The last time when the Kasper Family was all together, before Johannes Faustuz and Cedrick left Freyja at Stockholm, Sweden with her father Erik and four cousins.
Or in another timeline, this is before they’re all quarantined together at the Kaspers’ home in California; in that case, Papa Ström has to be the most isolated from the other family members since he’s the most risk of being severely sick.
Faustuz would still be gone working at the hospital while Freyja and Cedrick stay home to care for the garden and menagerie (as well as Grandpa).
-
It’s times like this when family is most precious, even though they can be annoying as hell.
When this bug is done and over with, we’re all going to look back at this as a milestone in our lives with appreciation.

If you’re a doctor, nurse, or lab technician doing tests right now, kudos to you; you’re on the frontlines taking care of the sick for unknown hours.
Virtual hugs and high fives to you.
-
I was watching a doctor’s blog online, and he was saying that all medical students had been sent home and certain departments that are of less concern were being converted into rooms for hospital beds; many doctors from the converted areas were reassigned in teams for triage and general treatment as preparation for the “Calm Before the Storm”.
That’s a bit frightening but also reassuring to hear that hospitals are preparing for the worst.
—
Poor Papa Kasper has been one of those reassigned for triaging and general treatment since his Oncology department has been downgraded and his surgeries postponed during the outbreak; Cedrick is also a doctor like his father, but being only 14-15, he’s treated as as medical student and sent home for protection.
Since doctors are not machines, Johannes Faustuz often power naps in between shifts and appointments if he can’t get hold of coffee.
When he returns to his office/dorm, he plops right down on his couch next to his potted plant for much needed rest.

It’s Saint Patrick’s Day today, but there’s no bar open due to corona (not the beer; bad joke).
But for lots of people in the medical field, this is not a time to party with lots of patients needing extra care and attention.
Let’s do our best to “Flatten the Curve” to help out our hospitals, nurses, and doctors so they don’t get even more overwhelmed - and so one day they can get that nice cold pint of beer for their hard work. 🍺
-
Hr. Dr. Kasper is luckily wearing his green scrubs so he won’t be pinched (not that anyone would these days with Social Distancing), and would like some beer as he reads his newspapers on his down time.
But with non-emergency surgeries put on hold, this oncologist doesn’t have much to do besides helping out everyone else at the hospital with whatever they need.
Also, with his wife Freyja stuck in Sweden due to the European travel ban, there’s not much he can do at home besides wrangling a teenage son, two dogs, a cat, a pair of Wolpertingers, a Hyōsube Yōkai, a pink fairy, a man-eating tree sapling, and a wondering eight-legged horse.

I guess it’s unofficially Spring now that we sprung an hour ahead to get some more sunshine yesterday, so here’s Hr. Dr. Kasper with a bouquet of flowers.
But we’re expecting lots of rain this week, so...😑☔️🌧
-
3rd slide has the line art, while the last slide has the image I used for color reference.
-
Yellow is a color I often have trouble with; if it’s not balanced with darker colors or used as a hair/accessory color, yellow will blind you with pure brightness (basically, I like yellow in limited amounts and practical applications).
This pic is really pushing my limit with yellow, but I’m okay with it because it has its analogous colors (red, orange, green) with a hint of its complimentary color blue (the line art is actually a navy blue, and the white flowers have a blue tint) to keep it balanced.

Kimiko Abe and Vincent-Claude DeValeur (old drawing from two years ago on 2nd slide).
And 3 March is Kimiko’s birthday, so her admirer is extra cuddly this time.
-
Vinnie is a bit of a womanizer chasing after anything female, but by far, his biggest crush has been Kimiko; he adores her naive nature and finds her so cute that he can’t resist snatching her up in his arms. Poor Kimiko doesn’t know how to react to his advances, so she tries to run away and hide; it’s not really known whether she really does like him because she’s so skittish and shy.
So are they or are they not a couple? Eh... Even I’m not sure, lol. But I’ve been told they look cute together, so perhaps they will be a couple.

Drew this while listening to BTS’ new album (which is awesome cakes - “Dionysus” is definitely a favorite).
-
It’s a rarity to see Cedrick alone with his mother Freyja.
At first glance, people assume he’s either her boyfriend or younger brother; Cedrick also gets embarrassed whenever Freyja tries to act “cool” around him (she’s actually not that old, not 40 yet).
Freyja also has the bad habit of babying and spoiling her son to the point he’s annoyed and wants to be with his father instead (obviously this makes her sad and want to spoil her son even more just to get his affection; she inherited this habit from her father Erik).
Cedrick and Freyja speak to each other in Swedish, which adds to the cuteness between mother and son (Johannes Faustuz, on the other hand, finds it frustrating whenever his wife and son do so because he can’t understand Swedish).
This is the one thing Cedrick does appreciate being able to do with his mother since it’s challenging for him to speak Swedish instead of his usual English or German.

Football / Soccer jerseys for this activewear/sportswear compilation because I feel like it.
-
Comment below and let me know which one is your favorite jersey.
I think it’s obvious which ones I like most of the four (I own more than one white jersey, lol), but by far, my favorite has been 2018/2019 Germany’s jersey because it’s a beautiful shade of green (last slide).
-
The Swedish jersey bugs me so much because it’s a shade of what I call “Minion” yellow (yet I still bought one, but only because it was on sale and I can wear it when it gets super hot and humid🤦🏻♀️).
If it’s not a hair color, yellow is a color I have difficulty with because it has such an intense presence.

Colored version.
I also included the “original” idea boxed up to fit Instagram’s square format with the line art of both pics.
-
I might be itching to another compilation of OCs wearing activewear fashion (last slide has one made two years ago).
Comment below if you want me to draw a new version.

Father and son, Johannes Faustuz and Cedrick, in matching outfits based off of actual clothes; might draw a different version that shows their clothes in their entirety since I had to crop this so it fits in silly Instagram.
Also seems like I can’t get over the color red even though Valentine’s Day has been over.
At least it’s not an obnoxious bright yellow (*glares and gags looking at Minions and Sweden’s jersey* I’m so sorry, but that shade of yellow makes me cry because it’s such a difficult color to use without hurting my eyes).

But at least he saw his wife.

Ugh...
Trying to finish this story by Valentine’s Day, but I’m struggling with a migraine right now...
At least two more pages to go...

Nothing in the boxes were fragile - it’s all lingerie.
The only thing fragile were eyes seeing something uncomfortable and incomprehensible.

Tyrone suspects that his buddy here isn’t such a good guy when really Johannes Faustuz is just very protective of his wife’s identity.
-
It’s also not often Freyja is working at her boutique; she’s usually busy with other things, like filming new episodes, organizing a magazine spread, discussing stocks with her cousins, or if she’s really feeling ambitious, helping her father make new weapons for killing monsters.

Part 3.
Who’s Bertie?
And “Mr. Ström”?
What’s going on?
-
Hr. Dr. Kasper obviously has something against Bertie, especially with his odd eye turning yellow indicating that there’s a creature nearby.
As for “Mr. Ström”, he gets called that by his wife’s coworkers, whether they assume that he’s really a member of the Ström family or jokingly call him that because he hides under his wife’s shadow.

Character sheet of these two hubbies together in matching colors - red and grey.
-
Freyja thinks it’s cute that her husband has a “Work Spouse” who depends on him; Asia, on the other hand, is extremely jealous of her husband spending more time with Johannes Faustuz than he does with her.
-
As for the two guys, Tyrone loves being around Faustuz since he gets free food and advice about being a father and husband; Tyrone is also excited with common things they share - such as being born around a holiday (Tyrone was born on Thanksgiving Day; Faustuz was almost born on Christmas Eve), growing up poor and being raised by other relatives (Tyrone was raised by his grandmother; Faustuz was raised by his uncle and aunt), playing the same video games in their childhood (Super Mario, Zelda, Final Fantasy, Pokémon), and being really tall (both are over 180cm / 6 ft. tall).
Faustuz at times gets exhausted and annoyed with his coworker’s constant attention, but he considers Tyrone as a good friend and is willing to help him with whatever he needs.

A nice early spring stroll around Kiel.
It’s not often these three are home (their actual home, not Los Angeles) together as a family.
-
I made this pic pink like sakura blossoms blooming. (Unfortunately I wasn’t able to see them in my trip to Japan since it was December, but they had beautiful red maple leaves at the park, lol.)
The coloring process was also inspired by Andy Warhol’s art on the last slide (he’s been a favorite since I was a kid; pop art and anime are my biggest influences).
-
As for both Kasper guys, I opted to not have glasses since I thought it would cover their faces with the pic being so small; look carefully, and they still have their odd-eyes at least.
When it gets small, many details get lost in the whole, so keeping things minimal is best.
