Room No. 13
-
This suite is where Richard stays as his second home away from Kiel, located in Copenhagen and owned by distant relatives of the Kasper Family (Olaf’s cousin Erna and her son Dagfinnr).
The hotel is also walking distance from Sigrid’s home/Aina’s flower shop, making it a convenient location for Richard and Sigrid to hide away from disapproving eyes - mainly her schoolmates and teachers (today people would be really concerned if a 16-year-old girl was dating a 23-year-old guy, but in 1980... probably just a shrug from most [large age gaps were more common in the past], but definitely a closer look from people who don’t understand their unique relationship; Sigrid was immediately expelled from school when her secret marriage was revealed, despite skipping a grade and having top scores; as a Kasper, she was able to finish her education at home).

#savetheusps!🇺🇸
The United States Postal Service is a beloved and essential government institution that needs help more than ever with the pandemic ongoing and oppression from the president and his party prior to Election Day.
•Buy USPS stamps and merchandise from them to support their workers and ability to serve the public.
•Write and call your representatives to express your support for the post office and fight the restrictive policies placed on the institution.
•To help with the load of mailing of ballots, vote and send them as early as possible to ensure your right to vote is accounted for.

Might as well make it another #dtiyschallenge because why not. Nobody wants to do any challenges I make anyway.😛

I hadn’t been posting much due to work trying to make up for lost time; I’m there from about 10:30am to 7:30pm 3-4 times a week, so I’m pretty much wiped out at the end of a day.
I work for TV/Simulcast (I’m a Graphics Operator; basically I make those things on the screen that displays names, prices, results, etc.), so I’m considered “Essential”.
You can say I’m keeping people entertained while they stay safe and quarantine at home, lol.
It’s not a job I can work remotely, so... yeah... I’m doing my best being safe with lots of sanitizer and wearing my mask (a face shield might not be a bad idea since I work in a small space). So I really mean it when I say “Stay home”, “Wear a mask”, and “Be nice to essential workers” - I want people to be safe, healthy, and we don’t need anymore “Karens” and “Chads” in the world making it harder for those providing services during this pandemic.

‼️**DISCLAIMER: NOT A REAL SCREENSHOT ON SLIDE 2!**‼️
I had to repost this pic because originally I had “mamakasper” as Freyja’s username, but it exists IRL; it’s changed to “@fryj_kspr”.
I’m not surprised “mamakasper” already exists because “Kasper” is a common name; I only thought of the username around 2016 when I started becoming more active in Instagram, imagining what my OCs would’ve named themselves. These accounts are linked with mine, and eventually I’ll have each of these OCs’ pics posted in their own accounts to help organize what has accumulated in my main account over the years.
(Cedrick’s is “@wunderkindck” and Hr. Dr. Kasper is “@not_hrstrom”)

Normally you don’t want to ghost a Kasper - they don’t like being ignored when they have important things to say.
-
Tricia Williams usually doesn’t want anything to do with Hr. Dr. Kasper, especially when he substitutes for her Biology professor (he’s close friends with Prof. Vinnie DeValeur, who also happens to be his boss’ son); but with the pandemic, she doesn’t have to go to school and he’s not responsible for the curriculum (but it doesn’t mean he doesn’t check on her progress every now and then).
In this case, Johannes Faustuz wants Tricia and Queenie to help him get Tyrone and Asia on good terms again by setting up a Mother’s Day date.

Oh my...🤭
It’s another one of these colorful steamy moments with these two.
Don’t swipe right to the end if you don’t want to see the full versions.❌
Just stop.🛑
You’ve been warned.⚠️
(but I’m sure I’ll still get a few 😤 despite the warnings)
-
The original color scheme is a tropical one, making it perfect for an intimate scene; the other version in blue, dark and secretive.
But Papa Ström won’t allow them to play much longer - he doesn’t want to see his daughter with her husband in any way.
(Erik never liked Johannes Faustuz from the start; he always thought of the doctor as a quack and not of proper upbringing to marry his daughter, but it’s really because he’s jealous that he’s not as strong as his son-in-law when it comes to fighting monsters)

Took almost three hours to color this in.💀
I really need sleep now, lol.
(I’ll post the speed-coloring video on IGTV as well)
-
Freyja and Johannes Faustuz wore cute sun hats in the last pic I made; Cedrick doesn’t want to match his parents, so he went all black despite the heat (black is just a badass color because it’s the rainbow absorbed into the abyss).
This time you can really see Cedrick’s heterochromia (odd-eyes; both Cedrick and his father Hr. Dr. Kasper have it).
-
The California Poppy:
These things bloom every year after the rain is over, and some years we get “Superblooms” when the hills are all orange and gold with them (there’d be traffic and accidents just because people would slow down to look at the hills while driving😑).
They’re obviously another favorite flower of mine because of their vibrant color ; pair the poppy with the cornflower, and it’s just an awesome combination of colors (blue and yellow is classic - just look at store logos like IKEA).

At work, Johannes Faustuz is called “The White Grim Reaper” by his coworkers behind his back; he got his nickname because of his unnatural accuracy for predicting how long a patient has before passing on.
Well, they’re not wrong - Hr. Dr. Kasper is technically one, just not in a traditional sense (all Kaspers are associated with Death, which is why their family symbol is the black skull).
-
Faustuz prefers saving his fellow humans, killing monsters gone rouge, and chasing after ghosts who refuse to pass on; but lately Death has been constantly following him and whispering in his ear nonstop to the point he snapped at work.
Normal people obviously can’t see Death himself, so coworkers seeing Faustuz randomly swatting and screaming at nothing at this time would instantly make it look like he’s delirious and gone insane - so he’s been sent home until further notice.
Death still wants his souls, so even if Faustuz is at home, he still goes out in occasion to pick up a clingy spirit or two.

Millions of us are glued to our phones for various reasons, whether it’s a viral video or a virus destroying life as we know it.
Regardless of whether they’re good or bad, smart phones are essential in today’s world; they are mobile computers, a way of communicating and connecting with everyone, a means of news and literature.
In the extreme end, it’s a means of comfort and addiction for many to escape the harsh reality of the world despite the cost of sleep, sanity, and curtesy.
—
Johannes Faustuz rarely has time to be on his phone.
But when he gets a chance to check it, it’s often a video message from his wife Freyja encouraging him to keep up with his work, or his son Cedrick sending him a sarcastic meme/GIF/video to cheer him up.

This is what happens when Johannes Faustuz is sleep deprived and has no coffee before work.
Or maybe he’s really just a mad doctor or crazy substitute professor.
(I look the same when I don’t get enough sleep and coffee for several days straight, lol)
-
I was kinda going for a Junji Ito look, but I would have to be way more detailed and cleaner with my line work as well as make Hr. Dr. Kasper more creepy and grotesque (Ito is known for his horror stories).
Faustuz already looks crazy as is, but compared to Ito’s work, he’s nothing, and I’m lazy.

I’m kinda feeling a little bit sad because right after making my last post thanking 399 people who were following me, it dropped down to 398 (it was actually at 400 when I was making it).😂
It’s actually normal for me to loose Followers at the end/start of the month, more so when I don’t post as much content. I try to mix things up with a #drawthisinyourstylechallenge every now and then, but I’m an OC artist so it’s understandable people won’t be interested in my characters and leave. It’s tough being recognized as an artist of any kind in Social Media, so the fact that I even have more than 💯 people liking my work just makes me happy and motivated to keep drawing.
