It’s not Halloween anymore, yet I’m still stuck drawing my characters with body and face paint. Not feeling well with a severe migraine and reeling from watching the election results either. Day 31: Grim Reaper - #happyhalloween! The last outfit for 2020’s digital Inktober: Hr. Dr. Kasper in Grim Reaper attire. If anyone else aside from family, close friends, and other people involved with Death, mythical creatures, and the occult see him as a reaper, most likely they wouldn’t be around much longer - he’s often quick to identify his targets and take them out on their own terms (unless specified by Death himself; then he’s given the green light to kill by any means, and usually it’s not pretty). His weapons of choice are scythes and medical instruments made of mythic metals by Ström Corporations, his wife’s family’s business. Currently Johannes Faustuz is the only Kasper taking side jobs from Death, but Cedrick has been itching to make his debut working alongside his father just as he normally does in the hospital; both Freyja and her father Erik aren’t too enthusiastic with Cedrick becoming a reaper, hoping he would reconsider and join the Ström side of the family to become an occult weapons expert instead. Since residing in Los Angeles, he’s encountered another Grim Reaper: Officer Granger Rodriguez; occasionally the two will work together if Death has a though case in hand, but normally avoid each other as much as possible, even when working in their respective day jobs as a doctor and police officer. Granger also doesn’t like sharing her home turf with foreign reapers, but over time she has developed a liking for Johannes Faustuz and nicknamed him “Juanito”. — #autodesksketchbook #malecharacter #digitalart #digitaldrawing #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #man #inktober #inktober2020 #clothing #outfit #scythe #grimreaper #halloween #blacksuit #blackoutfit #outfitoftheday #digitalink

The dark side of the Herr Doktor revealed as he takes down a rogue monster with a Ström Corporations scythe. It’s gotta be quite a large one for Hr. Dr. Kasper to use a scythe because Kaspers are normally known for using scalpels, syringes, and other unusual surgical tools for soul reaping and monster extermination. - This was a really quick simple drawing, unlike the other pics of him for Inktober 2020. Probably because I wanted to draw something a bit more creepy as Halloween draws near. — #autodesksketchbook #malecharacter #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #man #maddoctor #scythe #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing

Hr. Dr. Kasper dressed up as a Grim Reaper, or “Juanito” as his fellow grim reaper Granger Rodriguez calls him. 2nd Slide is a cute bonus (still doesn’t reveal whether if he’s right or left handed; Cedrick and Freyja are officially left-handed, while Faustuz appears to be right-handed in most pics but he’s equally flexible with both), and 3rd Slide is another version of his Grim Reaper attire. — I might be a little bit early for Halloween and Dia de Los Muertos to be drawing this...😅 But I love drawing creepy things from time to time... And in black and white too, which is technically digital ink work that could be ideal for Inktober this year... - I plan on drawing Granger in her grim reaper attire which will be heavily sugar skull inspired, as well as Cedrick with Frl. Quick #charatersheet of Sigrid and Richard, circa 1979-1980. - When Richard first saw Sigrid at her mother’s flower shop on Valentine’s Day, he was not only lovestruck with her beauty, but was shocked seeing she only had less than five years to live using his Odin’s Eye on her; he figured out Death had sent him to watch over her on her final days of life. Sigrid’s mother Aina explained that she was cursed when she was a newborn by her own father who was greedy in extending his own life, leaving Sigrid less than twenty years. Richard was saddened, saying that as a teenager Sigrid should spend time with her friends and her boyfriend if she had one instead of working at the shop; Aina laughs, further explaining that Sigrid was a loner and has no boyfriend. Richard was then determined to woo Sigrid not only because he was in love with her, but also because he wants her to live the rest of her life to the fullest before Death comes for her. At first Sigrid was wary of his advances, knowing his reputation as a hotheaded playboy; she was reluctant to accept his weekly gifts of candy, perfume, and jewelry, but over time, she slowly lowered her guard to allow him a farewell kiss on the cheek. But after about a year, Richard’s lovesickness takes the best of him, making him pass out from fever and starvation. Sigrid felt terrible, afraid he was going to die because of her stubbornness. Aina comforts her daughter and tells her that Richard wasn’t going to die - he just needs to “spend the night with her” to cure his lovesickness, which Sigrid immediately protests since she’s never been with a guy before. After that memorable night, Sigrid and Richard were inseparable as a couple; they were married in two months, expecting their son the following year. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #sketchbookautodesk #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #characterdesign #malecharacter #femalecharacter #couple #frauv8_ocs

Sigrid standing by at her mother Aina’s specialty flower shop/living room located in Copenhagen, Denmark (the whole lower floor of the house is used as a store). Aside from flowers, cooking herbs, potions, and medicine are also sold. - Every day after high school, Sigrid works in the storage room trimming flowers for bouquets, potting bulbs and saplings, and extracting oils and sap from mythical plants. Normally she keeps herself out of sight to avoid classmates, especially other girls who bully her. But while restocking buckets of roses for Valentine’s Day in 1979, she instantly caught the eye of a traveling doctor known as “Playboy Dick” - Hr. Dr. Richard Kasper, youngest son of the “Deadly Black Skull of Kiel”. —— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #animation #blink #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #femalecharacter #girl #youngwoman #brunette #animestyle #purple #green #yellow #blue #orange #flowers #frauv8_ocs

#happymothersday! (One day too late...) I’m not a mother, but I’m appreciative for what all mothers do (I know I am for my mom). I can’t imagine how crazy it is to be a parent in these confined spaces and times, or having a baby with a scary virus floating around; and of course many nurses and doctors are mothers risking their lives for others. Kudos to all of these women. - So... Who’s this? This is the woman Hr. Dr. Kasper gets his middle (and preferred) name from - his mother Sigrid Faustus. She died a day after giving birth, but not before having a chance to hold her newborn son for a quick photograph. His father Richard originally wanted to name him “Magnus” meaning “Great”, but after his mother’s death around Christmas, he was named “Johannes” meaning “God is gracious“. Faustuz has been told that he looks like his mother, but it’s hard to say - Kasper men tend to have blond hair and odd-colored eyes just like their fathers before them (Hansel doesn’t because he’s half Japanese); but he definitely has long straight hair just like hers. ——— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #autodesksketchbook #animestyle #originalcharacters #characterart #femalecharacter #woman #mother #baby #blue #halftone #frauv8_ocs

One thing Tyrone really remembers about his wife: “Asia likes green.” (This fact was revealed when these two guys went lingerie shopping for Valentine’s Day) - The suit was originally made for Papa Ström, but he never wore it because he hated the color and modern style (modern suits have a slimmer coat and skinny or straight leg pant). Johannes Faustuz happened to find it stashed in the attic collecting dust and thought it might fit Tyrone (“Why let a perfectly made suit go to waste if someone else can wear it?”); the jacket mostly fits, but the pants are slightly short and loose at the waist (Tyrone is taller than Erik by two inches but weighs about the same). If Faustuz hadn’t found this suit, he planned on lending a loose-fitting cardigan for Tyrone to wear on top of a collared shirt since nothing else from his closet would fit (Faustuz is taller and slimmer than Tyrone). - Now what’s up with Asia, Tricia, and Queenie now that Tyrone is all dressed up for the date? ——— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacters #men #suit #animestyle #frauv8_ocs

Hr. Dr. Kasper is smiling under that mask; that’s not normal.😟 He’s really excited and hoping Tyrone will appreciate putting some effort in dressing up for his wife Asia in their date night. And he’s got the suit in Asia’s favorite color (it was mentioned when they went to Freyja’s lingerie boutique for Valentine’s Day). - Tyrone has mentioned that he’s always been impressed with Johannes Faustuz’s wardrobe when he’s not wearing black or green scrubs and wrinkled khakis and collared shirts for work; Faustuz admits that he just lets his wife Freyja pick out his outfits for the day and just wears them, even if he questions about their practicality and if his clothes make him look like a clown (he prefers to wear the bare basics when he’s not working: tanks, t-shirts, boxers, joggers, and sweatpants). ——— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacters #men #animestyle #frauv8_ocs

Father and son, Johannes Faustuz and Cedrick, in matching outfits based off of actual clothes; might draw a different version that shows their clothes in their entirety since I had to crop this so it fits in silly Instagram. Also seems like I can’t get over the color red even though Valentine’s Day has been over. At least it’s not an obnoxious bright yellow (*glares and gags looking at Minions and Sweden’s jersey* I’m so sorry, but that shade of yellow makes me cry because it’s such a difficult color to use without hurting my eyes). — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #animestyle #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacters #man #boy #teenageboy #father #son #blond #glasses #black #red #yellow #frauv8_ocs
