There was a 4th sketch, but it wasn’t going to fit within IG’s square format - it’s featured in the highlight “SIGRID’S DIARY” for future reference.
• Sigrid’s School Uniform.💼
Sigrid attended an all-girls academy run by nuns, priests, and others familiar with the occult and mythical (it’s a mix of a religious high school with Hogwarts).
Her uniform is basically a collared white shirt, a red necktie, a blue sweater or blazer with her school emblem (a red shield with a white cross), a red plaid skirt, black stockings / knee socks, and a pair of oxfords; Sigrid often wore pink leg warmers and jellies sandals with her uniform to add vibrant splashes of color.
• Off to Tivoli Gardens.🎡🎠
Sigrid lived in Copenhagen where one of the world’s oldest amusement parks resides; it was also the inspiration for the first Disneyland.
Tivoli Gardens was one of their favorite places for late night dates to avoid being easily seen by anyone who didn’t approve of their relationship.
Sigrid’s favorite rides were the Ferris wheel, swings, and carousel - which also happen to be Richard’s least favorite rides (he gets motion sickness riding them).
• Human Anatomy Books.📚
Sigrid loved textbooks - especially ones with illustrations and photos - but her school didn’t have many because the principal wanted to teach the “ancient ways without modern influences”.
Since being acquainted with Richard, she had access to the local university’s library whenever he’s working there.
Sigrid favorite books were on botany, but her curiosity had gotten the best of her in regards to human male anatomy.

Cedrick’s attire is highly inspired by K-Pop music videos - which he’s a big fan of (he’s also a huge fan of EDM and Industrial/Goth/Metal Rock music).
Like his mother Freyja, he’s open to wearing anything he finds fashionable and doesn’t mind crossing gender boundaries when it comes to looks (he’s very much a boy otherwise).

Johannes Faustuz can never get a break from soul collecting because there’s always something or someone dying nearby.
Like any task, there’s times it gets so busy he can’t keep up and needs help.
Faustuz is also wearing an updated version of his father’s outfit from the 1980s.

Grim Reapers and Monster Hunters are becoming more rare as less people are in tune with the spiritual, mythical, and occult world.
And not all souls get collected based on what they are (ie. plant and insect souls are mostly harmless, but animal and human souls - especially those who died suddenly and violently - are extremely dangerous and prone to transforming into monsters that harm the living).
Luckily most souls like to gather together and often like to float around the closest Grim Reaper wanting to move on.
But there are creatures that like to chase or devour them (cats can be a Grim Reapers biggest annoyance because they not only had multiple lives but also chase souls as if they’re yarn balls).

Death Himself (formerly Richard Kasper) keeping a close eye on his son Hr. Dr. Kasper.

Death keeps his wife Sigrid, brother Heinrich, and other beloved people’s souls over his many lifetimes nearby for company.
Death mostly stays underground communicating telepathically to Grim Reapers, but occasionally he’ll pop up above ground wearing his black robe to personally deliver case files or join in the fight for a little fun.
It took a few years for Johannes Faustuz to figure out that his father was Death all along, making him very spiteful.
Faustuz felt like he was abandoned as a child when Richard couldn’t remain “human” without losing chunks of flesh and coughing out bodily fluids - thus Richard “died” when he finally hid away and left his son with his brother Heinrich and sister-in-law Yoko.

It’s back to the 1980s, this time with Richard and a baby Johannes Faustuz.
As an adult, Faustuz hates it when people (especially his father-in-law Erik) only focus on how much he looks and sounds just like his father Richard.
Personality-wise Faustuz is more like his mother Sigrid (quiet, sarcastic, and introverted with a bit of sass and crude language), which was often brought up by his grandmother Aina whenever he visited her.

2021 Pantone colors are grey and yellow too…
Maybe it’s too much, but it has Chartreuse in it which is one shade of yellow I don’t mind.
(Yellow is a color that makes me nervous; other colors that can get my skin crawling if it’s too saturated are Cyan and Lime Green)

Hello yellow my nemesis.💛
I have a love/hate relationship with yellow - it’s a color that I either find too bright and obnoxious or has just the right amount of pop when used as a hair color or for accessories.
I’m partial to chartreuse if I have to pick a specific shade of yellow, but it has a hint of green which might explain why I like it.
This shade of yellow is on the warm orangey end of the spectrum making it kinda neutral like a brown, which isn’t terrible either (again - not pure yellow).
Fashion-wise, 2021 has been super colorful so far with all the retro 1990s stuff that I vividly remember wearing as a little kid.
We definitely need all of the cheerful colors to brighten up our lives after the sh!tstorm called 2020.

It’s June, so it’s time to let all the bright colors out! 🌈

This time Freyja is paired up with her favorite cousin Einar who loves fashion just as much as she does (if not more); they’re often mistaken as brother/sister siblings because they have similar physical features and share the same last name.
The two grew up together playing with dolls and dress-up, and as adults they still have fun wearing flashy outfits whenever they hang out.
Einar is often featured on Freyja’s TV show “FLASH FASHION” as a guest judge, and he portrays himself as a “sassy bitch who’s hard to please”.
Freyja does get annoyed with her cousin whenever he playfully flirts with her husband, but Einar enjoys doing so just to tease her (Hr. Dr. Kasper just smiles and plays along, often replying “Sorry Darling - Freyja found me first”).

Poor Richard had his clothes removed and taken away every time he’s done killing Tatzelwurms in the backyard - Aina got fed up cleaning the blood dripping onto her rugs and would rather wash his clothes instead.
Aina did her best to get Richard’s clothes done before Sigrid gets home from school, but occasionally Sigrid had no choice but to deal with a naked Grim Reaper/Monster Hunter locked up in her bathroom.
Sigrid was initially upset and embarrassed (especially if she actually needed to use toilet or shower), but over time - and especially when they were officially a couple - she would enjoy teasing him.

There’s also a glimpse of Richard suffering from Lovesickness (mainly caused by expressing nonstop affection and getting constant rejection over a long period of time), the first symptoms being high fever and extreme fatigue.

Heinrich met his wife Yoko abroad in Hiroshima, Japan during a business trip there.
The two quickly fell in love and married within two months, starting a family as soon as Yoko moved to Kiel with Heinrich.
They had two children - a son Hansel, and a daughter Hannah two years later; but because he didn’t have a son who inherited “Odin’s Eye”, Heinrich had to give up his position as family heir to his younger brother Richard.
This caused a brief rift in the brothers’ relationship, but Richard quickly bonded with the two children, often spoiling them with candy and toys every time he came home to Kiel.
Heinrich and Yoko would take in Richard’s son Johannes Faustuz after he died; Yoko would continue to raise Faustuz as her own after her own children had left home and Heinrich’s death from lung cancer.

Richard and Sigrid took much longer to establish their relationship as a couple.
Richard had just broken off his engagement and was sent to Copenhagen to a flower shop; he realized he was sent to observe the shopkeeper’s teenage daughter Sigrid who was cursed with only two years left to live.
Richard immediately felt pity but was also smitten by Sigrid’s beauty, constantly wooing her with gifts and affection whenever he visited her.
Sigrid initially didn’t want anything to do with him with his playboy reputation and being so much older than her; but after Richard suffered a serious case of lovesickness during a visit, Sigrid allowed him to recover in her room, which lead to a night of unexpected passion.
Richard and Sigrid were married in a year; they had a son, but Sigrid died a few days after giving birth.
Richard felt so much guilt in Sigrid’s death that he soon followed after her from heartbreak and illness almost three years later (there’s been hearsay that Richard hasn’t died but was sent to the underworld to keep souls from coming back out; there’s also rumors saying that he’s actually Death himself).

About each sketch:
•Richard noticed Sigrid liked collecting fashion ads from discarded magazines, particularly of high-end power suits and dresses.
Even though he wasn’t fond of wearing formal clothes in general, Richard decided to save up to buy an Armani suit to impress Sigrid on their first formal dinner date as a couple.
•Sigrid works for her mother Aina at their flower shop/house arranging and selling bouquets, as well as tending the hundreds of plants growing in the backyard garden and greenhouse.
It was on Valentine’s Day while selling roses when she first met Richard.
•During a school field trip, Sigrid accidentally bumped into Richard during a tour of the local university’s campus; she finds out that he does research there as an Epidemiologist when he’s not busy traveling abroad and killing rogue monsters.
Whenever she needs to do a report or feels like reading on random topics, Sigrid would ask if Richard could take her to the library for resources.
•Sigrid’s favorite things to eat were ice cream and Rødgrød, both rich with cream; whenever she tried to offer her boyfriend some, Richard immediately refused to avoid horrible digestive issues that come from being lactose intolerant.
