The fairy returns!🧚‍♀️ (reminder on the second slide) The fairy was almost killed by Klimt the Weegie, so she still has a grudge towards the Kaspers despite being revived and stitched together by Cedrick. - So does Freyja have any turnips in her garden? No, she doesn’t. But which one? Beetle or the camper van? Perhaps the next “Wunderkind’s Notes” will clarify how big Mama Wolpertinger is in comparison to Papa Kasper. — #digitaldrawing #digitalart #ipadart #ipaddrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #femalecharacter #autodesksketchbook #motherson #animestyle #mangastyle #comic

So that’s what scared Klimt away. Getting rid of Freyja’s garden pests isn’t going to be an easy job for Johannes Faustuz this time. — #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #man #wolpertinger #blackandwhite #manga #comic #mangastyle #halftone #mythologicalcreature

Different art stages of this pic of Cedrick and Klimt. - It wouldn’t be Cedrick if he doesn’t have something that’s mismatched - this case his socks are opposite colors. His oversized sweatshirt also has the symbol of the black skull, the Kasper family’s emblem in the fantasy concept. - The color scheme has an earthy vibe, so nothing too vibrant aside from the expression notations and text. — #digitaldrawing #digitalart #ipadart #ipaddrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #lineart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #originalcharacterdrawing #malecharacter #teenageboy #cat #pottedplants #animestyle

Papa Kasper fell and cracked his glasses, so he’s really pissed off now. He was hoping that the family cat would take care of the creature, but the cat is running away. What would make Klimt the Weegie so scared this time? — #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #man #cat #wolpertinger #blackandwhite #manga #comic #mangastyle #halftone #mythologicalcreature

Looks like Wolpertingers can fly. That’s not good for Johannes Faustuz. His wife Freyja is going to be pissed~ — #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #man #cat #wolpertinger #blackandwhite #mangastyle #halftone #mythologicalcreature

Mama Kasper’s wrath has been unleashed, and she’s taking it out on Papa Kasper. But the Herr Doktor has a point - according to research, Skvaders were created as a hunting joke based off of regional mythical creatures. Skvaders also don’t have antlers or horns - Wolpertingers do. - I might make a “Wunderkind Notes” page explaining different horned and/or winged bird-rabbit hybrids. — #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #femalecharacter #malecharacter #woman #man #comic #mangastyle #yellow #grey #gray #white

Mama Kasper is extremely protective of her garden. Doesn’t matter if it’s cute or not - if it’s eating her plants, Freyja is going to get rid of it. And often she has Papa Kasper do the killing while she repairs her garden. - The Skvader is a bird-rabbit hybrid from an early 20th century Swedish hunting tall tale. But this little creature also has mini deer antlers like the American Jackalope, so it’s not quite a Skvader? — #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #femalecharacter #woman #skvader #mythologicalcreature #blackandwhite #comic #mangastyle #halftone

#happyfathersday! Here’s poor Papa Kasper with a newborn Cedrick; like many new dads, Johannes Faustuz is freaked out having no idea why his baby is crying. - Just felt like experimenting this time; I might make more stuff like this, but it’s no guarantee since it requires multiple pages lined up just right to create a smooth transition (I used iMovie). — #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #imovieapp #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #man #father #dad #son #baby #crying #blackandwhite #mangastyle #fathersday

Cedrick’s first pair of glasses. - I was 10 when I first started wearing glasses, just like my dad. How old were you when you first got glasses? The fairy will be alright. Obviously she’s really pissed that she was randomly caught by a huge fluffy orange cat (last slide is a reminder). And the poor thing is covered with bandaids and gauzes - Cedrick only has human-sized items to fix her. - They look cute, but fairies aren’t usually liked by the Kaspers; they annoyingly enjoy peeping at Johannes Faustuz and Freyja at night, make really loud cries of attention (think Zelda games), and leave unwanted fairy rings (mushrooms) on their yard and garden. Fairies also don’t like being held by human hands - thus they really bite hard. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #lineart #animestyle #originalcharacter #characterart #malecharacter #doctor #fairy #labcoat #blond #bowlcut #yellow #teal #white

Colored versions in one pic: Freyja Ström and Hr. Dr. Johannes Faustuz Kasper at ages 10-11 versus them at ages 39-40. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #lineart #animestyle #originalcharacters #characterstudy #characterart #characterdesign #femalecharacter #woman #girl #malecharacter #boy #man #children #couple #kiss #childhoodsweethearts #frauv8_ocs

It was the opposite many years ago, lol. Probably should put the two side by side and colored in one pic. - Like many girls prior up to the start of puberty, Freyja was much taller than the boys in her class; Johannes Faustuz was very short for his age, making him a target for bullies and skittish around girls. Regardless of the height difference, Freyja was immediately drawn to the class geek and would spend time reading together with him at the library where his aunt works. Like many people, her father Erik wonders why she’s so smitten with the boy; despite the hate and difficult times, Freyja and Faustuz managed to stay together for over thirty years. - Freyja likes to think her double-packed lunches are what caused Faustuz to grow up tall, but he’s just a late bloomer; he grew up so tall that she misses being able to glomp and smother him in her embrace. For a long time she was able to relive those memories through their son Cedrick, but now he’s getting way too old and tall for her hugs (not to mention it’s super awkward). — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #lineart #animestyle #mangastyle #blackandwhite #black #white #grey #gray #originalcharacters #malecharacter #boy #femalecharacter #girl #couple #children #childhoodsweethearts #kiss

Hair up? (1️⃣) Hair down? (2️⃣) Comment below to say which one is your preference for Johannes Faustuz. - I couldn’t decide which one I liked more, lol. For the character himself, the Herr Doktor prefers it loosely tied to the side; he will tie it up as required to keep his hair getting into his work, and if his wife thinks it’s a better option with his attire. - I just didn’t feel like coloring this one in, especially after last month’s project. And I felt like drawing these two again being cute and kissy with each other because why not.💏 I probably should draw them kissing when they were children next - Freyja was the much taller one when they were younger, lol. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #originalcharacters #femalecharacter #malecharacter #characterart #man #woman #couple #kissing #blackandwhite_art #black #white #blackandwhite #grey #gray #mangastyle #animestyle #lineart
