Bonus Sigrid’s Diary Entry 📔 “Hedy the Black Cat” - Hedy was Sigrid’s teacher/neighbor’s pet cat that constantly ran away from home and slept in Aina’s greenhouse. She was named after the famous inventive actress due to her cleverness and striking glance; Hedy was also very affectionate towards Sigrid, Aina, and Richard despite his dislike for cats. (Kaspers are Grim Reapers and are usually accompanied with Hellhounds, making them “dog-people”; cats are known to have multiple lives and ward off spirits and souls that Grim Reapers need to collect, making it difficult to do Death’s work; there’s also many creatures that resemble cats that often go rogue, like Tatzelwurms) - Mr. Vannderhassen often accused Aina of stealing his cat, once saying she had killed it for witchcraft when she didn’t return home (turns out Hedy was fooling around with the neighborhood Tom cat and gave birth to a large litter of kittens in the greenhouse). Mr. Vannderhassen wasn’t the kindest of neighbors nor the most moral, resulting in his death. Hedy ended up staying with Aina until her death twenty years later; Aina currently owns a descendant of Hedy - another black cat she named Lamar. — #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #malecharacter #femalecharacter #cat #man #girl #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #yellow #frauv8_ocs

Another random fun fashion drawing with Tricia and Cedrick using neon camouflage and complimentary masks in the 2nd slide. - Cedrick’s haircut will grow back to his usual fringe/bowlcut (3rd slide), and closer looks on the last two slides. — #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #drawing #malecharacter #femalecharacter #boy #girl #fashion #clothing #neon #neoncamo #pink #yellow #orange #red #black #white #frauv8_ocs

Wear a mask or you’ll be seeing this guy sooner than you want.💀 - The design was based off a suggested image from Pinterest, though it also reminds me of the graphics I make at work... (it’s the sans-serif font and straight lines 😑) - I plan on making a quick note page about Grim Reapers (Kaspers are obviously not the only ones around, and Grim Reapers can be female depending on cultural reasons). — #autodesksketchbook #malecharacter #man #grimreaper #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #graphicdesign #typography #text #red #black #blue #glasses #hat #skullfacemask

Sigrid is not amused having a Grim Reaper watching over her as she walks home from school in Copenhagen - especially this one. (Richard can be a bit of a creep because he’s much older and taller than Sigrid) - As a teenage girl with less than two years to live, Death decided to have a little mercy on Sigrid by sending Richard from Kiel to “observe her” until her time is up (Death also thought it’d be fun to play with the heart of one of his top reapers just because he can). For her mother Aina, it was a huge relief because Sigrid had been attacked by bullies from school; Sigrid’s history teacher (and neighbor) also had been showing a strong interest in her aside from her academics, often stopping by the flower shop trying to convince Aina that Sigrid needs “extra lessons” (she knows better). Aina also took an instant liking to Richard, knowing despite his past as a playboy and being the younger of 2 sons of one of the deadliest killers of both humans and mythical creatures, he has a good heart and that Kaspers are very serious about taking care of family and loved ones. Richard initially was reluctant with dealing with a girl so young, having pity on her (as well as falling in love, knowing he could be in serious trouble being with a girl over 8 years younger than he is); with Aina’s blessing, Richard made it his goal to take care Sigrid by all means - even if he has to extract souls and give up his own life. — #autodesksketchbook #pixaloop #motionleap #malecharacter #femalecharacter #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #man #girl #frauv8_ocs

Richard not feeling well with lovesickness, recovering in Sigrid’s bed. Sigrid was worried that her cold attitude towards Richard was the cause of his lovesickness, afraid he was going to die because of her (Richard pitied her and became so attached, wanting to treat her with the best care before Death collects her soul himself). Aina told her there’s a cure, requiring “the sweet nectar of a maiden’s bud” - but it’s something Sigrid hasn’t fully understand yet being sheltered and expected to die within two years. — #autodesksketchbook #malecharacter #femalecharacter #originalcharacterart #originalcharacters #couple #pink #blue #pixaloop #motionleap

It’s Christmas!🎄 Hopefully everyone is hunkered down and staying safe/healthy this time around. Taking a break from the humans with the Kaspers’ oversized orange fluffball of a cat Klimt. As cute and cuddly as he is, Klimt has been a little monster this year almost eating up little mythical creatures, drinking out of Papa Kasper’s coffee mug, sitting on laptops and tablets during Zoom sessions, and destroying the toilet paper supply in peak quarantine. — #happyholidays #merrychristmas #holidayseason #ornament #norwegianforestcat #orangecat #cat #orange #red #yellow #green #pixaloop #motionleap #autodesksketchbook #ipaddrawing #digitalart #digitaldrawing

Quick drawing and color palette play of Richard and Sigrid. - Richard was often surprised by Sigrid’s hugs from behind when he was about to leave her mother Aina’s flower shop; it’s not usual for Sigrid to cling onto Richard with her stubborn aloofness, but with Richard having more constant trips abroad and being away for weeks to months at a time, Sigrid couldn’t help become more attached to her suitor. This was the seed of his lovesickness, feeling even more guilt watching Sigrid in Death’s behalf and falling in love with a girl so much younger than him. — #malecharacter #femalecharacter #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #couple #autodesksketchbook #blue #yellow #pink

Circa 1979-1980: Sigrid on an unofficial date with Richard. Spring 1981: Sigrid tending to her mother’s unusual grafted tree while Richard follows and keeps a close eye on her. It’s before Richard left for a three-month-long trip to America (tracking down a rogue monster for a client), leaving Sigrid behind with a big surprise. It’s also one of Aina’s favorite photos of her daughter and son-in-law together she took. When Johannes Faustuz was a child, he would gag at it, rolling his eyes as his grandmother explains it’s most likely the first photo of him inside his mother (or at least right before he was conceived); as an adult, Faustuz still feels uneasy about the fact that his mother was only a teenager when she had him (and died) and that his father might of been a bit of a sleazy guy (considering his parents’ large age gap). Faustuz now looks at the photo with pity, sadness, and anger, wishing he had more time with his mother Sigrid; he’s still disgusted in regards to his father Richard, but has a better understanding of why he married Sigrid. — #autodesksketchbook #pixaloop #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #femalecharacter #couple #man #woman #flowers #floweringtree #tree #blue #yellow #pink

Hr. Dr. Richard Kasper surrounded by a lot of holiday red and boca. He holds an Iris, a birth flower of February - his beloved Sigrid’s birth month. But at this point of time (c. 1979-1980), Sigrid hasn’t warmed up to Richard’s charms yet - she sees him as an annoying old foreign man with a lot of baggage constantly visiting her mother’s flower shop. — #malecharacter #autodesksketchbook #pixaloop #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #originalcharacter #red #flower #man #iris #coat #glasses #boca
