It feels a bit off…
I think it’s a combination of my brushes being too fat and being tired/lazy this round…😓
I’ve been feeling burnt out, and my right wrist has been hurting lately…😖
And yes, that’s my actual handwriting - I still write in cursive unlike most people my age and younger (it’s a lost art and great for calligraphy).

Delivery for Sigrid!
… except she’s not happy with who came with it.
Actually…
She’ll be eating him as well.💀
-
Sigrid wasn’t always the nicest to Richard when they first met, especially knowing his past as a playboy, being a Kasper/Grim Reaper, and his age (Sigrid calls him an “old man”, but he’s not old - just older like a brother or cousin).
But deep down inside, Sigrid had always liked him and wanted to have him for herself.

• Circa 1981: Sigrid and Richard are finally engaged.
The following month they were married, and at the end of the year had their son - followed with Sigrid’s death as a consequence of her life curse.
Richard dies in 1984, leaving behind a toddler Johannes Faustuz in his brother’s care.
…
Sigrid was forced to leave school as soon as her classmates reported seeing her playing games with Richard at the local arcade (students are not allowed to date; once found out, it’s expulsion from the all-girls academy).
Because of her top grades, the principal gave her a chance to return if she broke off her relationship with Richard, but with only a year left before her life curse is due, Sigrid declined the offer - she rather be with her boyfriend and mother instead.
After receiving a phone call from Aina, Richard immediately left work at Kiel to be with Sigrid; he stayed at the flower shop for a month to protect both Sigrid and her mother from harassment and criticism - especially from their neighbor Mr. Vannderhassen.
Richard brought her over to Kiel for a weekend to meet with other members of the Kasper Family, including his father “The Black Skull”; after returning to Copenhagen, he finally proposed to Sigrid with the engagement ring he made during his last trip to his grandparents’ home in Johannesburg - a simple gold ring with a raw pink diamond in the center (pink was Sigrid’s favorite color).
Sigrid immediately replied “Yes!”, Aina watching the two kiss to celebrate the last chapter of their life together.

Hr. Dr. Kasper wearing traditional costume with a Grim Reaper twist.💀
-
Johannes Faustuz has lots of traditional clothing he wears as a Grim Reaper related to the cultures he’s closely associated with (German, Danish, Japanese, Swedish)
This outfit was most influenced by his Danish heritage, the red rose in his pocket grown from his grandmother Aina’s flower shop in Copenhagen.

No deadlines.💀
Just have fun drawing this Grim Reaper and his wife with lots of white butterflies flittering by.
I’ll feature entries in posts/stories that come in over time (if anyone does it).

The end of Sigrid’s diary.
Freyja can’t believe it’s the end, but it is.
-
Sigrid died two days after giving birth to Johannes Faustuz on Christmas Day; for “normal people”, she died from blood loss and infection, but it was Death himself who arrived and took her soul away - not before Richard was ordered to deal the final blow straight through her heart.
Since Sigrid’s passing, Richard’s health deteriorated over the next few years from feeling guilty and responsible of his beloved wife’s death; briefly he had moments of joy with his son, only to quickly spiral into deep depression being reminded of Sigrid.
Richard died in 1984 when Faustuz was two-going-on-three while they were staying over at South Africa; Faustuz only has one vivid memory of Richard from his childhood: listening to his father sing as he fell asleep in his arms.

It’s not Halloween anymore, yet I’m still stuck drawing my characters with body and face paint.
Not feeling well with a severe migraine and reeling from watching the election results either.
I guess I’m in a dark uninspired mood.💀

Room No. 13
-
This suite is where Richard stays as his second home away from Kiel, located in Copenhagen and owned by distant relatives of the Kasper Family (Olaf’s cousin Erna and her son Dagfinnr).
The hotel is also walking distance from Sigrid’s home/Aina’s flower shop, making it a convenient location for Richard and Sigrid to hide away from disapproving eyes - mainly her schoolmates and teachers (today people would be really concerned if a 16-year-old girl was dating a 23-year-old guy, but in 1980... probably just a shrug from most [large age gaps were more common in the past], but definitely a closer look from people who don’t understand their unique relationship; Sigrid was immediately expelled from school when her secret marriage was revealed, despite skipping a grade and having top scores; as a Kasper, she was able to finish her education at home).
