Page 5. - I made three versions: •1) Plain old English for simplicity; it only shows how angry he is. •2) Most likely botched German with an English subtitle that matches the bad French with English subtitles I had done earlier in Page 2. Seriously - my brain hurts after writing in French and German, but it’s a character trait I want to show in some form whether it’s right or wrong. 😭 •3) English inside a speech bubble with German flag colors 🇩🇪 to show that he’s speaking in German. It’s the other option in mind to use if I can’t write either French, German, or any other language properly but want to show that the character is speaking that language. It’s probably my best option to use though it can look a bit tacky. - With that explained, which one looks like the best option - 1, 2, or 3? He absolutely hates being called Hans (Hans is his cousin Hansel’s/Hanzo’s nickname), and often gets mistakenly called Jonah. Page 2. Whew~ I had to squeeze my brain and use Google a bit to get the French right. I’m ashamed to say that my two-and-a-half years of studying French has been reduced to baby talk, and half-year of German is now just mere random specks of Scheiße. Seriously - you don’t use it, you really loose it. 😓 I can read both languages better than I can speak them, and I can recognize them instantly when I hear/see them, but still, it’s really hard to understand and put things in the right grammar when you haven’t touched it much in years. Ack - What am I doing to myself?! It’s another #comic in the making! WHY~😓😫😭😪😑 - This time we have Johannes Faustuz and Vincent-Claude. These two are in a way close, almost like brothers with Leyon being a mentor to the Herr Doktor and the father of Vincent-Claude. I’d start complaining when it gets below 40F/4C, which happens to be about the same temperature inside the production truck I work in during the winter. I don’t mind the cold during the day; it’s just when the sun goes down or when I’m stuck inside for work is when I start getting uncomfortable, especially if I’m not wearing the right clothes. And I know there’s colder than 40F/4C - it’s snowed here once four years ago, and even that is obviously not the coldest it can get. There’s always someplace else that’s much colder. Now I can’t stop drawing formal awards attire. Ugh. 😑 - This time it’s a flashback when they attended an award ceremony for the Nobel Prize. Cedrick is missing his front two teeth just like I did when I was a little kid about 6-7 years old. Johannes Faustuz started growing out his hair longer, and Freyja started her job working as a TV fashion show host. Freyja wears #adidas just like their son Cedrick - expect for the few times she wants to wear her husband’s kitty shirt, lol. And I actually own the same #hellokitty #puma shirt that Johannes Faustuz is wearing here. Puma just keeps taking my childhood favorites (besides Hello Kitty, Puma partnered with Barbie). - So yep, it’s pretty obvious that I like Adidas over Puma and Nike. It’s mainly because of their vivid colors and simple designs, they have many options to customize stuff, and their shoes are sooooo much more comfy compared to the Vans I used to wear for work (half the time I’m standing at my station and I have to walk a ways from the parking lot everyday). Oh how I miss #drawing on my iPad Pro, and boy do I miss drawing #modernfashion after drawing all those fantasy versions of my #characters. - For these two, Cedrick wears only #adidas while his father Johannes Faustuz mostly wears #puma. @adidas and @puma were founded by the rivaling Dassler brothers Adolf and Rudolf (think of the brothers like those in Twix candy bar ads - seriously). It’s fitting for the two Kaspers since they compete with each other as if they’re brothers. - My fiancé makes fun of me liking #sportswear, but sorry (not sorry), I like wearing it because it’s comfy and I actually do get random people commenting on how good it looks on me (my green Germany jersey and my floral jersey dress gets the most attention).
