Father and son, Johannes Faustuz and Cedrick, in matching outfits based off of actual clothes; might draw a different version that shows their clothes in their entirety since I had to crop this so it fits in silly Instagram. Also seems like I can’t get over the color red even though Valentine’s Day has been over. At least it’s not an obnoxious bright yellow (*glares and gags looking at Minions and Sweden’s jersey* I’m so sorry, but that shade of yellow makes me cry because it’s such a difficult color to use without hurting my eyes). — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #animestyle #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacters #man #boy #teenageboy #father #son #blond #glasses #black #red #yellow #frauv8_ocs

Digital version of Cedrick in the rain. It doesn’t rain often here where I live in SoCal, but where the Kaspers are from, it can rain and/or snow quite a bit. - Personally I like it without effects, but I included the #pixaloop version as the 2nd slide. A nice early spring stroll around Kiel. It’s not often these three are home (their actual home, not Los Angeles) together as a family. - I made this pic pink like sakura blossoms blooming. (Unfortunately I wasn’t able to see them in my trip to Japan since it was December, but they had beautiful red maple leaves at the park, lol.) The coloring process was also inspired by Andy Warhol’s art on the last slide (he’s been a favorite since I was a kid; pop art and anime are my biggest influences). - As for both Kasper guys, I opted to not have glasses since I thought it would cover their faces with the pic being so small; look carefully, and they still have their odd-eyes at least. When it gets small, many details get lost in the whole, so keeping things minimal is best. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #drawing #lineart #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #characterdesign #characters #malecharacters #femalecharacter #family #mother #son #father #halftone #pink #blue #black #white

Papa Kasper enjoying another cup of coffee: hot, black, two spoonfuls of sugar, no milk or cream. He don’t do lattes or macchiatos because he’s lactose intolerant.☕️ As for tea, Johannes Faustuz is open to try anything ; his favorites are lingonberry, elderflower, rose, Earl Grey, and matcha green tea.🍵 - It’s a simple animated pic using iMovie. Kimiko Abe this time in cute pastel colors. - Originally from Yokohama, Kimiko is a sweet, polite, but klutzy nursing student who has a hard time getting past her timidity around people at the hospital; it also doesn’t help being very petite, making her easily lost in a crowd (she’s only 152cm / 5’ tall). Kimiko still struggles with some English and adjusting to her new work environment, so she was paired up with someone fluent with Japanese - and to her shock, he’s not Japanese. She also caught the attention of a university professor, constantly wooed for her affection in return. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #drawing #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #femalecharacter #woman #japanese #pink #blue #green #stripes

Tante Yoko Kobayashi and Onkel Heinrich Kasper on their wedding day. ⛪️ These two met at a business meeting where Yoko was her father’s assistant and Heinrich was a businessman assigned to Hiroshima to setup a deal; though initially Yoko was at first cautious of Heinrich’s advances, they fell completely head-over-heels for each other and were married in months. Not long moving back to Kiel where Heinrich was from, Hansel was born, followed by Hannah two years later. - Despite their happy life together, Heinrich and Yoko maintained a strained relationship with the family’s patriarch Olaf who didn’t like the fact his son married a Japanese woman and had children who didn’t inherit the family’s heterochromia abilities. Times got harder when Heinrich’s younger brother Richard with his wife Sigrid suddenly died, leaving behind their infant son Johannes Faustuz in their care. Yoko didn’t want another child and insisted that he be raised by Olaf, but Heinrich retorted back that if he was raised by his father, he would be raised to become cruel and intolerant as he was. - Life continues for ten years before Heinrich becomes ill and dies from lung cancer, leaving Yoko inconsolable; her son Hansel had left for university, and her daughter Hannah ran away with her boyfriend, forcing her to re-examine her relationship with her nephew Faustuz. Eventually the family reunites; Yoko still doesn’t like Faustuz, more so as he resembles her husband as the years pass by, but her children have become close with their cousin and enjoy sharing memories with him. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #pixaloop #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #animestyle #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #man #femalecharacter #woman #couple #inlove #wedding #frauv8_ocs

Ugh... It’s so hard to finish something when my weekend was busy and I’m currently suffering from fever and nausea 🤢 (I’m really questioning my choice of eating leftover noodles for lunch earlier today; yesterday I also suffered from eating food that contained some dairy in it, so that’s two days in a row I damaged my digestive system). - Anyway, this time I did a #redraw of an old pic from early 2018. I planned on making it more detailed, but with life in the way, I kept it simple; it also has a different color scheme from the original. It’s still a bit early for Valentine’s Day, but it’s creeping up soon. Most likely until then, I’ll be posting more of these two and other OCs that are couples. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #colorstudy #animestyle #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #boy #femalecharacter #girl #children #couple #pink #yellow #valentinesday #frauv8_ocs #frauv8

Oh Instagram with your silly square format...✂️ - If Cedrick is “The Boy With Odd Eyes”, his father Johannes Faustuz is “The Oncologist With Heterochromia”. Heterochromia is the scientific way of saying odd-colored eyes, and both father and son have it; in some cases, it’s a dominant trait. For the Kaspers, only those who inherit blue eye genes from both parents will get it - almost always one eye being green and the other blue (few times there has been brown and blue eye combinations, like Hansel’s daughter Leisa). Heterochromia for the Kaspers also means they inherit an ability to see the strengths and weaknesses of mythical creatures as well as see hidden beings that could potentially become harmful (such as Ghosts and Yōkai). The ability also allows for Faustuz and Cedrick to have perfect eyesight at the cost of mental and physical energy (this explains their addiction to caffeine, constant snacking, need for power naps, and often being grouchy at the hospital). - I was debating whether I wanted to draw this pic like the last one, but there’s just something about the pencil brush texture that kept me from doing that. Now I’m going to figure my next two pics... It could be sketchy like this, or digitally inked like the others - depending on how the characters are going to be like. - Comment below what you think.🤗 —— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #digitalsketch #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #colorstudy #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #man #blond #shirtandtie #longhair #japanese #german #yellow #mangastyle #animestyle #frauv8_ocs #frauv8

The votes are in!🗳 Cedrick Kasper in Color Scheme 1 was voted top choice, but Queenie Williams and Kimiko Abe had some love too (OCs in 2nd slide). I have pinks and purples planned out for each of them respectively; Queenie will have a tea party theme while Kimiko will have a kawaii Harajuku decora theme. And while planning out this drawing, another idea for Papa Kasper came up since this has a playful pose and vibe. - So wtf is this adorkable kid sticking his tongue out for? What a silly boy. 🤪 The last slide has a photo of a neon green jacket that inspired me. I gave Cedrick’s jacket skulls instead of roses because Kaspers don’t do pretty - they do weird and creepy. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #drawing #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #boy #teenboy #teenager #neoncolors #yellow #green #blue #hoodie #jacket #bowlcut #glasses #japanese #german

Tricia Williams and her boba tea. She can’t resist a cup of the sweet stuff, even if it means putting up with a tutoring session with Cedrick Kasper at the cafe. - I really had fun with this color scheme. I’m a bit early to be posting this, but eh... I can always draw something else for Valentine’s Day.😛 It’s kinda a redraw from a pic from last year too - Johannes Faustuz is even wearing the same heart-shirt!❤️ (check 2nd slide) - Childhood sweethearts since they were 9-10, Freyja and Faustuz have always had people scratching their heads in confusion on why they’re so attached to each other: “What makes this disheveled Geek the Prince Charming to this Beauty’s eyes?” Both had tragic family deaths (her mother died; his parents and uncle died), both have a deep love of books (English literature is her favorite while his are Science and Historical Fiction), and both grew up in households familiar with mythical creatures and the occult despite being opposite sides of social class (she’s super rich while he grew up low middle-class). Add in the fact she’s a Cancer and he’s a Capricorn, and these two are very a stable couple - except for the occasional clash of stubborn alpha personalities (she’s more social and emotional while he’s very reserved and often blunt). They also worked hard to start their relationship by learning how to be able to communicate with each other (Freyja didn’t know German, nor Faustuz any Swedish or English when they first met). After years of learning and sharing their interests, it’s no wonder why these two bonded even though people look at them in disbelief; Freyja loves her husband because he values her as his best friend, not just some beautiful object. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #lineart #animestyle #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #man #femalecharacter #woman #heartshirt #hearts #valentines #valentines_day #valentinesday #valentinesday2020 #japanese #german #couple #inlove #pink #frauv8_ocs #frauv8

And here’s another one! It’s Mama Kasper this time.👩🏻‍🦰 - I wanted to make sure that it’s obvious that it’s not the same language as my last one by using the blue-yellow color scheme of Sweden’s flag (Freyja is Swedish, not German like her husband and son). 🇸🇪 Freyja Ström is the “Fashionable One” for obvious reasons. You can say she’s doing an awkward “JoJo Pose” flashing off that wedding bling on her finger, lol. 💍 If I keep making more of these, the next one in order would most likely be Cedrick or Vincent-Claude, then whoever from there. - Comment below to let me know who should be next - aside from the Kaspers (they’re my main three OCs, but let’s give some love to the others). **Check Slide 2 for a chart of some of my OCs — #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #colorscheme #colorstudy #yellow #blue #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #femalecharacter #woman #fashionmodel #japanese #swedish #mangastyle #animestyle #frauv8_ocs #frauv8

Good Morning!🌞 How’s your coffee today?☕️ - This guy likes his coffee black with exactly two spoonfuls of sugar, no milk or cream. Me? I’m almost as bad as he is - I’m satisfied with a small cold brew coffee with two pumps of simple syrup and an occasional splash of coconut, soy, or almond milk (I’m like 90% sure I’m lactose intolerant, lol); otherwise I like tea and fruity drinks. — I had soo~ much fun with this one that I wanna make another one.😄 The only question is which OC?🤔 Comment below to say which of my characters you want me to draw next. Digital version of the #pencilsketch of Cedrick and Klimt from last week (11JAN2020). - セドリック is “Cedrick” in Japanese (specifically written in Katakana; I looked it up). He’s obviously not Japanese, but he’s able to read some with his father’s aunt being Japanese (Johannes Faustuz is fluent in Japanese since he was raised by Tante Yoko and spoke it with his cousins Hansel and Hannah). - I’m thinking about drawing more pics like this with a touch of scribbled writing whether it’s in Japanese, English, German, whatever language that could give it an ascetic since full-page comics were voted unpopular in my feed. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #drawing #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #characterart #character #malecharacter #boy #pet #cat #neoncolors
