“I love ...” Oh my... Who’d knew Hr. Dr. Kasper had such a potty mouth? 🤣 (sorry - I don’t speak German, but as an English-speaker, sometimes I hear things in other languages that makes me go “WHUT?!”) - I also included a masked version in the 2nd slide (because we’re still all in a pandemic), the original “Dapper Dads” pic, and a heart cookie (Lebkuchenherz) in the end. — #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #malecharacter #originalcharacterart #originalcharacters #man #men #fashion #suit #pink #red #black #white #valentinesgift #valentines #valentinesflowers #valentinesday #ichliebedich #lebkuchenherz

The end of Sigrid’s diary. Freyja can’t believe it’s the end, but it is. - Sigrid died two days after giving birth to Johannes Faustuz on Christmas Day; for “normal people”, she died from blood loss and infection, but it was Death himself who arrived and took her soul away - not before Richard was ordered to deal the final blow straight through her heart. Since Sigrid’s passing, Richard’s health deteriorated over the next few years from feeling guilty and responsible of his beloved wife’s death; briefly he had moments of joy with his son, only to quickly spiral into deep depression being reminded of Sigrid. Richard died in 1984 when Faustuz was two-going-on-three while they were staying over at South Africa; Faustuz only has one vivid memory of Richard from his childhood: listening to his father sing as he fell asleep in his arms. — #autodesksketchbook #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #mangastyle #blackandwhite #halftone #originalcharacters #malecharacter #femalecharacter #couple #frauv8_ocs

Sigrid writes about her first meeting with Richard on Valentine’s Day 1979. - Sigrid initially didn’t like Richard for obvious reasons, but there’s little hints that there are things she immediately liked about him (like his smile), and admitted she finds him attractive. — #autodesksketchbook #malecharacter #femalecharacter #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #comic #frauv8_ocs #ipaddrawing #digitaldrawing #blackandwhite #halftone

It’s Christmas!🎄 Hopefully everyone is hunkered down and staying safe/healthy this time around. Taking a break from the humans with the Kaspers’ oversized orange fluffball of a cat Klimt. As cute and cuddly as he is, Klimt has been a little monster this year almost eating up little mythical creatures, drinking out of Papa Kasper’s coffee mug, sitting on laptops and tablets during Zoom sessions, and destroying the toilet paper supply in peak quarantine. — #happyholidays #merrychristmas #holidayseason #ornament #norwegianforestcat #orangecat #cat #orange #red #yellow #green #pixaloop #motionleap #autodesksketchbook #ipaddrawing #digitalart #digitaldrawing

Another random quick outfit/pose drawing of this guy... Wasn’t sure which expression to do, so I included both. I’m still trying to figure out something more elaborate to draw for the season, but with work and feeling depressed about the state of where I live in comparison to other places in the world, it’s getting harder to look forward to making new things (and my birthday is coming up: it’s on Christmas Eve and 2020 is my “Jesus year” - more reason to hate this year). — #malecharacter #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #characterdesign #fashion #man

First pic of December 2020 (colored version). I finally made a coloring sheet to share for the holidays!🎄 (I should color it too...) It ended up being Freyja and her hubby Johannes Faustuz because Christmas just reeks of their homelands (the only thing in the pic that’s not Scandinavian/Germanic is “Feliz Navidad”, a nod to their current home in California). If anyone else wants to color it, tag me @frauv8 and #colorthisinyourstyle_frauv8 or #colorthisinyourstyle_fv8 so I can see your work. I’m too lazy to color this in. Took me all day to make it. Two versions too (look at the crib mobile in the next slides). - December 1981: Richard with a newborn Johannes Faustuz. Sigrid at this point had died after childbirth, at the end of the lifespan she had left from her father’s curse. Though the whole family was devastated by Sigrid’s death during the holiday season, the birth of child brought the family closer together. Unfortunately the stress of caring for a baby alone and the family business took a toll on Richard’s health, leading to his unexpected death and leaving Faustuz with his uncle Heinrich and his family. I thought about making the mobile Christmas-themed (since Faustuz was born on 23 December), but it’s a tiny bit early to be posting that stuff (it’s in the 3rd slide). And with Faustuz being born in the 1980s, there’s a few things some older Millennials might recognize in the Kasper nursery (I had to look up toys from the early 1980s; I’m a Millennial myself, but I don’t have many memories before 1992 and the toys I played with were mostly from the mid-1990s). — #autodesksketchbook #pixaloop #malecharacter #man #father #baby #babyboy #infant #son #nursery #crib #bedroom #toys #black #white #blackandwhite #digitalart #digitaldrawing #halftone

Page 9 - Cedrick has finally arrived! He’s completely out of breath, unable to speak in either German or English after pedaling from the Kasper residence to a garden center then the Williams’ house. Normally it’s a 5 Mi/8 Km trip one-way to the Williamses, but add in a trip to the local garden center in the opposite direction, Cedrick is one tired kid (he’s not old enough to drive yet). It’s also not as easy to find a pine tree sapling around the start of the Holiday Season during Quarantine (most have been grown and sold to become Christmas trees). The Chickcarney is more than happy to see any live pine tree to use as a portal to his spiritual home, but this one might need a little bit of growing more up for the Chickcarney to use it properly. (Cedrick is going to get an earful from his papa for buying a year-old pine tree sapling...) Also, Cedrick hardly calls his father “Papa” or “Vati” out of respect (he actually refers his grandfather Erik as “Papa”, so it adds to the weirdness and confusion calling his father “Papa”). — #autodesksketchbook #malecharacter #boy #bicycle #chickcarney #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #black #white #blackandwhite #mangastyle #animestyle #comic #halftone

It’s not Halloween anymore, yet I’m still stuck drawing my characters with body and face paint. Not feeling well with a severe migraine and reeling from watching the election results either. I guess I’m in a dark uninspired mood.💀 —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #sketchbookautodesk #animestyle #originalcharacters #characterart #characterdesign #femalecharacter #malecharacter #couple #vikingwarpaint #viking #magazinecover #black #frauv8_ocs
