February issue of Freyja’s fashion magazine. @not_hrstrom is giving off Loki/Slytherin vibes with his hair slicked back... And not sure which colored version is best...🤔 (Muted, Saturated, Original) - “Jonah Fritz Ström” is Hr. Dr. Kasper’s pseudonym when he’s involved with his wife’s work and other situations involving the Ström family business (Cedrick is called by his middle name “Magnus” when he makes extremely rare appearances since he’s a minor). - Since the pandemic, Johannes Faustuz has been featured often in Freyja’s work due to his current job situation (furloughed/stand-by from the hospital and part-time teaching online as a Biology professor from home). Faustuz isn’t particularly enthusiastic about being in the spotlight - especially when Freyja has him wearing unconventional outfits for magazine spreads and show appearances (he prefers being in the background and out of sight); regardless, he’s more than happy to help Freyja in her latest projects when he’s not on call from Death or teaching on Zoom (Freyja’s been donating gowns and masks, shipping care packages, promoting local businesses, making live blogs, etc. while still helping her father Erik catch up with technology). — #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #lineart #animestyle #malecharacter #femalecharacter #couple #man #woman #originalcharacters #magazinecover #fashion #tuxedo #glasses #text #font #graphicdesign #black #white #red #frauv8_ocs

“I love ...” Oh my... Who’d knew Hr. Dr. Kasper had such a potty mouth? 🤣 (sorry - I don’t speak German, but as an English-speaker, sometimes I hear things in other languages that makes me go “WHUT?!”) - I also included a masked version in the 2nd slide (because we’re still all in a pandemic), the original “Dapper Dads” pic, and a heart cookie (Lebkuchenherz) in the end. — #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #malecharacter #originalcharacterart #originalcharacters #man #men #fashion #suit #pink #red #black #white #valentinesgift #valentines #valentinesflowers #valentinesday #ichliebedich #lebkuchenherz

Sigrid and Richard on their way back to her mother’s flower shop after a long chase around the neighborhood. — Sigrid would often be bullied and attacked by classmates on her way back home from school or the arcade, returning with cuts, scrapes, bruises, and broken glasses. Aina was constantly worried with a jar of healing ointment ready to treat her daughter’s wounds, hoping for a way to keep Sigrid safe; since Richard’s appearance, Aina insisted that he walk Sigrid home to deter further attacks. - Sigrid didn’t like Richard following her around (despite secretly crushing on him), so she’d jog or ride her bike far ahead of him - only to have Richard panicked, chasing and yelling at her (which also kept the bullies away, watching in confusion); Sigrid really enjoyed watching Richard running after her, especially when he’s wearing ridiculous athletic wear (it was the late 70s / early 80s, so men wore short shorts and cropped tops). But after an earful scolding from Aina, Sigrid reluctantly gives up the chase and lets Richard to escort her home safely - which quickly becomes her favorite time of the day since she can talk about school, video games, and new plants growing in her mother’s greenhouse. — #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #femalecharacter #couple #bicycle

It’s Groundhog Day!🦫 It’s also Sigrid’s birthday, making her a quirky Aquarius. ♒️ Sigrid’s nerdy, loves arcade games, a little tomboyish, grows flowers and makes potions with her mother, and rebellious having a boyfriend against school rules. — #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #femalecharacter #girl #nerdygirl #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #glasses #athleticwear #white #blue

Wear a mask or you’ll be seeing this guy sooner than you want.💀 - The design was based off a suggested image from Pinterest, though it also reminds me of the graphics I make at work... (it’s the sans-serif font and straight lines 😑) - I plan on making a quick note page about Grim Reapers (Kaspers are obviously not the only ones around, and Grim Reapers can be female depending on cultural reasons). — #autodesksketchbook #malecharacter #man #grimreaper #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #graphicdesign #typography #text #red #black #blue #glasses #hat #skullfacemask

Quick random drawing of Richard and Sigrid... ✍🏻 - Kinda feel a bit bad ending “Sigrid’s Diary” abruptly, but there isn’t more to the story after that point (Sigrid couldn’t write another entry and died). There’s the possibility of dropping out random entries/snapshots between February 1979 and December 1981, maybe a few from Richard’s point of view (though the way he writes entries in his journals are more like daily logs for data purposes), or maybe even focus on the two years Richard raised Johannes Faustuz or other points in his childhood (like how Faustuz met Freyja, visiting his grandmother Aina, etc.). - I really don’t have any plans for 2021’s art, and I don’t plan to draw as much - “quality over quantity” is the goal, but I won’t be surprised if I end up with more scribbly pics like this one.🙃 — #malecharacter #femalecharacter #couple #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart

Hr. Dr. Kasper and Freyja - Grim Reaper style.💀 (and separate alternative versions of the two) - This pic is giving me “Shaman King” vibes - I loved that anime growing up, and I’m uber excited for the reboot. I think it’s pretty obvious which character from SK had an influence on me (hint on last slide), but overall, the art style had always been an inspiration (anime and manga in general, but some more than others). — #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #mangastyle #animestyle #malecharacter #femalecharacter #couple #man #woman #grimreaper #skull #skeleton #fashion #dress #coat #hat #glasses #highheels #blackandwhite #frauv8_ocs
