Richard Kasper (aka Death).💀 - Kept going back and forth with the background colors and colored/uncolored, but there’s just something about a bright sky blue background with yellow as a complement (also yellow has always been a color that gives me weird vibes when there’s a lot of it). Also used Motionleap (formerly known as Pixaloop) to add in some effects and vibrancy. — #originalcharacterart #digitalart #ipaddrawing #digitaldrawing #originalcharacter #frauv8_ocs #malecharacter #man #blond #glasses #furcoat #blue #cyan #red #yellow #pink #purple #violet #magenta #soul #autodesksketchbook #motionleap

2021’s holiday kiss.😘 - Freyja and her husband Hr. Dr. Kasper have been sharing a holiday kiss each year since I’ve been active on Instagram. My comfort zone with black and white and blank stares. 🖤💀🖤💀🖤💀🖤💀🖤 (seriously, I need to sleep~) - Another Kasper Family pic, this time with their mythical doggie Frl. Flicka (she’s a Hellhound/Doberman). Where’s Papa Ström? Erik’s finally back home in Sweden with Freyja’s four cousins. Another thing these two daddies have in common: Both have holiday birthdays!🧁 Tyrone loves it when it’s his birthday at work because everyone has brought food over for Thanksgiving. Hr. Dr. Kasper hates it when it’s his birthday at work because HE has to bring home-baked pastries and ice cream for everyone - even more so when it’s also Christmas time (where he’s from in Germany/Denmark, I read that it’s actually custom for the birthday boy/girl to bring the goods to work - WTF 😦) - Tyrone’s birthday is 27 November, which often occurs on a Thanksgiving Thursday.🦃 Thanksgiving is obviously his favorite holiday not only because it’s his birthday, but also because of all the amazing food his grandma and wife cooks and he gets to watch all the football he wants on TV with his family (he’s from Houston, Texas, so he’s fiercely loyal to his hometown team). Hr. Dr. Kasper was born a second shy of Christmas Eve on 23 December.🎄 Where he’s from in Europe, Christmas Eve is the day when gifts are exchanged and the tree is brought in for decoration, and his family thinks of him as the ultimate present - especially for his grandparents (Olaf wanted an heir after Richard, and Aina was so proud that her daughter Sigrid was even able to have a child). However, it was also a sad time because his mother Sigrid died on Christmas Day - therefore he can be a bit of a mopey grouch when the peak holiday season starts (it’s also bad luck to talk about birthdays early in his homeland, so he really tries to avoid anything associated with it as much as possible). — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #animestyle #frauv8_ocs #men #man #holidayseason #holiday #holidaybirthday #thanksgiving #christmas #turkey #christmastree #brown #red #grey #gray #black #white #falloutfits #winteroutfits #fallfashion #winterfashion

It’s another experiment with the #mentalcanvas app. ^^💛 I’m much happier with this pic using the app’s effects, but the thing is that I got lazy not coloring this in - and I’d would of gone insane if I had because of all the details I’d want and need to put in, and I’m still frustrated trying to get the black frame to be just right on the outside…😵‍💫 I even recycled an old pic of Richard’s hotel room to provide a background. I included a version with his girlfriend Sigrid (3rd Slide). ••• It’s back to the early 1980s with Richard testing out his homemade computer in the hotel room he rents out from distant relatives while he’s staying at Copenhagen to see Sigrid and occasionally work at the university (the Kaspers homeland is Jutland which is currently split between Denmark and Germany, so the overall family is scattered across the two countries). “Zimmer 13” is the reserved room for the patriarch of Kasper Family at the hotel, and as the current heir (after his older brother Heinrich gave up his right to marry Yoko) Richard gets access to it during travels across Northern Europe and Scandinavia; it’s also the same room where Richard and Sigrid would sneak away to avoid Aina and others whenever they want a moment alone.👀 — @mental_canvas #malecharacter #femalecharacter #originalcharacters #originalcharacter #man #girl #computer #plant #coffeemug #glasses #desk #lamp #hotelroom #room #ipaddrawing #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #blackandwhite #black #white

It’s November - or #movember with the emphasis on mustaches.🥸 There’s only one OCs that immediately comes to mind when it comes to mustaches: Einar Ström - Freyja‘s favorite cousin and lovely co-host of her TV show “FLASH FASHION”. Einar is Freyja’s third oldest cousin (after Ragnar and Werner, but before Gunnar [Freyja was the only girl in her family]) who loves fashion just as much as her. Einar and Freyja would play Dress-Up with Freyja’s mother Sonja’s clothes and makeup and Barbie dolls as children; as adults, they still love dressing up in outrageous outfits when the right occasions occur - such as award ceremonies and charity events. Because of having red in their hair, most initially think Einar and Freyja are brother-sister siblings (along with Gunnar who also has reddish hair; Ragnar has dark ash-brown hair while Werner is blond like Freyja’s father Erik). Einar also loves flirting with lots of men, especially with Freyja’s husband Hr. Dr. Kasper (he does this because he knows it makes Freyja upset just to tease her; what will surprise him is when Hr. Dr. Kasper will play along and pretend to flirt with him). — #malecharacter #man #originalcharacter #frauv8_ocs #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #autodesksketchbook #blowingkisses #brown #yellow #blue #red #redhair #bowlcut #mustache #suit

A few skin tone palettes I use for my OCs; I use similar colors when using alcohol markers. Some skin tones are trickier than others (especially fair and dark) due to not getting so dark and having the right amount of contrast between colors - if it’s any darker, fair skin turns into medium/olive skin; if dark skin is too dark, you can’t see any important facial details. — #frauv8_ocs #characterdesign #characterart #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #ocs #oc #digitalart #digitalsketchbook #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #autodesksketchbook #colorpalette #skintones #malecharacter #femalecharacter #man #woman

#sketchdump - just testing out the color palettes I made for skin and hair tones since Autodesk Sketchbook updated on my iPad. I still struggle a bit with skin tones, especially dark ones (medium skin tones are the easiest; fair skin tones can be tricky because if it’s too dark it pretty much becomes medium skin). As for hair tones, blond and grey hair are actually the hardest for me - dark hair like Tricia’s are the most easiest to color. So to say which OCs were the easiest to draw here? That’ll be Sigrid, Freyja, Kimiko, Vincent-Claude, and others with similar coloring (Freyja is also fun to draw realistically because she has freckles; Cedrick is still by far the easiest OC to draw based on design). A closer look at some of the Re-ment drugstore set items I unboxed earlier. (My live video is on my IGTV now for anyone who missed it) Aside from drawing, I also collect dolls and miniatures. It’s been mentioned to me many times, but yes - my dolls do look a lot like a few of my OCs (Cedrick, Tricia, Freyja); because of that, I do use them occasionally as models. And since I do have a lot of Re-ment items, I probably should be showing them off by doing more doll photography (I probably have over 1,000 pieces by now). — #rement #rements #rementcollection #drugstore #doll #dolls #miniatures #miniature #miniatureitems #rementminiatures #remenminiature #rementdrugstore #miniaturephotography #dollphotography

Richard Kasper with Hedy and Odin’s last litter of kittens Balder, Thor, and Loki. Hedy was named after the actress for her dark hair, while Odin was named after the Kaspers’ “Odin’s Eye” ability expressed as Heterochromia; each of their kittens were named after Norse gods based on their looks - the orange one is Thor, the grey one is Loki, and the white one is Balder. - As a Grim Reaper/Death, Richard normally isn’t fond of cats having extra lives and often chasing souls away like balls of yarn; but because he’s the incarnation of Death, cats are naturally drawn to him. Since his girlfriend Sigrid loves cats, Richard’s learned to tolerate them over time - even to the point he lets them sit on him (Hedy actually gave birth to her first litter on his lap). — #frauv8_ocs #frauv8ocs #originalcharacterart #originalcharacters #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #drawing #ipaddrawing #malecharacter #man #cats #kittens #blue #yellow #green #brown #black #white
