Queenie got a new bunny from Uncle Hans! Asia is feeling relieved now that her daughter has a new toy to play with instead of using her jewelry crafting supplies; Tricia is actually feeling a bit jealous that she didn’t get anything besides chocolate eggs and marshmallow bunnies (she wanted the giant bunny). ——— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacters #girl #bunnyears #bunny #easter #frauv8_ocs

Watched “ONWARD”; it’s a cute film about brotherly love.👨‍❤️‍💋‍👨 I have a younger brother, so a few things did hit me (especially with having a sibling around all the time), but the film is brother-brother/father-sons themed, so a lot wasn’t as relatable (obviously a lot of male bonding). Still a good movie. - Anyway, it’s not National Siblings Day yet, but I doodled this pic after watching “ONWARD”. Biologically Johannes Faustuz is an only child, but his parents died when he was a baby; his uncle Heinrich and aunt Yoko adopted him and raised him alongside his older cousins Hansel and Hannah. At first his cousins (and aunt) weren’t happy to have another kid around; Faustuz was teased mercilessly for not looking like his cousins (who are half Japanese, which is why he speaks Japanese fluently), as well as being so much younger than them (Hansel is 8 years older; Hannah is 6 years older). But after Heinrich’s death, the three siblings grew closer sharing memories of the man who raised them; if nostalgia hits hard, Hansel and especially Hannah would randomly hug Faustuz since he looks very much like their father. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #animestyle #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacters #femalecharacter #family #cousins #siblings #frauv8 #frauv8_ocs

Kimiko Abe and Vincent-Claude DeValeur (old drawing from two years ago on 2nd slide). And 3 March is Kimiko’s birthday, so her admirer is extra cuddly this time. - Vinnie is a bit of a womanizer chasing after anything female, but by far, his biggest crush has been Kimiko; he adores her naive nature and finds her so cute that he can’t resist snatching her up in his arms. Poor Kimiko doesn’t know how to react to his advances, so she tries to run away and hide; it’s not really known whether she really does like him because she’s so skittish and shy. So are they or are they not a couple? Eh... Even I’m not sure, lol. But I’ve been told they look cute together, so perhaps they will be a couple. ——— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #digitalsketch #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #autodesksketchbook #animestyle #originalcharacters #characterart #femalecharacter #malecharacter #couple #blue #frauv8_ocs

The two mamas together - even though they haven’t officially met yet. - Freyja is always adventurous and frilly with what she wears, while Asia is more about comfort and practical. This would sound like gibberish to Tyrone and Bertie standing just outside of the stock room; normally Johannes Faustuz and Freyja would speak in English to each other, but to keep things more private, they switch to German (Freyja would speak in Swedish with Cedrick if she wants something kept secret from his father). - Freyja is an overachiever, always trying to get that extra stretch to get her work done quicker; she claims to have the strength of ten men, but that might be because she’s the only female in her immediate family (husband, son, father, and her four cousins - all men). Faustuz always worries about his wife constantly working and burning out (though the same can be said about himself because he’s also a workaholic); he also worries because Freyja had fallen once and got a concussion during a runway show. But with two Type A personalities running the family, it’s expected that they clash every once in a while. - Now... February already?! Where have I been all this time?! (Busy with work and life is all, lol) - Nothing special this time, just simple pics of the Kasper Siblings - a Polaroid from the 90s and a current digital photo printed out from the Pharmacy. - Johannes Faustuz used to be teased all the time about being adopted by Hansel and Hannah (technically he was by his uncle Heinrich), but after Onkel Heinrich’s death, his older cousins became more attached to him since he looks and acts most like their father; both Hansel and Hannah will randomly hug their younger cousin to rid them of the feeling of their nostalgia for their father. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #animestyle #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacters #femalecharacter #family #cousins #siblings #pink #blue #green #yellow #frauv8 #frauv8_ocs

It’s Awards Season!🏆 I wasn’t able to watch the Grammys on TV after work, but I kept track via Twitter and other online news (yesterday’s big news made me sick to the stomach: RIP🟣🟡2️⃣4️⃣8️⃣; there goes another piece of my childhood😔). I absolutely enjoy seeing pics of the dresses (and occasional suits) the celebs wear in these events because they can be stunningly beautiful or completely so outrageous that you can’t look away. - So for fun, I doodled this. Freyja enjoys the spotlight and showing off whenever she has a chance (she is a TV Host/Supermodel/Magazine Editor). Her husband... despite being really tall and fair, Johannes Faustuz prefers being in the shadows and part of the background (literally in this case); their son Cedrick is usually out of sight when it comes to big events (he hates wearing formal wear). —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #digitalsketch #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #autodesksketchbook #animestyle #originalcharacters #characterart #femalecharacter #malecharacter #couple #formalwear #suit #dress #white #black #frauv8_ocs

I opted for the sketchy-look for Queenie Williams like the last pic I made.✏️ - She’s having a tea party with her teddy bear Mr. Bellybutton Fluff and Cedrick’s handmade Baby Yoda plushie using items found in the Kaspers’ office. Queenie often sneaks in there while her father Tyrone Williams is too busy to keep track of her; Cedrick doesn’t like it when she’s there snacking on his mini sandwiches and juice boxes, but Johannes Faustuz prefers she stays put and not wander around the hospital causing more trouble - like dumping the jarred Meerjungfrau into his aquarium. Like her father, Queenie enjoys being around the Kaspers not only for snacks but also for companionship, seeing them as an uncle and big brother. —— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #digitalsketch #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #colorstudy #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #femalecharacter #girl #child #plushies #teaparty #pink #mangastyle #animestyle #frauv8_ocs #frauv8

Tricia Williams and her boba tea. I’m a bit early to be posting this, but eh... I can always draw something else for Valentine’s Day.😛 It’s kinda a redraw from a pic from last year too - Johannes Faustuz is even wearing the same heart-shirt!❤️ (check 2nd slide) - Childhood sweethearts since they were 9-10, Freyja and Faustuz have always had people scratching their heads in confusion on why they’re so attached to each other: “What makes this disheveled Geek the Prince Charming to this Beauty’s eyes?” Both had tragic family deaths (her mother died; his parents and uncle died), both have a deep love of books (English literature is her favorite while his are Science and Historical Fiction), and both grew up in households familiar with mythical creatures and the occult despite being opposite sides of social class (she’s super rich while he grew up low middle-class). Add in the fact she’s a Cancer and he’s a Capricorn, and these two are very a stable couple - except for the occasional clash of stubborn alpha personalities (she’s more social and emotional while he’s very reserved and often blunt). They also worked hard to start their relationship by learning how to be able to communicate with each other (Freyja didn’t know German, nor Faustuz any Swedish or English when they first met). After years of learning and sharing their interests, it’s no wonder why these two bonded even though people look at them in disbelief; Freyja loves her husband because he values her as his best friend, not just some beautiful object. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #lineart #animestyle #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #man #femalecharacter #woman #heartshirt #hearts #valentines #valentines_day #valentinesday #valentinesday2020 #japanese #german #couple #inlove #pink #frauv8_ocs #frauv8

I also included the line art for coloring; tag #colorthis_fv8 @frauv8 so I can see your work. — Cedrick is taking a selfie with Tricia in front of a Hello Kitty Cafe van. Tricia doesn’t want to admit that she’s just as happy to see an adorable pink delivery van decorated with baked goods only because she’s with someone she thinks is a dork. - Tricia and Cedrick hang out together usually during tutoring sessions since she just started university while he’s a Wunderkind; she’s not doing particularly well with taking tests so he offered to help her study better. Cedrick is 15 while Tricia is 18, so neither one thinks of the other as a romantic interest but rather as distant acquaintances despite Tyrone’s wishes for his niece to like Cedrick. ————— A couple years ago, Arcadia had a Hello Kitty Cafe. I was obsessed with their rose iced tea and mini cakes. But for whatever reason, it’s gone and hasn’t come back. I had seen the van once driving around, but now (the last time I’ve checked) the closest Hello Kitty Cafe is in Irvine. Never been there, but it’s a “grand” cafe, meaning it has more specialty items available. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #autodesksketchbook #lineart #animestyle #originalcharacters #characterart #femalecharacter #malecharacter #frauv8 #frauv8_ocs #pink #hellokittytruckcafe #selfie #teenagers #boy #girl

A quick pic of Johannes Faustuz and Freyja at age 10-11. It’s quite a bit early for Valentine’s Day, but it’s never off-season to show off some love. — Freyja and Faustuz have known each other for about thirty years, but like any couple, they have lots of rough times - whether it’s being separated because of work (he’s an oncologist, she’s involved with media), language barriers (Faustuz barely spoke English while Freyja only knew Swedish and English when they first met; Faustuz knew some Danish from his great-grandmother, which is similar to Swedish, but it was still difficult to understand each other for a long time without a German/English translation book; as adults they speak English but will switch to German to keep some conversations private), social class (she’s rich, he’s low-middle class), and their families not liking each other (the Ströms are very proud of their royal Viking heritage and making weapons; the Kaspers are shunned for their involvement with things like the Black Plague, witch-hunting, bodysnatching, and WW2). But with constant attention and compromises, Freyja and Faustuz have been happily married for over twenty years (they won’t reveal when exactly they got married; all that’s known is that they were young when they were married). —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #pixaloop #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #lineart #animestyle #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #boy #femalecharacter #girl #children #couple #inlove #frauv8_ocs

Finished this pic while flying over to Japan in a 12 hour flight (not fun being packed like sardines in seats barely big enough to fit someone as small as me). - Klimt always wake up Papa Kasper just to be fed. Here’s my Necromancer Mage. I’m done with #inktober2019. À bientôt! Auf Wiedersehen! Bye~👋🏻 (No... No... Not really, lol.) - #inktober is a big challenge, and this year I’m not feeling like doing 31 of these kind of pics. Obviously I’m skilled enough and capable of finishing a piece in a day, but to make a really good piece, it takes the whole day - if not more than a day (I spent maybe 12 hours total on this guy). This was also done on a large 10.5”x15” piece of paper (approximately 27x38cm), so I don’t think having another 30 of these lying around in my apartment is very practical (that’s why I’ve enjoy doing stuff digitally or in sketchbooks). I might make another traditional piece, but not anytime soon. ☠️ Media Used: •Sakura Pigma Micron •Staedtler Mars Graphic 3000 Duo •Winston & Newton Brushmarker •Spectrum noir Illustrator Dual-Tip Markers — #inktober #ink #blackink #pen #marker #markerart #alcoholmarker #traditionalart #traditionalmedia #drawing #inkdrawing #fantasyart #necromancer #mage #skull #magehat

“Midnight Snack” is finished! 🦑 It’s a late night glimpse into the Kaspers’ kitchen this time. There’s all kinds of stuff in there - let me know what’s your favorite item in their kitchen. - Poor Cedrick just wanted a Ruben sandwich and a juice box, but unbeknownst to him, his mother Freyja had stashed a fresh Kraken in the fridge for tomorrow night’s dinner. Included in this pic are the Hyōsube they adopted from their last trip to Kiel, their orange Norwegian Forest Cat Klimt, and the mischievous Pink Fairy - all featured in previous pics I’ve drawn over the past couple of months (if not years). - I thought about having the tentacles animated, but after spending so much time drawing and coloring this, I opted to just add text and lines for actions like a comic with a few touches from #pixaloop in the second slide. - Which room will be next? Which lighting looks the best? 1, 2, 3, or 4? (4 is the same as the one without characters sans Soft Light layer effects) - It’s Freyja and Johannes Faustuz’s bedroom. Either they’re getting dressed up for the day or undressed for the night - you decide.😏 - Originally I planned on using a reddish-brown for the line art, but the blue just adds the right amount of pop for the details. And of course I had fun with the Soft Light layerings - thus I have a hard time choosing which one to put first on the post.
