Hr. Dr. Kasper’s getting ready to bake and send off his annual supply of Christmas cookies back to his grandmother Aina and aunt Yoko, and baking some extra for the hospital to celebrate the holidays and his birthday at work.
But any mention of food draws the attention of his coworker Tyrone who’ll insist on being a food taster.

Something I just learned and just happened to be coincidental while making this - St. Lucia’s Day is today.🕯
I was doing research on St. Lucia’s Day mainly because it would be something Freyja’s family would observe (she’s Swedish), but also how similar St. Lucia looks in comparison with Christkind (which was original focus of these notes).
Of the two, St. Lucia wins with the more interesting backstory - though Christkind has quite a story from being the literal Jesus into the blonde angelic lady who gives gifts and often tops Christmas trees.
Swipe one page over and we get to see Papa Kasper dressed up as Christkind for charity (if he had it his way, he’d wear all black instead of white, lol).

Some more clothes for Sigrid and Cedrick…

And the poll says Cedrick is the other paper doll.
He’s basically got a quarantine look and a hand-me-down look (Cedrick likes to look through closets and the attic to find old clothes stored away, ranging from the 1970s to the mid 2000s).
Now there’s two of them, a girl (1980s) and a boy (modern day), what other looks should I draw for them?

Of all my OCs, it’s Sigrid’s simple schoolgirl clothing and sweet smile that gets a lot of likes - therefore she’s perfect for making into a paper doll.
As for making more paper doll versions, eh…
We’ll see…
Probably make a poll and find out who else gets made into a paper doll, or add more looks for Sigrid (the 1980s was a fun time for fashion).

Richard Kasper (aka Death).💀
-
Kept going back and forth with the background colors and colored/uncolored, but there’s just something about a bright sky blue background with yellow as a complement (also yellow has always been a color that gives me weird vibes when there’s a lot of it).
Also used Motionleap (formerly known as Pixaloop) to add in some effects and vibrancy.

My comfort zone with black and white and blank stares.

Another Kasper Family pic, this time with their mythical doggie Frl. Flicka (she’s a Hellhound/Doberman).
Where’s Papa Ström?
Erik’s finally back home in Sweden with Freyja’s four cousins.
Death would like to visit again, but he’s got over 60 million souls to count each day for his boss Fate (he’s also mostly a skeleton, unless he’s summoned).

Oh, he can hear his father 100% - he’s just choosing not to like any naughty rebellious child does.
(we’ve all done it at one point in our lives… 😅)
And~ we all know how it turns out in the end when you don’t listen to your papa or mama…
(in Cedrick’s case, Hr. Dr. Kasper is going to make him clean up after their pet Hellhound/Doberman Frl. Flicka for a week - and her poop is almost always on fire so it’s going to be really stinky and difficult to get rid of).
