Cedrick in so much green - just like Kermit and Billie. 💚🐸🩲 And he’s using a scrunchie to tie up his Lockdown hairstyle, which Queenie calls the “Mini-Hans” (when she really means “Mini Man-Bun”). Despite the quarantine, he got a coffee drink and phone in hand as usual. - There’s a few Pantone colors not featured in the slides (can only have 10), mainly the line art, coffee, skin, and skull. Any guesses on what Pantone color number the skull is colored in with? I remade it - yay! (and a bonus doodle on Slide 3) - Most of you voted for color, but I included a monochromatic version on Slide 4; I used Pantone colors, the colored version with Biscay Green 15-5718 in the background, and both versions using Bone White 12-0105 for their clothes and Moonless Night 19-4203 for the line art. - The original version of this was me smearing brushes around - which usually happens when I’m really tired and unmotivated, which then perpetuates a vicious cycle of disappointment and dissatisfaction (you can see the original version on Slide 5). There’s still something nice about the rough sketch (Slide 7) because of the looser lines compared to the finish versions. ——— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #autodesksketchbook #animestyle #originalcharacters #characterart #femalecharacter #malecharacter #couple #man #woman #blond #redhair #fashion #pantonecolors #biscaygreen #bonewhite #hat #frauv8_ocs

Meanwhile... (ENDE) - Freyja’s going to give her father Erik an earful seeing he didn’t appreciate the custom suit she had made for him; but she’s happy that Johannes Faustuz found someone else who would gladly wear it (just doesn’t seem like it with that scary look of hers). —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #autodesksketchbook #animestyle #originalcharacters #characterart #femalecharacter #malecharacter #couple #man #woman #pink #green #frauv8_ocs

Looks like these two are on good terms again. ☺️ (and hopefully less friction between her and “the other man”) Asia finally got what she wanted for Mother’s Day - a lot of time together with her husband Tyrone, away from his coworker and the kids. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #digitalsketch #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #lineart #autodesksketchbook #animestyle #originalcharacters #characterart #femalecharacter #malecharacter #couple #cuddle #man #woman #green #frauv8_ocs

Asia is all dressed up with the tea party table Tricia and Queenie set up for their date (all items were in the boxes they ordered). - At least one more pic of the two cuddling to wrap it up.😊 —— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #femalecharacter #woman #animestyle #greendress #green #frauv8_ocs

Step Two: Making Tyrone the perfect husband. - And~ Johannes Faustuz is starting to see what’s wrong. Asia acts mean to him because she can’t accept that Tyrone isn’t as nice as he used to be (she’s actually quite smitten by how polite Faustuz is towards her, but doesn’t want to admit it), while his coworker has some masculinity issues that needs a lot of TLC (Tyrone doesn’t like admitting that Asia does a better job taking care of their daughter Queenie, nor does he likes shopping with her for clothes and crafting supplies). Until Tyrone and Asia put their stubbornness aside, Hr. Dr. Kasper can’t get to Step Three: Make the Williamses a happy couple again. — #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacters #men #femalecharacter #woman #animestyle #frauv8_ocs

Step One: What’s up with the Williamses? - Johannes Faustuz wants to find out why Tyrone keeps avoiding going home, and why Asia is so mean (especially towards him). So he made a relationship questionnaire for Tyrone to fill out; except Faustuz forgot to write it in English - oops. Once he gets his results, the Herr Doktor will proceed to Step Two: Make Tyrone the perfect husband. ——— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacters #men #doctors #animestyle #frauv8_ocs

Time for a man-to-man talk in the office. - Usually it’s Hr. Dr. Kasper pressed against the wall, but the tables are turned with Tyrone dealing with a frustrated work buddy. Johannes Faustuz is at his wits end dealing with Asia, so he needs Tyrone to be the husband she deserves to calm things down - and he’s going to help him out by asking personal questions. ——— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacters #men #doctors #animestyle #frauv8_ocs

Asia is beyond furious with Johannes Faustuz now that she knows who his wife is. He’s going to have a nice long chat with Tyrone about spending more time with Asia whenever he gets a chance - and other personal things to help him with his wife. - Tyrone’s wife Asia has always been a very jealous woman. Her first encounter with Hr. Dr. Kasper was after confronting Tyrone with a strand of platinum blond hair she found in their laundry (the hair was the doctor’s, not a woman’s); from that point on, Asia has never liked him for multitudes of reasons (the way he talks, his lineage, spending more time with Tyrone than she gets with him, eating meat in front of her when she’s vegan, spoiling Queenie with treats every time he visits, etc.). Faustuz is really trying to help Tyrone stay focused on his wife while keeping Asia on her good side by chatting about her artistic talents making jewelry and nail art; he always wanted the Williamses visit his house for a double date, but with the pandemic going on at this time, it’s going to have to wait a bit longer. Perhaps a personal video chat with Freyja will do the trick? ——— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #lineart #animestyle #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #characterdesign #malecharacter #man #doctor #green #frauv8_ocs

The Kaspers’ house based in Southern California, somewhere around Los Angeles. It does have a second level that’s basically a loft and attic used for storage, nothing else important. - If you zoom in the Garage, you can see what kind of vehicle each parent drives (Papa Ström has a motorcycle, Freyja has a Volvo SUV, Hr. Dr. Kasper has an old VW Beatle); Cedrick is only 14/15, so obviously he can’t drive yet (there’s three bikes available; the shopping bike is pink with a basket and crate installed, lol). — Slide 2: Cedrick studying at the Nook’s table. - Slide 3: Cedrick playing games in the Living Room when he should be in the Game Room (the Living Room has a large projection screen from the ceiling). - Slide 4: Cedrick’s Bedroom. - Slide 5: Freyja enjoying a bath in the Master Bathroom. - Slide 6: The Laundry Room. - Slide 7: The Kitchen. - Slide 8: The Master Bedroom. - Slide 9: Hr. There’s a new creature to add to the Kaspers’ unusual menagerie. It’s not a Meerjungfrau (read the highlight titled “MEERJUNGFRAU” if you want to know more), but an Amabie swimming in the fishbowl. - She was recently found by Klimt almost dried out under a tree where a red-tailed hawk family is nestled, most likely had escaped from being chick food. Hr. Dr. Kasper had to pry the poor thing out of his cat’s mouth before plopping her into a fishbowl to recover; he named her “Stern” for her star-like shape and having five limbs (two arms, three tails). - Amabie is a Japanese Yōkai that appears when there’s a danger to humans, especially pandemics; they’re good luck, and sharing drawings of them are said to heal ailments. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #animestyle #originalcharacter #malecharacter #man #yokai #amabie #cat #frauv8_ocs

Watched “ONWARD”; it’s a cute film about brotherly love.👨‍❤️‍💋‍👨 I have a younger brother, so a few things did hit me (especially with having a sibling around all the time), but the film is brother-brother/father-sons themed, so a lot wasn’t as relatable (obviously a lot of male bonding). Still a good movie. - Anyway, it’s not National Siblings Day yet, but I doodled this pic after watching “ONWARD”. Biologically Johannes Faustuz is an only child, but his parents died when he was a baby; his uncle Heinrich and aunt Yoko adopted him and raised him alongside his older cousins Hansel and Hannah. At first his cousins (and aunt) weren’t happy to have another kid around; Faustuz was teased mercilessly for not looking like his cousins (who are half Japanese, which is why he speaks Japanese fluently), as well as being so much younger than them (Hansel is 8 years older; Hannah is 6 years older). But after Heinrich’s death, the three siblings grew closer sharing memories of the man who raised them; if nostalgia hits hard, Hansel and especially Hannah would randomly hug Faustuz since he looks very much like their father. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #animestyle #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacters #femalecharacter #family #cousins #siblings #frauv8 #frauv8_ocs

A green color scheme this time. And these two being cute and cuddly as usual. - I included both versions, glasses and without glasses 🤓 (not hair up/hair down this time; he normally has his hair down when he’s not working anyway). Feel free to color in the line art. Cedrick found something in his father’s specimen collection that he just can’t wait to dissect. - One thing about Kaspers is that they can’t contain their eagerness to obtain knowledge by all means, making them quite mad and insane doing so. —— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #doctor #madscientist #maddoctor #jarredspecimen #animestyle #frauv8_ocs #green

With Valentine’s Day around the corner, Tyrone Williams needs a wingman to assist him in picking out the perfect gift for his wife Asia. If Papa Kasper is with the dogs this morning, then Cedrick has the cat - and Klimt wants to be fed. Klimt loves meowing as loud as he can until his master of choice wakes up and pours him a bowl of kibble. - Like all teenagers, Cedrick hates waking up early. He left his headphones on hoping he wouldn’t be able to hear his cat, but with a dead battery, it’s no use. He better get out of bed and feed the cat before Mama barges in and drags him out to do so. - Cedrick also likes collecting anatomical figures and skulls, aside from building LEGO models, playing video games, and vivisecting random creatures given to him by his cat - which sounds about normal for a 14/15-year-old kid?🤷🏼 — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #drawing #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #boy #pet #cat #sleeping #wakingup #morning #lightstudy #pixaloop

The Kaspers’ pets (not including the office aquarium fish, several test tubes of mutant fruit flies, a pink fairy, a pair of Wolpertingers, Hyōsube, and whatever creature that decides to stay with them indefinitely). Normally it’s Cedrick’s job to take care of the animals, but occasionally Papa Kasper steps up to wrangle up the pets - especially when it’s time to visit the Vet since Cedrick can’t drive yet, and Freyja is often away from home. - Each pet has a distinctive personality: •Freud the Dachshund is very snappy, often running off to dig up holes in the backyard; occasionally he wants cuddles and kisses, especially when he’s being punished for his behavior, and sticks around whenever someone is feeling sick or depressed. •Klimt the Norwegian Forest Cat isn’t a very smart cat - he’s was born the runt of the litter, always a bit slow and clumsy; he likes chirping like a bird and climbing up trees to the point either Cedrick or Faustuz has to climb up after him since he doesn’t know how to climb back down; Klimt also likes waking up his masters so he gets fed, swishing his fluffy tail in their faces while they eat breakfast before work. •Frl. Flicka the Doberman/Hellhound is the most energetic of the three, often wanting to play fetch with just about anything; she’s sensitive to loud popping sounds, making her aggressive and reenact her time as a war dog; after a long time of coaxing her with treats and gentle petting, she goes back into her lapdog mode and insists on sleeping with Mama and Papa for the night. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #drawing #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #man #pets #cat #dogs

The votes are in!🗳 Cedrick Kasper in Color Scheme 1 was voted top choice, but Queenie Williams and Kimiko Abe had some love too (OCs in 2nd slide). I have pinks and purples planned out for each of them respectively; Queenie will have a tea party theme while Kimiko will have a kawaii Harajuku decora theme. And while planning out this drawing, another idea for Papa Kasper came up since this has a playful pose and vibe. - So wtf is this adorkable kid sticking his tongue out for? What a silly boy. 🤪 The last slide has a photo of a neon green jacket that inspired me. I gave Cedrick’s jacket skulls instead of roses because Kaspers don’t do pretty - they do weird and creepy. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #drawing #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #boy #teenboy #teenager #neoncolors #yellow #green #blue #hoodie #jacket #bowlcut #glasses #japanese #german

Hr. Dr. Kasper looks like a mad scientist here.😈⚗️🧪 I might of also gotten a bit carried away with the neon colors, but meh - it’s what it is, lol. As usual, I added animated effects using the app Pixaloop. I also included the line art for anyone who wants to color it themselves (tag @frauv8 #frauv8colorthisin so I can find your work easily). - Johannes Faustuz has jars of bizarre specimens he has inherited and collected over the years displayed in his work office (Who can spot the Meerjunfrau?🧜🏼‍♀️). He’s also an avid collector of miscellaneous books and periodicals in English, German, and Japanese (sometimes Danish, though he’s not fluent) since he likes reading in his spare time when he’s not diagnosing diseases, performing operations, or traveling abroad tracking down and capturing/killing rogue mythical creatures. Somewhere amongst his books is a copy of Freyja’s fashion magazine - can you find it? - Faustuz has his hair up this time, and is wearing a bright green collared shirt paired with a magenta tie. He’s a man who likes being punctual and efficient thus he often wears high-end watches to make sure he’s always on time (his watch here is based off a NOMOS). As for his expression, perhaps a creature in human disguise just walked in? Both Faustuz and his son Cedrick give off the same crazed look whenever they sense a potentially dangerous creature nearby and want to catch it for “further research” (which usually means killing it and performing a vivisection). It’s not called “Kasper’s Death Glare” for no reason. —— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #neoncolors #malecharacter #man #books #specimen #animestyle #mangastyle #green # purple #frauv8_ocs #frauv8
