Itās that time of the year again – the busiest day of the Winter/Spring racing meet at Santa Anita Park: Santa Anita Derby Day.
This year of 2022 on Saturday 09 April features 12 races – which means a very long day for me inside a production truck clicking buttons to make the jumbo board all pretty with graphics and numbers while people outside enjoy all the fun. If you happen to visit/live in the Los Angeles area, feel free to visit the track and absorb the historic atmosphere (the horse smell isnāt that bad š“ – my dad would always say āThatās money youāre smelling!ā wherever thereās animals around, lol).
