Not too far away from Los Angeles is Santa Anita Park, a historic horse racetrack where I work as a Graphics Operator. Earlier in March was the Santa Anita Handicap (aka ”The Big ’Cap”); sometime in April will be the Santa Anita Derby, one of the last big races to pick up points for the Kentucky Derby racing later sometime in May (part of the US Triple Crown, including the Preakness and the Belmont Stakes).
Since Freyja is a celebrity in this made-up version of our world, she’d love to visit the racetrack for publicity events with her family – especially with her husband and father (her son Cedrick wouldn’t enjoy being there all dressed up in a suit).
Freyja has a flute of champagne in hand, while Faustuz has either a “Lucky Baldwin” (a drink exclusive to the race track) or mint julep.
