And the fairy is still pissed. Doesn’t help with Freyja calling her a cute little “Butterfly” instead of a fairy (“Schmettering” is one of my all-time favorite foreign words, along with “Pamplemousse” and “Yume”). — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #lineart #animestyle #originalcharacter #characterart #femalecharacter #woman #fairy #pink #green #orangeyellow

The fairy will be alright. Obviously she’s really pissed that she was randomly caught by a huge fluffy orange cat (last slide is a reminder). And the poor thing is covered with bandaids and gauzes - Cedrick only has human-sized items to fix her. - They look cute, but fairies aren’t usually liked by the Kaspers; they annoyingly enjoy peeping at Johannes Faustuz and Freyja at night, make really loud cries of attention (think Zelda games), and leave unwanted fairy rings (mushrooms) on their yard and garden. Fairies also don’t like being held by human hands - thus they really bite hard. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #lineart #animestyle #originalcharacter #characterart #malecharacter #doctor #fairy #labcoat #blond #bowlcut #yellow #teal #white

Colored versions in one pic: Freyja Ström and Hr. Dr. Johannes Faustuz Kasper at ages 10-11 versus them at ages 39-40. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #lineart #animestyle #originalcharacters #characterstudy #characterart #characterdesign #femalecharacter #woman #girl #malecharacter #boy #man #children #couple #kiss #childhoodsweethearts #frauv8_ocs

It was the opposite many years ago, lol. Probably should put the two side by side and colored in one pic. - Like many girls prior up to the start of puberty, Freyja was much taller than the boys in her class; Johannes Faustuz was very short for his age, making him a target for bullies and skittish around girls. Regardless of the height difference, Freyja was immediately drawn to the class geek and would spend time reading together with him at the library where his aunt works. Like many people, her father Erik wonders why she’s so smitten with the boy; despite the hate and difficult times, Freyja and Faustuz managed to stay together for over thirty years. - Freyja likes to think her double-packed lunches are what caused Faustuz to grow up tall, but he’s just a late bloomer; he grew up so tall that she misses being able to glomp and smother him in her embrace. For a long time she was able to relive those memories through their son Cedrick, but now he’s getting way too old and tall for her hugs (not to mention it’s super awkward). — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #lineart #animestyle #mangastyle #blackandwhite #black #white #grey #gray #originalcharacters #malecharacter #boy #femalecharacter #girl #couple #children #childhoodsweethearts #kiss

Hair up? (1️⃣) Hair down? (2️⃣) Comment below to say which one is your preference for Johannes Faustuz. - I couldn’t decide which one I liked more, lol. For the character himself, the Herr Doktor prefers it loosely tied to the side; he will tie it up as required to keep his hair getting into his work, and if his wife thinks it’s a better option with his attire. - I just didn’t feel like coloring this one in, especially after last month’s project. And I felt like drawing these two again being cute and kissy with each other because why not.💏 I probably should draw them kissing when they were children next - Freyja was the much taller one when they were younger, lol. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #originalcharacters #femalecharacter #malecharacter #characterart #man #woman #couple #kissing #blackandwhite_art #black #white #blackandwhite #grey #gray #mangastyle #animestyle #lineart

Klimt the Weegie has brought you a surprise Hr. Dr. Johannes Faustuz Kasper: It’s a dead fairy!🧚‍♀️ - The Kaspers’ family cat Klimt has a knack for finding tiny creatures of all kinds and offering them to both Cedrick and Johannes Faustuz. Cedrick being a surgeon does his best to revive the poor things while Papa Kasper gives the cat a scolding, only to get purrs and chirps in response - and more dead things. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #originalcharacter #malecharacter #characterart #cat #fairy #man #manbun #glasses #mug #blackandwhite_art #black #white #blackandwhite #grey #gray #mangastyle #animestyle

THE END OF MERMAY! OMG!!!😩 - I just had to end the storyline with Johannes Faustuz wearing a tropical flower Hawaiian shirt as he holds his new preserved mermaid specimen in a jar. And the Herr Doktor has more jarred specimens aside from mermaids, which can be a future idea for a drawing. - So what’s next? Aside from miscellaneous character drawings and other things, I could make more series like this - but hopefully limited to a few pages versus 25 pages (32 if you include the character sheets and “Wunderkind Notes” - which is A LOT). And the halftone coloring is kinda fun since I really like using textures and patterns, so it’s something that won’t go away soon in my art. - Comment below on what you think - perhaps even suggest what mythological creature should be featured to keep the Kaspers busy? — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #lineart #halftone #animestyle #mangastyle #comic #originalcharacter #malecharacter #man #doctor #mermay2019 #mermay #fijimermaid #mermaid

Oh Tyrone... If you only knew what your daughter had done, then you’d understand why. And we’re back with the Williamses, this time with Tyrone. He has no~ idea how much trouble his little Queenie has caused for everyone while he and his wife Asia were on vacay at Fiji. - And a slightly different look for the Herr Doktor - Johannes Faustuz has his ponytail up. But over time, that tight ponytail will droop down over to the side (it happens to me a lot with my hair ties, especially when my hair gets super long). - 2 more to go! Then I can draw other ideas regarding my characters, lol. Kimiko is alright - except for the unwanted attention from Vincent-Claude. Hr. Dr. Kasper is also back to his typical sloppy and slouchy self; Johannes Faustuz isn’t a fan of dressing up unless he absolutely has to. - 3 more to go!
