The one thing Freyja loves more than her husband is reading a good book. — #originalcharacters #couple #reading #book #digitalart #digitalartwork #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #sketchbookapp #sketchbookautodesk

Haven’t done a #digitaldrawing for some time, so here’s one. - And it’s a bit morbid with the older Hr. Dr. Kasper looking so serious with his gloved hand covered in #blood. Perhaps it’s a sign that I’m eager for October to come again so I can have my hands covered and dripping with ink like blood (yes, Inktober is a coming~). — #digitalart #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #sketchbookapp #sketchbookautodesk #sketchbookautodeskapp #originalcharacter #malecharacter #doctor #blond

Today’s #workdrawing that was finished at home. I’ve just been super tired and busy lately! - I’d like to make a series of panels based on the idea of Cedrick always wanting to eat his father’s food at different stages in his life, or of the two fighting over Mama Kasper’s leftovers since they’re always so hungry after a long day at work. So this is technically a warmup to see how I’d draw it out. — #pilotpen #frixion #frixionpen #frixioncolors #frixionball #erasableink #erasablepens #erasable #ink #inkart #inkartwork #pen #penart #penartwork #pendrawing #sketchbook #dottednotebook #leuchtturm1917 #lechtturm1917 #originalcharacters #originalcharactersart #originalcharactersdrawing #fatherson

A slightly cleaner, modified panel from an old pic made back in October 2017. It’s kinda obvious that things won’t go well for the younger Hr. Dr. Kasper as the day passes by despite his initial enthusiasm. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #wacomart #originalcharacters #malecharacters #fatherson #father #son #doctors #comicpanel

Just another #selfie of me wearing another one of my @adidas #jerseys . They’re one of the best things to wear with the hot sticky humid weather lately here in SoCal. #germany has the nicest designs, and I already have both colors (everyone really loves the green one). So which one should I get next? Comment below. 🤗 - I was playing around with #moldiv #facetune and (of course) #instagram with the #portrait function on the iPhone to make this. I tried my best not to hide everything away - just mainly my ugly giant pores. 😅 — #selfportrait #iphoneportrait #iphonephotography #adidas #adidasjersey #germanyjersey #germanyjersey2018

Another #workdrawing done in my #moleskinecahier with #frixioncolors #marker and #frixionball #pen . Still iffy on the markers, but it has an interesting chalky faded effect coloring with them. So I guess I could say they’re slowly growing on me - just depends on how I use them. - Lately I’ve been drawing my characters with a #cupofcoffee . Perhaps it’s an indication of my current state of lacking the magical substance at work, lol. — #pilotpen #frixion #pendrawing #penart #penartwork #inkart #inkdrawing #blackink #erasable #erasablepen #erasablemarker #moleskine #sketchbook #originalcharacter #malecharacter #drinkingcoffee #drinkingcupofcoffee

#throwbackthursday - An old pic of Cedrick, Vincent-Claude, and Rufus from October 2016. You can see how this pic set the current look of these three, and eventually I’ll make another one of these three to compare. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #originalcharacters #originalcharacter #originalcharacterdrawing #malecharacters #blond #redhead #brunet #trio #wacomart #frauv8_ocs

Cedrick with a #daisy , #cosmos , and #cornflower . No allergies like the last time I drew him with flowers, lol. 🌸 - Pg. 1: Finished Pg. 2: Close-Up Pg. 3: Plain Version Pg. 4: Uncolored. Tricia, Cedrick, and Carmen. And it looks like the 1990s with their clothing like that, but lately fashion has regurgitated the 90s and early 00s (which I hated wearing as a kid growing up). - There is another teenager character I haven’t drawn yet - Rufus’ younger cousin Colleen McClaine. She’s 13, and like Rufus and Freyja, she’s a redhead. She’s a bit young for the group here (Tricia: 17-18, Cedrick: 15-16, Carmen: 16-17), but she’ll have her debut soon enough as school starts again for the kiddos since she’ll be a freshman (except for Cedrick - he’s a wunderkind and occasionally tutors when he’s not busy at the hospital). — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #sketchbookapp #originalcharacters #teenagers #trio #twogirlsoneguy #friends #pink

Just a weird random thought came to mind - Cedrick Kasper has been one of my original characters since about 2006, so what if I drew him the age he’d be right now? His original age was 21 when I first created him, so add on the years from there. Makes sense he’d look like how I draw his father right now - Johannes Faustuz in my current reboot is 40, which isn’t much older than 33. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadprodrawing #sketchbookapp #originalcharacter #malecharacter #drinkingcoffee #glasses #blond

Latest #minisketchbook work drawing with me inking in the background while waiting for dinner. And yes, I do wear glasses. 🤓 - A somewhat friendly reminder from Herr Doktor Kasper to not feed his mutant fruit flies. Just a quick #digitaldrawing this time with a limited #colorscheme . Knowing all likelihood nobody wants to do it because people are sick of seeing these, but why not #drawthisinyourstyle ? How I miss coloring in with markers~ I used a mix of #tombowdualbrushpens with #hobbycolourmarkers for these two (I’m too poor for Copic markers, lol). These markers blend very well together, and the Tombow markers are perfect to use if you don’t like ink bleeding through the paper as much. HobbyColour markers are alcohol-based, making them a little smelly like Sharpies and they really bleed through paper. - Kinda went off with the Viking theme again with both characters with their hair braided. It’s #bastilleday today! And #France is in the #finals of the #worldcup2018 - quelle chance! 🇫🇷 - Here we have the Kaspers with the DeValuers, and both Vincent-Claude and his father Leyon waste no time to get their counterparts ready for the match tomorrow. Can’t say either Cedrick or Johannes Faustuz are just as enthused knowing their bad luck rooting for their home country of Germany, then Mama’s Sweden, and thirdly Belgium after some recycling. Even I’m nervous - so much heartbreak when Germany, Japan, Sweden, Belgium, and England all got knocked out on the way, and I only got France left on my list. So ALLEZ LES BLEUS! 🇫🇷 But if Croatia 🇭🇷 wins, it’s fitting with the how crazy this tournament has been. — #digitaldrawing #digitalart #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #sketchbookapp #originalcharacters #originalcharacterdrawing #malecharacters #allezlesbleus #allezlesbleus🇫🇷 #vivelafrance #worldcup #worldcupfever #frauv8_ocs

Finished this #pendrawing at home. I wish I have color versions of the #blackink #kuretakebrushpen - perhaps when I get the chance to go back to Maido when I return to Santa Anita for work. The other person everyone is afraid of at the hospital aside from Cedrick’s father (Herr Doktor Kasper) is the director Docteur DeValuer. He’ll show up and sneak up on you when you least expect it. He’s not very pleased with the younger Herr Doktor’s choice to cheer on #teambelgium over France for the #worldcup . - Docteur DeValuer says: “What is that? A Belgian flag?” Je ne parle pas Français, but I know some (I did study it for two years; same with Spanish), and my German is even worse (had a pen pal ages ago). So getting me to say full phrases and conversing is literally painful for me. 😣 — #inkdrawing #pendrawing #pensketch #sketchbook #leuchtturn1917 #leuchtturm1917 #pilotpen #frixonpen #kuretakebrushpen #highlighterpen #originalcharacters #originalcharactersketch #originalcharacterdrawing
