“Yes! Go Blue! 🇫🇷”
Vincent-Claude is excited that his team advances to the quarterfinals.
Aside from France, I’m really excited for Sweden and Belgium. If I recall correctly, neither Sweden or Belgium has won a World Cup, so it’d be exciting to see one of them win. Ditto with Denmark and Switzerland.
If Brazil wins... meh. They win too much, lol.

Is it #nationalpineappleday or #nationalsunglassesday ? Both!
-
Either way, Papa Kasper is wearing pineapple sunglasses as he drinks a pineapple coconut cocktail feeling pretty miserable after his team lost today in the World Cup. As a man of his word, he’ll be modeling for his wife’s magazine since her team made it to the knockout round. So drink up Faustuz - you’re going to need it.

She lost the bet, but she rocks the oversized shirt look.
-
A second glance, she looks a lot like her husband with that grumpy expression and color combination of #white and #khaki. All she needs is a pair of retro glasses, lol.

#teamsweden is ahead of #teamgermany so far.
Not looking good for Papa Kasper with his bet with his wife.
Cedrick is playing both sides, more so now that Mama Kasper bought him a bigger jersey.

Faustuz was about to say something regarding her response, but not saying it because it can be a touchy subject.
-
Klimt their cat is there, and Faustuz has his glasses off - meaning things are getting more heated between him and his wife Freyja. We’ll have to wait and see which of the two wins next week, lol.

Argh!
I stayed up way too late making this! 🤦🏻♀️

If 🍝wasn’t a big enough hint, it’s #hetalia !
I know it’s outdated, but I’m sure there’s people who miss these characters. And I only used official characters from the series, so that’s why not all of participating countries are here.

My original characters from #Germany (Cedrick & Faustuz), #Sweden (Freyja), #Japan (Kimiko), #England (Rufus), and #France (Vincent-Claude).
It’s a little hint of what’s to come - I think people who know me from Deviant Art know what I’m talking about. 😛
(Hint: 🍝)
This was a tricky pic to make too, to make it scroll left to right. Also the jersey details were a teeny bit tedious, lol (research).

With World Cup starting later this week, who remembers these old pics I made during 2010’s World Cup? Hetalia was the thing at that time, it was #Spain who won that year, and we had the lovable German psychic octopus Paul. Who knows what shenanigans will come up this time, lol.

World Cup is coming up~~~~
Idk why I get excited for it (I’m American, and Team USA failed to get in), but I enjoy watching soccer/football. It might be residual from living in Italy as a child, lol. And there’s so many teams I really want to root for (🇩🇪🇸🇪🇮🇸🇲🇽🇯🇵🇰🇷🏴🇩🇰🇫🇷etc. Still meh about 🇧🇷 despite them usually playing well) since USA isn’t there (and in a way, it’s something the world can probably enjoy without having to deal with some annoying orange-skinned American who can’t stfu).
-
Anyway, I looked at the team divisions to see how they’re grouped together, and Group F... Damn. 😑 90% of the teams I like are all there, lol. So that’s going to be fun to keep track of since it’s Battle Royal (or Thunderdome as one of my co-worker would say, lol).
-
And it happens to be funny that my original characters Freyja (🇸🇪) and Faustuz (🇩🇪) would be pretty divided by the matches in Group F. And their poor son Cedrick (?) would be stuck in the middle.
So here’s a silly iPad digital doodle of their quarrel.
It’s really stupid, lol... 😞
