I originally planned to draw 4 more characters, but I’m so tired~😑💤
-
Here are the missus:
• Freyja Ström 🇸🇪 (Married to Hr. Dr. Kasper)
• Asia Williams 🇺🇸 (Married to Dr. Williams)
Both are ambitious beauties who married men that most people would be scratching their heads in confusion to figure out why. For Freyja, she thought how Asia and Tyrone met was really romantic; as for Asia, she’s still in disbelief that her favorite TV idol is married to someone she sees as a dork and lacks style.
-
Freyja was a new student from Sweden when she first met Johannes Faustuz, who was the classic class geek. She grew very interested in him when she saw him read books such as “Great Expectations” alongside science and comic books at the library, and felt pity for him once she found out he was a poor orphan raised by his aunt - so much that she often brought two lunches from home so she can feed him and he can “grow up nice and tall” (he was much shorter than her at the time). The two children grew up in love despite her father’s disapproval, which led her to being disowned for several years until Cedrick was born. So it’s Beauty and the Geek/Rich Girl meets Poor Boy for Freyja and Faustuz.
-
For Asia, she lost a bet against Tyrone regarding sports, which he had bet to take her out to dinner. She obviously didn’t find him attractive and still can’t stand his terrible jokes, but one day she found out that Tyrone takes care of the grandmother who had raised him while studying hard to become a pediatrician and working at the local gas station. This made her rethink how she should treat Tyrone, and from there the two got married and had their daughter Queenie.

Been a while since I’ve done a #workdrawing in my mini #leuchtturm1917 #sketchbook/#notebook .
And a glimpse of another thing I like snacking on while I’m at work (an earlier work pic photo in my Instagram feed show Skyflakes).
-
It’s another pic of Cedrick sporting his new #bowlcut hairstyle.

Fantasy Concept:
Something has frightened Princess Freyja, making her run into Faustuz’s arms for safety.

Another one, lol. 🤦🏻♀️
Definitely a test run for #inktober.
-
Wanted to do something different with Johannes Faustuz’s hair this time, and he has a Jared Leto vibe with this style. Faustuz decided to wear one of his son’s sweaters; I almost had him wear a cartoon character sweater (which are on trend right now for young men), but a multi-textured top is a bit closer to his tastes plus it’s a bit more appropriate for his age. Also some #rosecoloredglasses to top things off.

I know I’m suppose to be taking it easy and not do much today after yesterday’s trip to the ER, but I can’t help from working on something and keep being busy. 😫
-
I could say this is a little hint/preview of what my #inktober pics might look like - it’s not a guarantee because I’d be working on many days, which limits what I can do.
I have September’s and October’s #birthflowers drawn here: #cosmos #marigold #calendula #aster #morningglory #forgetmenots
-
And yes, Cedrick has succeeded in taking his father’s shirt this time, still has his new #bowlcut, and is wearing #aviators very similar to what Johannes Faustuz wears.
We’ll see what his father will take from his son’s wardrobe in due time, lol.

Ugh... Kimiko isn’t going to be enough to put an IV needle in; she’ll need the other nurse Bernadette to help, and then finally Cedrick to get it in with one go, lol.
-
I had a bit of a health scare last night that my fiancé had to take me to ER; I’m home from work just for today (doctor’s orders 😞).
What happened I was driving home from work, and I had a sudden headache; my right side of my face and right arm was gradually going numb, which is super weird.
So just to make sure it wasn’t a stroke or anything else serious, we went to the hospital.
What the neurologist and doctor think happened was a complex migraine, in which numbness can occur if triggered; doesn’t help with the stress of commuting and working so many days straight and not sleeping enough - I’m a certified workaholic.
-
#needles are the worst, yet I’m just so over them at the same time with the number of times I’ve had to be poked and stabbed over the years, lol.
I don’t mind shots or blood work, but freaking IVs I absolutely hate.
It took not one, not two, BUT THREE PEOPLE to get an IV in me last night; they poked and stabbed both arms, and of course it was the guy who got it in his first stab (I don’t know if it’s just me, but male nurses, doctors, and lab techs seem better with needles; not being sexist, but it’s just personal experience).
So my left elbow area has a nice little bruise that’ll be there for some time. *sigh*
-
Anyway, I’m feeling better now, but they did warn me if it does happen again, I’ll need a MRI done since the CT scans were clear.

Pretty obvious what inspired me to draw this pic - I’m going to @disneyland!
-
Got the whole Kasper family this time, each one dressed up based off a character: Papa as #goofy, Cedrick as #donaldduck, and Mama as #minniemouse with a cute #mickeymouse #tsumtsum in hand.
Of course like many kiddos at Cedrick’s age, it’s so not cool to match with your dorky parents; but he’s definitely very interested in eating that #churro Papa is holding (you can’t resist them there - they’re soooo~ yummy).

It’s practically #fall with stores all stocked up with sweaters - which doesn’t make any sense here in SoCal because it’s still like 💯 degrees outside!
Plus side is that the pumpkin drinks are back (I’m currently in love with Jamba Juice’s pumpkin smash smoothie - it’s so good ~).
-
To celebrate, Mama Kasper gave her boys an update for the #fallfashion season:
Cedrick’s hair is no longer asymmetrical - it’s an even #bowlcut for now; his clothing is also very #kpopfashion inspired, which he’s a big fan of.
Johannes Faustuz still has his long hair in a messy #manbun and #aviators (and has his #heartshirt on again, lol), but with cooler weather on the way, why not grow out a #beard?

It’s a #repost/#redo of my #inktoberprompt for this year -
I just felt like making a nicer, cleaner version with all my slots filled up this time in a fresh #moleskinecahier specifically for #inktober.
-
#inktober2018 for me is all about #flowers (with an occasional original character if I want).
B1-B4 are meant to be “Bonus Pics” either during October or after the 31st, while A1-A7 are either alternatives/additional flowers to use (which can also be more “Bonus Pics”).
-
Feel free to use with the tags @frauv8 #frauv8inktober2018prompt so I can see your art - I’d love to see what you make! ❤️

Something I haven’t posted up yet - #workdrawing testing the cheap Crayola blending markers I got.
Nice colors, blendability is mediocre; I’m going to stick to Master, Ohuhu, Hobby Colour, or Copic for blendables, but for a young child learning, they’re a okay start (I’d recommend Ohuhu).
-
And it’s a kid Cedrick and his father Johannes Faustuz.
I should make like a pic with all the crazy hairstyles and haircuts these two had over the years, lol.

It’s #grandparentsday on the 9th.
👵🏻🧓🏼👴🏽
My dad had me talk with my grandma earlier today right after I got home from work, lol.
-
For today’s #digitaldrawing, it’s Baby Cedrick and his #grandfather Erik Ström (Freyja’s father).

Hr. Dr. Kasper wearing the #heartshirt at work - Part 5.
(Maybe the end?)
-
And finally it’s Cedrick, his teenage son who works with him.
And apparently the younger Hr. Dr. Kasper is jealous and wants the shirt for himself, lol.
And it looks like he got a haircut - he traded the bun for a bowl for now.
-
These two often act more like brothers, and with Cedrick quickly catching up with his father in height and starting to sound just like him as his voice matures, people get the two mixed up.
So it makes sense they try not to look alike as much as possible, but it doesn’t always work.

Hr. Dr. Kasper wearing the #heartshirt at work - Part 4.
(Specifically it’s a #jwandersonheartstripeshirt, lol)
-
It’s Kimiko Abe the nursing student this time.
And what young lady these days wouldn’t be into #kpop (specifically #BTS, lol).
Plus Johannes Faustus tries his best to divert her attention back to work instead of his shirt (and admiration for the band).
-
Kimiko is from Yokohama, Japan studying nursing abroad; she’s extremely shy, skittish, and often is klutzy.
She does have a tiny bit of a crush on the Herr Doktor, so often she tries to impress him with little notice; as for the other Hr. Dr. Kasper, she hates Cedrick and is jealous of him for being so perfect with little effort.

Hr. Dr. Kasper wearing the #heartshirt at work - Part 3.
-
It’s his boss and colleague, the hospital director Docteur Leyon DeValuer this time.
-
The director has been Johannes Faustuz’s mentor since he was a wee med student, and is his partner when it comes to advanced lab work (Cedrick will occasionally help out if he’s not busy with operations or sleeping); the two are co-winners of multiple awards, and in this made up universe, are winners of a Noble prize for developing a treatment for cancer that doesn’t involve chemo.
-
Dr. DeValuer often treats the Herr Doktor as a son since he’s close in age to his own son Vincent-Claude; but Dr. DeValuer can also turn face on Hr. Dr. Kasper for whatever reason whether it’s for fun, rivalry, or just to see his protégé suffer in misery (i.e. this year’s World Cup was brutal for Faustuz but pure joy for Leyon).
-
Despite their differences in personalities and nationalities, these two together unite to be the most feared and respected doctors in the hospital: Hr. Dr. Kasper is known for his death glares and strict enforcement of rules, while Dr. DeValuer often sneaks up on people with a cool smile.

Hr. Dr. Kasper wearing the #heartshirt at work - Part 2.
-
The person he dreads meeting with whenever he’s wearing something new or something different - Dr. Tyrone Williams the pediatrician.
-
Tyrone actually used to be a student of the Herr Doktor when he was a substitute professor for Dr. DeValuer, and ever since then he’s always a bit of the prankster towards him.
But Tyrone does admire him, so much that he often asks for advice on how to be a good father.
Johannes Faustuz often tries to add in advice about marriage, but it’s often ignored since Tyrone thinks his mentor is a single father; it’s not until much later in a very awkward moment when Tyrone finds out who Hr. Dr. Kasper’s missus is.

Hr. Dr. Kasper wearing the #heartshirt at work - Part 1.
-
The first one to greet him is Dr. Fatima Khan the cardiologist.
And she can’t help but love all the cute little red hearts - it’s her job to take care of hearts, lol.
-
You’d think it’d be Cedrick the first to see his father, but Freyja will be dropping him off later in the day this time (Cedrick isn’t quite old enough to drive on his own yet at age 15).
-
Another fun little detail: Johannes Faustus is wearing Pumas; Cedrick wears Adidas.
It’s a reflection of how the two Hr. Dr. Kaspers can be a bit competitive at the hospital despite being so similar.
