Johannes Faustuz wants to drown in guilt and depression not being able to help out at work since his suspension, and there’s no better way to do so than in a bathtub. But Freyja isn’t going to let that happen - she’s having too much fun trying to lighten up the mood with bubbles and a rubber ducky. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #animestyle #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #femalecharacter #couple #man #woman #bubblebath #frauv8_ocs

Freyja meets the newest member of the family - Stern the Amabie. Not sure how Rosemarie the Fairy or Junko the Hyōsube would feel having another girl in the creature menagerie, but Fritz the Wolpertinger could care less as long as he gets his turnips. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #lineart #animestyle #fishbowl #mythicalcreature #yokai #amabie #femalecharacter #originalcharacter #frauv8_ocs

There’s a new creature to add to the Kaspers’ unusual menagerie. It’s not a Meerjungfrau (read the highlight titled “MEERJUNGFRAU” if you want to know more), but an Amabie swimming in the fishbowl. - She was recently found by Klimt almost dried out under a tree where a red-tailed hawk family is nestled, most likely had escaped from being chick food. Hr. Dr. Kasper had to pry the poor thing out of his cat’s mouth before plopping her into a fishbowl to recover; he named her “Stern” for her star-like shape and having five limbs (two arms, three tails). - Amabie is a Japanese Yōkai that appears when there’s a danger to humans, especially pandemics; they’re good luck, and sharing drawings of them are said to heal ailments. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #animestyle #originalcharacter #malecharacter #man #yokai #amabie #cat #frauv8_ocs

The Kasper Siblings for karaoke night from their last get-together. Klimt is now part of the “Doghouse” club after destroying Mama’s entire toilet paper supply. Papa built a new storage unit that’s pet-proof, but he’ll have to go out to see if there’s any toilet paper left in the local store; otherwise, Mama will have to settle with tissues until the store has more. ——— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #originalcharacter #malecharacter #man #cat #frauv8_ocs

Happy 1st Day of Spring 2020!🚑🦠😷 Not the best time to have allergies like poor Cedrick (and myself) when COVID-19 is rampant. This time with the Williams Family watching Queenie’s favorite movie “Frozen” for who-knows-how-many times. Tricia is starting to miss her tutoring sessions with Cedrick despite not liking him (or anything else besides sports). Asia had to close up the family salon, open by appointments only; her jewelry shop is still open online. As for Tyrone, he’s staying with Johannes Faustuz at the hospital to keep his family safe from being infected by the virus; he often interrupts Queenie’s “Frozen Marathon” with a video call thru TV every day. - Feel free to color in the #lineart on the last slide, and tag: @frauv8 #colorthisinyourstyle_fv8 —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #drawing #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #femalecharacters #woman #girls #indoors #watchingtv #nighttime #stayathome #purple #frauv8_ocs

#repost of poor Uncle Hans getting his Elsa makeover. Now Hr. Dr. Kasper looks like a zombie at the hospital dealing with the virus. - I watched “Frozen II” last night, and it’s a hot mess with great music and visuals. I feel so sorry for anyone with little kids who demand to rewatch both movies and three side adventures (there’s a freaking LEGO one too!) over and over. - Which Disney film I can watch over and over again without being annoyed? “Emperor’s New Groove.” Love that movie. Only three months into 2020, 25% of the year, and it already feels like an eternity; not what we had in mind for the future. Social Distancing has not been easy, and it’s been hard for many couples and families around the world - especially for those who can’t be together due to work, travel bans, and quarantine. But when it’s all over, it’s going to be a happy time with everyone able to hug and kiss each other - maybe. — The Kaspers are all separated: Freyja is stuck in Sweden with her father Erik and four cousins, Johannes Faustuz is doing his best to help out at the hospital, Cedrick is at home taking care of the pets, garden, and creatures staying over (Tyrone’s family, the Williamses, on the other hand, are all huddled together stuck watching “Frozen” and “Frozen II” a million times non-stop❄️I’ll have to draw poor Tricia with Queenie sometime). - Freyja wants to be with her husband and son after being away helping her father for over a month, but it might be another month or so before she can get back with her family - assuming that she doesn’t get sick. - Faustuz misses holding his wife in his arms while sleeping, but now that she can’t come home, he spends more time working at the hospital; that puts him at risk spreading the virus, so he stays in his personal dorm/office and waits around until he gets called upon request. - Cedrick is upset that he can’t help his father, but not being an adult and being the only one left to watch the house and menagerie of creatures, he understands that he’s got a lot of responsibilities for a kid; he doesn’t want to admit it, but he also misses his mother. ——— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #drawing #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #comic #mangastyle #characters #malecharacters #femalecharacter #family #mother #son #father #halftone #black #white #frauv8_ocs #socialdistancing

It’s Saint Patrick’s Day today, but there’s no bar open due to corona (not the beer; bad joke). But for lots of people in the medical field, this is not a time to party with lots of patients needing extra care and attention. Let’s do our best to “Flatten the Curve” to help out our hospitals, nurses, and doctors so they don’t get even more overwhelmed - and so one day they can get that nice cold pint of beer for their hard work. 🍺 - Hr. Dr. Kasper is luckily wearing his green scrubs so he won’t be pinched (not that anyone would these days with Social Distancing), and would like some beer as he reads his newspapers on his down time. But with non-emergency surgeries put on hold, this oncologist doesn’t have much to do besides helping out everyone else at the hospital with whatever they need. Also, with his wife Freyja stuck in Sweden due to the European travel ban, there’s not much he can do at home besides wrangling a teenage son, two dogs, a cat, a pair of Wolpertingers, a Hyōsube Yōkai, a pink fairy, a man-eating tree sapling, and a wondering eight-legged horse. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #animestyle #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #stpatricksday #malecharacter #man #doctor #frauv8_ocs

Kimiko Abe and Vincent-Claude DeValeur (old drawing from two years ago on 2nd slide). And 3 March is Kimiko’s birthday, so her admirer is extra cuddly this time. - Vinnie is a bit of a womanizer chasing after anything female, but by far, his biggest crush has been Kimiko; he adores her naive nature and finds her so cute that he can’t resist snatching her up in his arms. Poor Kimiko doesn’t know how to react to his advances, so she tries to run away and hide; it’s not really known whether she really does like him because she’s so skittish and shy. So are they or are they not a couple? Eh... Even I’m not sure, lol. But I’ve been told they look cute together, so perhaps they will be a couple. ——— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #digitalsketch #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #autodesksketchbook #animestyle #originalcharacters #characterart #femalecharacter #malecharacter #couple #blue #frauv8_ocs

This actually happens quite often whenever the Kaspers go over for a visit to the Ström estate in Sweden. Papa Ström and Papa Kasper constantly fight each other to prove their worth, which scares off the four Ström nephews/cousins but infuriates Freyja (Cedrick, on the other hand, has fun watching his father and grandfather throw kicks and punches at each other). - Erik Ström never liked Johannes Faustuz ever since he first met him as a boy. He claims it’s because of the Kasper’s “diabolical” family history, low social class, and “impure” bloodline, but in reality, Papa Ström just doesn’t want to give his daughter to a man who is more capable than he is when it comes to killing rouge creatures. Erik also has some disappointment with his son-in-law choosing a career in the medical field instead of working for him at Ström Corporations. But one thing he does appreciate is that Faustuz is a man who willingly goes through Hell for the sake of family and friends. - Faustuz at first was frightened of Erik since he was obviously much bigger and was Freyja’s overprotective father. But as the years pass by, he looses respect for the older man as he increasingly becomes much taller and stronger. Faustuz also uses his brain to study up and train in the Kaspers’ secret business of cryptozoology, making it harder for Erik to ignore him whenever he needs assistance with his occult weaponry. After rescuing Freyja from an arranged marriage to a Bluebeard in disguise, and again saving her when she was pregnant with their son from a hungry Aswang, Faustuz finally had proven himself as a permanent asset to the Ström family. He appreciates his father-in-law’s old-school methods and unconditional love for Freyja and Cedrick, but he’ll never accept him as a role model as much as he does for Onkel Heinrich. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #drawing #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #characters #malecharacters #femalecharacter #fight #kick

Drew this while listening to BTS’ new album (which is awesome cakes - “Dionysus” is definitely a favorite). - It’s a rarity to see Cedrick alone with his mother Freyja. At first glance, people assume he’s either her boyfriend or younger brother; Cedrick also gets embarrassed whenever Freyja tries to act “cool” around him (she’s actually not that old, not 40 yet). Freyja also has the bad habit of babying and spoiling her son to the point he’s annoyed and wants to be with his father instead (obviously this makes her sad and want to spoil her son even more just to get his affection; she inherited this habit from her father Erik). Cedrick and Freyja speak to each other in Swedish, which adds to the cuteness between mother and son (Johannes Faustuz, on the other hand, finds it frustrating whenever his wife and son do so because he can’t understand Swedish). This is the one thing Cedrick does appreciate being able to do with his mother since it’s challenging for him to speak Swedish instead of his usual English or German. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #characters #originalcharacters #malecharacter #femalecharacter #mother #son #motherson #blue #pink #grey

Cedrick found something in his father’s specimen collection that he just can’t wait to dissect. - One thing about Kaspers is that they can’t contain their eagerness to obtain knowledge by all means, making them quite mad and insane doing so. —— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #doctor #madscientist #maddoctor #jarredspecimen #animestyle #frauv8_ocs #green

This would sound like gibberish to Tyrone and Bertie standing just outside of the stock room; normally Johannes Faustuz and Freyja would speak in English to each other, but to keep things more private, they switch to German (Freyja would speak in Swedish with Cedrick if she wants something kept secret from his father). - Freyja is an overachiever, always trying to get that extra stretch to get her work done quicker; she claims to have the strength of ten men, but that might be because she’s the only female in her immediate family (husband, son, father, and her four cousins - all men). Faustuz always worries about his wife constantly working and burning out (though the same can be said about himself because he’s also a workaholic); he also worries because Freyja had fallen once and got a concussion during a runway show. But with two Type A personalities running the family, it’s expected that they clash every once in a while. - Now... Tyrone suspects that his buddy here isn’t such a good guy when really Johannes Faustuz is just very protective of his wife’s identity. - It’s also not often Freyja is working at her boutique; she’s usually busy with other things, like filming new episodes, organizing a magazine spread, discussing stocks with her cousins, or if she’s really feeling ambitious, helping her father make new weapons for killing monsters. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #comic #originalcharacters #malecharacters #men #femalecharacter #frauv8_ocs
