stab (I don’t know if it’s just me, but male nurses, doctors, and lab techs seem better with needles; not being sexist, but it’s just personal experience). So my left elbow area has a nice little bruise that’ll be there for some time. *sigh* - Anyway, I’m feeling better now, but they did warn me if it does happen again, I’ll need a MRI done since the CT scans were clear. — #digitaldrawing #digitalart #ipadprodrawing #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacters #femalecharacter #malecharacter #doctor #nurse

Hr. Dr. Kasper wearing the #heartshirt at work - Part 5. (Maybe the end?) - And finally it’s Cedrick, his teenage son who works with him. And apparently the younger Hr. Dr. Kasper is jealous and wants the shirt for himself, lol. And it looks like he got a haircut - he traded the bun for a bowl for now. - These two often act more like brothers, and with Cedrick quickly catching up with his father in height and starting to sound just like him as his voice matures, people get the two mixed up. So it makes sense they try not to look alike as much as possible, but it doesn’t always work. — #digitalart #digitalartwork #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #autodesksketchbook #sketchbookautodesk #sketchbookapp #originalcharacters #orginalcharacterdrawing #originalcharacterart #doctors #malecharacters #fatherson

Hr. Dr. Kasper wearing the #heartshirt at work - Part 2. - The person he dreads meeting with whenever he’s wearing something new or something different - Dr. Tyrone Williams the pediatrician. - Tyrone actually used to be a student of the Herr Doktor when he was a substitute professor for Dr. DeValuer, and ever since then he’s always a bit of the prankster towards him. But Tyrone does admire him, so much that he often asks for advice on how to be a good father. Johannes Faustuz often tries to add in advice about marriage, but it’s often ignored since Tyrone thinks his mentor is a single father; it’s not until much later in a very awkward moment when Tyrone finds out who Hr. Dr. Kasper’s missus is. — #digitalart #digitalartwork #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #autodesksketchbook #sketchbookautodesk #sketchbookapp #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacters #doctors #jwandersonheartstripeshirt #heartstripeshirt

It’s #lefthandersday today! No, I’m not #lefthanded, but I have plenty of #lefties in my family (brother, grandmother, aunt, etc.) - So what about my characters? Cedrick is often said to be a clone of his father, but there’s one big trait he shares with his mother Freyja: he’s a leftie just like her. So for the Kaspers, 2/3 lefties rule. 🤚🏻 — #penart #penartwork #pendrawing #ink #inkart #inkdrawing #pilotpen #pens #frixon #frixonpen #frixonball #frixioncolors #erasablepens #moleskine #moleskinecahier #originalcharacters #motherson #mother #son #child #internationallefthandersday

Been very busy with work lately~ But here’s the Kasper couple Johannes Faustuz and Freyja home in Europe (suppose to be Kiel, Germany). I have two variants of the same pic, the line art with the colors used, and a greyscale version of the pic for anyone to color in. Might as well throw in the #drawthisinyourstyle option too. I would love to see what people create with this. A bit of a risky pic, lol. It’s the finished version of a picture I had on Freyja’s office wall. - Could say this is the Fantasy Concept since Freyja is in her Viking design while Faustuz has a completely different look compared to his usual mage design while still consistent with the overall theme. But at the same time, this could be another pic Freyja had her husband do with her for the magazine spread - which I’ll have a coworker (or more) be reading at the hospital, lol. Either way, the Viking war paint does look cool, and it was fun to color in. Pretty obvious why he’s black, red, gold and she’s blue, gold/yellow. — #digitaldrawing #digitalart #ipadproart #ipadprosketchbook #ipadprodrawing #sketchbookapp #originalcharacters #originalcharacterdrawing #couple #viking #warpaint

Is it #nationalpineappleday or #nationalsunglassesday ? Both! - Either way, Papa Kasper is wearing pineapple sunglasses as he drinks a pineapple coconut cocktail feeling pretty miserable after his team lost today in the World Cup. So drink up Faustuz - you’re going to need it. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #sketchbookapp #speeddrawing #speedcoloring #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #originalcharacterdrawing #malecharacter #hat #sunglasses #pinkshirt

Johannes Faustuz waking up to see it’s the Klimt the cat and not his wife Freyja. Both the cat and his wife have red hair and green eyes, so without glasses it’s hard to tell, lol. - So why was he sleeping on the couch?
