A different art style, more anime and cutesy. Also different hairstyles for Tricia and Cedrick. I guess it’s unofficially Spring now that we sprung an hour ahead to get some more sunshine yesterday, so here’s Hr. Dr. Kasper with a bouquet of flowers. But we’re expecting lots of rain this week, so...😑☔️🌧 - 3rd slide has the line art, while the last slide has the image I used for color reference. - Yellow is a color I often have trouble with; if it’s not balanced with darker colors or used as a hair/accessory color, yellow will blind you with pure brightness (basically, I like yellow in limited amounts and practical applications). This pic is really pushing my limit with yellow, but I’m okay with it because it has its analogous colors (red, orange, green) with a hint of its complimentary color blue (the line art is actually a navy blue, and the white flowers have a blue tint) to keep it balanced. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #lineart #pixaloop #animestyle #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #man #manbun #glasses #sunflowers #redtuxedo #blond #yellow #frauv8_ocs

It’s the whole family! As a cute chibi pile! — Someone had questioned whether if everyone would be blond, but NO! Not all Swedes, Germans, or Scandinavians in general are blond in real life, so this family should reflect that fact (my grandma is Swedish, and she had auburn hair like Freyja’s cousins Einar and Gunnar). It’s a silly, stupid stereotype that gets tacked on for lots of nationalities that are “majority White” (*glares at a certain popular anime that starts with an “H”*). — Freyja loves both halves of her family, but it’s hinted that she might love her Kasper part more due to the challenges of having an overbearing husband and moody Wunderkind that tests her wits versus the Ströms constantly spoiling her like a princess without question. - Being married to Freyja, poor Johannes Faustuz is often assumed to be a Ström himself by her coworkers and the media (getting the name “Jonah Fritz Ström” from the confusion); he obviously hates it not being called by his actual name and title, but for family’s sake, he’s willing to put up with it. - As for family traits, Ströms usually have blue or green eyes and some shade of blond or red hair. Cedrick looks a lot like his Ström relatives (especially his grandfather Erik and mother’s cousin Werner), but is immediately casted out as a Kasper with his odd eyes (Kaspers inherit heterochromia if they have blue eye genes). — #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacters #family #chibi #chibistyle #frauv8_ocs

Freyja’s four cousins, two sets of brothers: Ragnar with Werner and Einar with Gunnar. - Freyja’s father Erik Ström was the oldest of three sons, so he was set to inherit the family estate and company from his father. But things got heated when Erik had no children for years while his two younger brothers had sons. Things appeared settled once Erik’s wife Sonja was finally expecting a baby, until the baby was a girl. Only once in the far Viking past a female was placed in charge of the Ström clan, so Erik’s brothers weren’t too enthusiastic about their sons being in the service of a woman. All four cousins were at first annoyed with having to treat Freyja as a princess, only to realize as they got older that she’s been bearing all the family’s responsibilities as leader. Before Freyja met Johannes Faustuz, it was once assumed that she would marry one of her cousins, most likely Gunnar. As adults, all four have duties under Freyja to keep the family business running. - •Ragnar is second in line to inherit Ström Corporations, after Freyja should anything happen. He’s very much like his uncle, helping out with the physical labor in making occult weaponry. •Werner is Ragnar’s younger brother; Cedrick has been confused as him now that he’s just as tall, but Werner is more gruff and ragged. He designs weapons based on provided research from the Kaspers, then gives the blueprints to his brother and uncle for completion. •Einar is the oldest son of Erik’s youngest brother. He’s vain, hates fighting monsters, and has the taste for the finest of things - but at a reasonable price, thus he’s in charge of financing. •Gunnar is the youngest cousin, 3 months younger than Freyja, Einar’s brother. As a boy he wanted to marry her, but growing up he realized he didn’t want any part of the demands of being co-leader nor deal with his hot-tempered uncle. He’s still attached to Freyja, often concerned with her public image, making him in charge of marketing/communications. — #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacters #characterdesign #cousins #brothers #frauv8_ocs

Football / Soccer jerseys for this activewear/sportswear compilation because I feel like it. - Comment below and let me know which one is your favorite jersey. I think it’s obvious which ones I like most of the four (I own more than one white jersey, lol), but by far, my favorite has been 2018/2019 Germany’s jersey because it’s a beautiful shade of green (last slide). - The Swedish jersey bugs me so much because it’s a shade of what I call “Minion” yellow (yet I still bought one, but only because it was on sale and I can wear it when it gets super hot and humid🤦🏻‍♀️). If it’s not a hair color, yellow is a color I have difficulty with because it has such an intense presence. — #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #men #man #boy #teen #malecharacters #soccer #football #jerseys #fashion #frauv8_ocs

Father and son, Johannes Faustuz and Cedrick, in matching outfits based off of actual clothes; might draw a different version that shows their clothes in their entirety since I had to crop this so it fits in silly Instagram. Also seems like I can’t get over the color red even though Valentine’s Day has been over. At least it’s not an obnoxious bright yellow (*glares and gags looking at Minions and Sweden’s jersey* I’m so sorry, but that shade of yellow makes me cry because it’s such a difficult color to use without hurting my eyes). — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #animestyle #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacters #man #boy #teenageboy #father #son #blond #glasses #black #red #yellow #frauv8_ocs

Selfie time! Don’t forget Bertie! (BTW, anyone wanna guess what monster she is?) - While drawing this, I was told Freyja looks younger with her hair naturally straight. This would sound like gibberish to Tyrone and Bertie standing just outside of the stock room; normally Johannes Faustuz and Freyja would speak in English to each other, but to keep things more private, they switch to German (Freyja would speak in Swedish with Cedrick if she wants something kept secret from his father). - Freyja is an overachiever, always trying to get that extra stretch to get her work done quicker; she claims to have the strength of ten men, but that might be because she’s the only female in her immediate family (husband, son, father, and her four cousins - all men). Faustuz always worries about his wife constantly working and burning out (though the same can be said about himself because he’s also a workaholic); he also worries because Freyja had fallen once and got a concussion during a runway show. But with two Type A personalities running the family, it’s expected that they clash every once in a while. - Now... Part 3. Who’s Bertie? And “Mr. Ström”? What’s going on? - Hr. Dr. Kasper obviously has something against Bertie, especially with his odd eye turning yellow indicating that there’s a creature nearby. As for “Mr. Ström”, he gets called that by his wife’s coworkers, whether they assume that he’s really a member of the Ström family or jokingly call him that because he hides under his wife’s shadow. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #comic #originalcharacters #malecharacters #men #femalecharacter #lingerieshopping #frauv8_ocs

Character sheet of these two hubbies together in matching colors - red and grey. - Freyja thinks it’s cute that her husband has a “Work Spouse” who depends on him; Asia, on the other hand, is extremely jealous of her husband spending more time with Johannes Faustuz than he does with her. - As for the two guys, Tyrone loves being around Faustuz since he gets free food and advice about being a father and husband; Tyrone is also excited with common things they share - such as being born around a holiday (Tyrone was born on Thanksgiving Day; Faustuz was almost born on Christmas Eve), growing up poor and being raised by other relatives (Tyrone was raised by his grandmother; Faustuz was raised by his uncle and aunt), playing the same video games in their childhood (Super Mario, Zelda, Final Fantasy, Pokémon), and being really tall (both are over 180cm / 6 ft. tall). Faustuz at times gets exhausted and annoyed with his coworker’s constant attention, but he considers Tyrone as a good friend and is willing to help him with whatever he needs. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #characters #originalcharacters #malecharacters #men #red #grey #charactersheet #characterdesign #characterstudy #frauv8_ocs

Digital version of Cedrick in the rain. A short story: Asia Williams first meeting with “Dr. Jo-Hans Kasper”. I included closer looks at most of the panels without text, and an extra pic that I didn’t use for the short. And yes... it’s a mess... I’m not good making these short comics, but I make them to show some character relationships and if an idea for story pops up. - Asia is Tyrone’s lovely wife who often drops by the hospital to give her husband a homemade lunch (she doesn’t trust Tyrone eating lunch on his own due to his love for sweets). She works at her family’s hairdressing/nail salon/barber shop with her niece Tricia, but aspires to operate her own handmade jewelry shop. Asia is also a big fan of Freyja’s show on TV, dreaming of being a contestant just to get exposure for her art; she doesn’t knows that her husband’s coworker Johannes Faustuz is her idol’s husband (yet), and unfortunately she’s not fond of him for lots of reasons - mainly because she’s jealous of Tyrone spending more time with his “Work-Spouse” than with her. Perhaps an informal lunch date with the “other man” will cheer her up... — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #comic #animestyle #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacters #femalecharacter #frauv8_ocs
