Who wants to be Number 400? It’s almost there... 🔜 Cedrick is such a dork. (like me😛) - When I first started here in Instagram back around 2017, I had less than 10 Followers. After millions (if not billions) of hours of making pics, I have all 399 of you to thank for putting up with my weirdness and keeping me motivated in working on this crazy project I’ve been doing since 2005-06. Your support is deeply appreciated!🥰 (It’s almost as old as my OC Cedrick...😱) Here’s to 450, 500, or daresay, to 1K? It’d probably take me another three years or more get there.😅 Once again to all of my Followers from all around the world: Thank You, Vielen Dank, Merci Beaucoup, Arigato, Mucho Gracias. I wouldn’t be this far without you.😘 —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #autodesksketchbook #comic #animestyle #originalcharacters #characterart #malecharacter #femalecharacter #boy #girl #teenagers #frauv8 #frauv8_ocs

The results of the poll are in - you voted hair up. For a final comparison, Slide 6 has the two versions colored in (last slide has #wip versions). - It’s not often Hr. Dr. Kasper dresses this nice, but filling in as a substitute teacher for Prof. DeValeur at the university allows him to show off his presence in a more fashionable way besides stained lab coats, black scrubs, and wrinkled collared shirts with rolled-up slacks (also add the fact he’s 195cm/6’4”-5” tall). Johannes Faustuz usually doesn’t like the attention, but occasionally he likes to see the shocked looks on people’s faces when they realize he’s not always such a sloppily-dressed doctor. — #lineart #digitalart #digitaldrawing #fashion #characterdesign #malecharacter #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #dog #doberman #plaid #plaidjacket

A quick colored #digitalsketch of Cedrick and Freud. As for what he’s holding, it could be a book, or based on it’s dimensions, it could be a VHS tape from his father’s archives (Papa Kasper is a Millennial, so he grew up in the 90s during the age of tapes and CDs). - Cedrick is mostly wearing retro 80-90s clothing that probably was once Johannes Faustuz’s and Hansel’s back in the day (most likely Hansel’s because Faustuz was forced to wear his older cousin’s clothes until he got too tall and wore his uncle’s old clothes). Freud doesn’t get as much attention compared to the other two pets (Klimt and Frl. Flicka), but it’s probably because he’s such a troublemaker digging up Freyja’s garden and steals sandwiches from plates, landing him in the covered outdoor area of the house called the “Doghouse” (it’s also where Faustuz sleeps when he’s not in good favors with his wife Freyja). He was originally Papa Olaf’s dog until he was first diagnosed with dementia; Aunt Yoko didn’t want to take care of a yapping puppy, Hansel and Hannah don’t have enough time or space to take him, leaving Faustuz the only relative able to care for Freud. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #drawing #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #characterart #character #malecharacter #boy #pet #dog

Hr. Dr. Kasper looks like a mad scientist here.😈⚗️🧪 I might of also gotten a bit carried away with the neon colors, but meh - it’s what it is, lol. As usual, I added animated effects using the app Pixaloop. I also included the line art for anyone who wants to color it themselves (tag @frauv8 #frauv8colorthisin so I can find your work easily). - Johannes Faustuz has jars of bizarre specimens he has inherited and collected over the years displayed in his work office (Who can spot the Meerjunfrau?🧜🏼‍♀️). He’s also an avid collector of miscellaneous books and periodicals in English, German, and Japanese (sometimes Danish, though he’s not fluent) since he likes reading in his spare time when he’s not diagnosing diseases, performing operations, or traveling abroad tracking down and capturing/killing rogue mythical creatures. Somewhere amongst his books is a copy of Freyja’s fashion magazine - can you find it? - Faustuz has his hair up this time, and is wearing a bright green collared shirt paired with a magenta tie. He’s a man who likes being punctual and efficient thus he often wears high-end watches to make sure he’s always on time (his watch here is based off a NOMOS). As for his expression, perhaps a creature in human disguise just walked in? Both Faustuz and his son Cedrick give off the same crazed look whenever they sense a potentially dangerous creature nearby and want to catch it for “further research” (which usually means killing it and performing a vivisection). It’s not called “Kasper’s Death Glare” for no reason. —— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #neoncolors #malecharacter #man #books #specimen #animestyle #mangastyle #green # purple #frauv8_ocs #frauv8

🎇 EDIT 8 JANUARY 2020: The original comic version of this post is in Archives. I’m trying different things, but I can tell that short one-page comics aren’t liked so much as the full-page animated pics for obvious reasons. Not making comics could be a bit of a challenge since these are my OCs, and they need occasional stories to make them more interesting aside from the commentary added below each post. ————————————————————— ORIGINAL COMMENTARY: Still might be too raunchy for some people, but if you think that’s raunchy, I’m very capable of drawing something even more revealing that it’ll hurt your eyes (not just nudity, but horrible color combinations as well). - Comment below if you want me to restore the original post of the short comic version on my Feed again; otherwise, it tells me to not make anymore short stories (it’s very apparent that people don’t like it when I try something different like comics or drawing exposed bodies🤦🏻‍♀️). I guess it’s literally back to the drawing board called an iPad Pro... And this time I’ll try to plan out something else that’ll takes up more time since I feel like my presence here in Instagram isn’t needed at the moment. - I was trying for a 1980s style for this pic of Freyja - big hair, string bikini, bigger eyes, over-saturated colors, etc. Even in the last slide I gave poor Johannes Faustuz the 1980s anime look (looks like a mullet, but it’s 80s style). —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #autodesksketchbook #pixaloop #animestyle #blue #1980sstyle #originalcharacters #characterart #femalecharacter #malecharacter #frauv8 #frauv8_ocs

Freyja is more than happy to show off her family’s brand new weapon to her husband Johannes Faustuz. But he can’t see without his glasses... or can he? 🤔 Freyja likes wearing Faustuz’s aviators as a fashion accessory so he often bumps around until he can find a spare pair of glasses, wears contacts, or uses “Odin’s Eye” to get by. But using his ability makes him prone to exhaustion, leading to irritability and being more grouchy than usual. - Kinda went for a retro 1980s anime style for this one, lol. I also included the line art for coloring; tag #colorthis_fv8 @frauv8 so I can see your work. — Cedrick is taking a selfie with Tricia in front of a Hello Kitty Cafe van. Tricia doesn’t want to admit that she’s just as happy to see an adorable pink delivery van decorated with baked goods only because she’s with someone she thinks is a dork. - Tricia and Cedrick hang out together usually during tutoring sessions since she just started university while he’s a Wunderkind; she’s not doing particularly well with taking tests so he offered to help her study better. Cedrick is 15 while Tricia is 18, so neither one thinks of the other as a romantic interest but rather as distant acquaintances despite Tyrone’s wishes for his niece to like Cedrick. ————— A couple years ago, Arcadia had a Hello Kitty Cafe. I was obsessed with their rose iced tea and mini cakes. But for whatever reason, it’s gone and hasn’t come back. I had seen the van once driving around, but now (the last time I’ve checked) the closest Hello Kitty Cafe is in Irvine. Never been there, but it’s a “grand” cafe, meaning it has more specialty items available. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #autodesksketchbook #lineart #animestyle #originalcharacters #characterart #femalecharacter #malecharacter #frauv8 #frauv8_ocs #pink #hellokittytruckcafe #selfie #teenagers #boy #girl

Looks like Freyja is relaxing in the bath staring off to the distance, or she has her eyes on something else... (2nd slide is an older pic from October 2019; adding a bit of color and adding it with this pic makes sense since it’s the same master bathroom) Originally I wanted bubbles floating around, but none of the effects available looked right. Steam was the better option, and ties the two pics together. - I’m seriously obsessed with 2020’s #pantoneclassicblue. Happy New Year! 🎆 I’ve been really busy with work, but now with one day off, I managed to draw my main OCs in a cutesy style. - Freyja’s hair color and style here matches more with her original design from 2005, but I overall prefer her with redder hair shown in her current design. Johannes Faustuz is by far my most consistent character based on looks, and Cedrick has become more younger, shorter, and “adorkable” considering the fact that he’s supposed to be about fifteen. - The second slide is a pic of them from early 2018 when I started being more active in Instagram; it’s a realistic style I’m not too fond of, and looking back at it now, the colors are nice but very flat. Also, no cute pets - I love including their pets when I can. - Comment below to let me know what style you like more.🤗 —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #drawing #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #characterdesign #character_design #characters #malecharacters #femalecharacter #family #mother #son #father #doctor #pets #cat #dogs

Last pic of 2019 for me: Cedrick’s first New Year’s Day. - Cedrick was born in October, so his parents were quite busy on New Year’s Day the year before; now three-month-old, Cedrick is very curious of the fireworks outside while Johannes Faustuz is barely able to stay up to welcome the new year. — I’m going to do my best to stay up for 2020 since it’s only once every thousand-ten years (until 9090) we get a double number year, and it’s the start of a new decade. But sleeping like Papa Kasper here is ideal since work starts early in the morning...😣 —— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacters #man #baby #father #son #fatherandson #newyear #fireworks #blue #mangastyle #animestyle #pixaloop #frauv8_ocs
