Happy 1st Day Of Spring!🌸 - Like last year, Cedrick’s eyes are red from allergies. This year, Cedrick has glasses like his father, an even bowlcut, and more of a younger teen look at age 13-14 rather his usual 15-16. Another small detail about his character design might be more noticeable now with limited coloring: he has odd-eyes. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #originalcharacter #malecharacter #characterdesign #characterart #teenboy #boy #skeleton #glasses #black #white #blackandwhite_art #blackandwhite #cosmosflower #flowers #bowlcut #mangastyle

Fantasy Concept once again with Sigrid and Death. Seems like I’m enjoying drawing a lot stuff in black and white on my iPad Pro lately.🤔 - Death enjoys devouring hearts as the quickest way to kill people, aside from slashing with his scythe. He usually kills anyone who sees him in his immortal form unless he feels kind enough to bargain. Death spares Sigrid when she offers a rare poisonous mushroom called “Death’s Black Skull” grown directly from the palm of her left hand. Being offered the mushroom named in his honor, Death immediately quells his wrath and decides to focus his attention on Sigrid as an experiment for his mortal form, the Half-Breed Human-Elf quack doctor Richard Kasper. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #originalcharacters #femalecharacter #malecharacter #characterdesign #characterart #fantasy #fantasyart #elf #skeleton #reaper #black #white #blackandwhite_art #blackandwhite #mangadrawing #mangastyle #comic #comicart

All six coworkers in one group shot, posing like a hospital drama. 😅 - Left to Right: • Dr. Leyon DeValeur - Geneticist; Director in charge of the hospital who randomly shows up when least expected; at first glance he looks clueless, but he’s very sharp and has a good memory. • Hr. Dr. Johannes Faustuz Kasper - Oncologist; protege to the Director, always enforcing the rules and can be a bit of a stiff; he can always be seen with a white “no.1 Dad” mug full of black coffee. • Dr. Tyrone Williams - Pediatrician; a bit of a prankster and a kind-hearted guy who tries his best; he enjoys working around the Kaspers, liking both their company and their snack-filled office. • Hr. Dr. Cedrick Kasper - Surgeon/Lab Assistant; a wunderkind working alongside his father who can be a bit of a hothead and brat; being a teenager, people often don’t take him seriously which adds to his frustration. • Dr. Fatima Khan - Cardiologist; a gentle, calm woman of few words; she enjoys mentoring younger colleagues and comforting patients feeling discouraged. • Kimiko Abe - Nurse/Nurse’s Assistant; the newcomer who’s very timid and klutzy; she develops a big crush on the older Hr. Dr. Kasper despite knowing he has a wife who’s very much alive. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #chatacters #characterdesign #doctors

Finally drew something in my #moleskinesketchbook this time, and I finally tested out a 5 pack of #ecolinebrushpens I bought some time ago. - It’s a different #character looking a bit 1970s retro, and the only OC that immediately comes to mind who could of been alive at that time as a college student is Leyon DeValeur. — #moleskine ##sketchbook #drawing #sketchbookdrawing #ink #inkart #inkdrawing #markers #markerart #markerdrawing #m_artcollection #kuretake #kuretakebrushpen #malecharacter #originalcharacter #glasses

Fantasy Concept: Sigrid the Blood Elf - Sigrid Faustuz was the second child and only daughter of the Elf King Spergeon. She was spared being killed as an infant, with her mother desperately wanting a daughter after raising a full-grown son. - Unlike the other Elf maidens, Sigrid couldn’t grow blooming flowers of life - she grew mushrooms of death directly from her hands. Because Elves are supposed to be creatures of life and creation, Sigrid was viewed as a genetic abomination and often shunned by her father and other purists only being able to cause rot and death in the forest. Sigrid also physically looked different from the other Elves with her jet-black hair and deathly-pale skin. Despite being a Blood Elf, she never obtained the blood-red eyes associated with the condition; she inherited her father’s aquamarine eyes. - Sigrid becomes a curiosity for Death in each of their encounters, seeing that she’s still alive being a Blood Elf and having the ability to grow poisonous organisms directly from her hands. Sigrid falls deeply in love with Death, thinking he truly cares for her in his mortal Human-Elf form as Richard Kasper; Death viewed her as an experiment to see if he is even capable of love and compassion despite his urges to kill and devour lives. After many decades of marriage living in a tiny swampy village, the two have a son despite their physical challenges. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #originalcharacter #femalecharacter #characterdesign #characterart #fantasy #fantasyart #elf #mushrooms #blackhair #black #white #blackandwhite

Another #characterdrawing. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I actually had a bit of fun with the color scheme, drawing Hr. Dr. Kasper wearing an older-styled lab coat, and having one of his signature character quirks: the “#1DAD” coffee mug he’s always seems to cling onto no matter what, either because he’s a caffeine addict or really does take pride in being a father (there’s actually a story in mind on how he got the mug). - I haven’t been as active as much as I want to - I’ve kind of been a bit in the dumps with work cancelled “indefinitely” (not kidding - it’s what my emails say), so my usual pep hasn’t been quite the same. I’m also trying to think up some other ideas to draw as well as plan to make some redraws of older stuff from the past to compare how much I’ve improved over the years. I’m also thinking about collaborations if anyone is interested, so yar... I really don’t have much else to say. I do plan on making another live video showing off new supplies I’ve gotten and updates on personal projects. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #originalcharacter #malecharacter #characterdesign #characterart #autodesksketchbook #doctor #labcoat #glasses #coffeemug #mug #blond #blue #white #orange #yellow #purple

Fantasy Concept: Death in His Immortal Form - Death is an immortal being created by the goddess Fate to serve as her right-hand man. He keeps tabs on people’s actions and maintains the balance of power and life. Unlike his creator, Death is rarely appreciated and worshipped, making him very annoyed with the world. He’s often crass, easily bored, and does his job without mercy. No one knows his whereabouts except for Fate. - Despite his frightening appearance, Death is actually quite a prankster. He’s also willing to make deals with people at the cost of something precious. Death is not a very affectionate being, but does care deeply about fairness towards others based on their actions - which explains why he spared killing his future wife Sigrid when she offered him a rare mushroom she grew from her hand. Fate does get upset and jealous when Death gets sidelined with his village and family, setting up a disaster to get him back to work as her servant once more. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #originalcharacter #malecharacter #originalcharacterart #characterdesign #death #skeleton #mushrooms #black #white #blackandwhite

Fantasy Concept: The Original Kasper Clan - Richard and Sigrid with their newborn son Johannes Faustuz. - Richard was originally Death, the goddess Fate’s right hand man in maintaining global order. He grows bored one day, wanting to roam the world to study its inhabitants for fun and curiosity. Fate grants him his wish, giving him a mortal disguise as a traveling quack doctor of “mostly Elf and some Human” ancestry. Most of his medical wares do work - just not as immediate as people hope, which often leads to confrontations and beatings leaving him often penniless. - Sigrid is the daughter of the Elf King Spergeon Faustuz. She was born a Blood Elf, a rare genetic anomaly in which instead of creating blooming flowers of life she grows mushrooms of death; her hair is also jet black instead of the platinum blond all normal Elves have. She was spared death at the behalf of her mother and brother with the condition that she would never marry and have any children. - Sigrid accidentally meets Richard in the forest as he transforms from his skeletal form into his flesh form. He thought about killing her for seeing him in his immortal form, but immediately spares her when she offers him a rare poisonous mushroom from her hand. They meet again at a night market where he was beaten and robbed of his goods; Sigrid takes him into her father’s palace out of pity so he can heal. The Elf King grows wary of his daughter’s affection for the mysterious man, exiling her after seeing the two share a kiss. Richard takes Sigrid to his newly founded village with other exiled Elves and Human-Elf hybrids for safety. The pair marry and eventually have a son together, founding the Kasper Clan in charge of the village. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #autodesksketchbook #family #motherfatherson #father #mother #son #child #baby #infant #fantasyart #fantasy #elf #characterdesign

Poor Cedrick trying to be nice with Tricia this time now that he knows she plays the same app he plays when he’s not busy. - Normally these two don’t get along with Tricia always ditching babysitting duty, and Cedrick having to help her with homework and babysitting in her place. Tricia also refers Cedrick as either “Dutch Boy” or “Dork” because of his appearance, awkwardness, and being a few years younger than her. Cedrick doesn’t think much of her other than being a bully and lazy, but also full of potential if she can get her act together for a sports scholarship (she’s a great volleyball player). Maybe they’ll get along later in life, but until then as teenagers, there’s room to grow up. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #originalcharacters #autodesksketchbook #teenagers #onthephone #teengirl #teenboy

Back to the Kasper Fantasy Concept with Johannes Faustuz, who’s looking a little bit more skimpier than usual showing off his anatomy. 😅 - This time I made his doctor’s mask and hat simpler by removing the goggles and strands of beads. His hair looks longer without it tied in half, and his ears are slightly pointed to indicate he’s part Elf (his mother is a Blood Elf, a mutated version of a normal Elf). He still has round glasses, a Death Scythe, and his distinctive clan marks (mainly the Black Skull to show he’s a descendant of Death himself). Faustuz holds a poisonous mushroom in his hand, something Necromancer Mages like himself collect for food alongside insects, slimes, vermin, plants, zombie flesh, and other types of stuff most think of as disgusting and toxic. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #drawing #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #malecharacter #characterdesign #character #mage #necromancer #fantasyart #magehat #plaguedoctor #plaguedoctormask #mushroom #blackhat #blondhair #scythe

Another #digitaldrawing via #autodesksketchbook. I included the #lineart for anyone who wants to color Cedrick in. Tag it #colorthisyourstyle @frauv8 so I can see your version. 🤗 - With the way I colored Cedrick, he’s wearing a grey tank top, black track pants, green Germany track jacket, and Adidas sandals with colorful techno bands. - Cedrick is also eating a bag of his favorite candy: salted black licorice. Salted black licorice originated in Northern Europe and was used as medicine for coughs and clearing airways (basically cough drops). It’s an appropriate favorite candy for my OC because he is from Kiel, Germany - it borders Scandinavia where the candy is popular. Cedrick is also a doctor, so it’s kinda a nod to licorice’s medicinal use. But it’s not an everyday treat or else it’s a trip to the hospital. - Side Note 📝: Are those #haribo salted black licorice pretzels any good? I always liked black licorice (my brother and I as little kids would pick out the black jellybeans because they were black licorice flavored), but I never had it salted. I’ve heard it’s gross, but that’s also because a lot of Americans don’t really like black licorice in the first place. — #digitalart #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #originalcharacter #malecharacter #blond #blondhairblueeyes #bowlcut #adidas #bagofcandy #sportswear #athleisure #athleticwear #trackpants #trackjacket #sitting
